Robert Allen Palmer (19 January 1949 -- 26 September 2003), born in Batley, Yorkshire, was an English singer-songwriter. He was known for his soulful voice and the eclectic mix of musical styles on his albums, combining soul, jazz, rock, pop and blues.

Hi to all. This song is profound on so many levels. My favourite lyric is when he says "he is eating his breath trying to talk sense to her" and she replies "the argument has to in proportion to what you are asking" absolute genius.

Lip sync.. awsome song but thought it sounded to good and you can tell as he cuts off short and doesnt finish his lines.. still love it tho ❤
