Harbor Freight 450lbs Transmission Jack

If you have ever put in or taken out a transmission with a standard hydraulic jack you know it is a royal pain. Trying to keep it level, not tip it over and kill yourself, and wishing you could keep it level are constant issues. This transmission jack is pretty well built, simple in design, and with the regular coupon you can pick it up for $79. Keep an eye out for the next coupon and pick one up if you have ever thought about it; Glad I did, it will make the next transmission drop much easier.

Trying to balance a trans on a conventional jack is such a pain, and it never reaches high enough. Should have bought one years ago.

Was doing the clutch in my sisters 2001 kia sportage 4x4 and I really cold have used that. I know exactly what you mean about balancing with 2x4s and a regular jack. Especially with a transfer case attached.

Yep, I've done it numerous times and always said, 'I'm gonna get a trans jack one of these days' so many times. Finally did and wish I had years ago.
