never point a gun at anyone or yourself even if you think it is unloaded or rusted it could still fire off a round and hurt someone always be careful handling any gun and stay safe
@Keith Taylor from when I was a young child a neighbour used to pop around my Grandma's and he always carried a rifle I was terrified because he had a gun and I used to hide behind my Grandma. Nothing has changed even now, I am still terrified of firearms. I wouldn't even hold one let alone point a firearm at someone or myself. 😅
i wrote that so those who don't know don't shoot themselves or someone else had a uncle who grabbed a gun by the barrel and killed him that he found by the river hope that will not happen to anyone else
Mark's headwear has inspired me to craft myself an elven cap for forest walking and garden puttering ... of nettle-dyed felted wool. thanks!!!
Can you make me one too please Lucy?! ❤
@@Beth_D maybe. will see how it goes.
Nice idea!
Oh, I admire your spirit and your courage! It's a great hat!
Love the Amercian accent. My Father taught me that every gun, even a disassembled gun is LOADED. Your caution with guns being pointed in your direction is correct. Love Mark's hat and his baby shark. Nice edits with the refreshing beverages placement. Have a great week Si!
Cheers Angie!
Thanks! 🤗 isn’t a weekend without you upload
Thanks so much Lori! 😊👍🏻👣🧡
I love Mark's tiny hovercraft! It's adorable. Best hovercraft so far imo. ❤🦈
Absolutely awesome Si, till the next mudventure then.🍁🙃🇨🇦
Cheers Maz😊👍🏻👣🧡
The first rule our weapon master taught us was: Long index finger! Never put your finger on the trigger of a gun. You never know if it might not be loaded. Even a broomstick could be charged! ...at least that's what he said, but Harry Potter proved us that's not the case! 🤣🤣
And the second rule was: never point a gun at a human being unless you actually want to shoot it!
My family has put up with me filling every available surface with treasures saved from the mud for years, but I’m pretty sure if I ever put a gun in the toilet they’re going to kick me out 😬🤣
Thanks for another amazing mudventure, I can’t wait to see what you found in bottle heaven! ❤
Ps. I am OBSESSED with Mark’s hat!! I need one!!
Lol, I read your comment a minute or so before Sci explained the toilet cleaning system and was wondering if the only available space left to keep your mud treasure was the toilet 😅
Oh, me too, I want a hat like that . . especially when I'm in elf mode. Elves are epic.
@@jessiep2471 🤣 it is getting close to that point! All bookshelves and windowsills are FULL!
@@janesalisbury3686 we can start our own little elfin mudlarking crew 🤣
I think it's his Robin Hood hat - he does re-enactments as an archer
How lovely that Mark donates his finds to the museum. What a very commendable thing to do! I love his hat as well, very Robin Hood. Its so wonderful to watch your videos, I look forward to them every week! Take care my friend!
Your friend from Oregon 🇺🇸
Thanks Pat, yes he is a legend!
Greetings fellow Oregonian!
Shame the German replica gun was not real, but still impressive and amazing to see all the different guns found. Nice to see Mark and his Shark, good day for Seals, wild life is an added bonus when out on a trip, bottles and jars excellent. Love the upcycle. Just quick question have you ever found any old swords, look forward for the next adventure
Hi Kim, No swords I'm afraid but it's on my wishlist
Very interesting update on the gun that you found . Love your videos as always and the upcycling that you do !!
Thanks Elaine 😊👍🏻👣🧡
My father (an U.S. Army Training Sargent) taught my brothers, sister, and I to never point any gun (toy or real) at anyone (unless we attended to use it). Most people have not been taught this simple rule. Not many years ago, a gun and knife collector set up part of his collection at the local Flea Market. A customer walked up, picketed up a hand gun, aimed it at a woman (who he did not know), pulled the trigger, and the woman fell dead. The gun wasn't supposed to be loaded; but, somehow it was. The gun owner/dealer and shooter were both arrested. The poor woman remained dead. It is to be noted that she was standing next to her daughter when she was murdered. This bad event almost killed the Flea Market. It is still open every weekend; but, it will never be as nice and big as it was. "Never assume that a gun is not loaded." "When you assume, you can make a ASS out of U and ME."
Well said 😊👍🏻👣🧡
Yes...that was exaclty the story I was expecting to see in the comments... Not exactly though, this one is more...real
Yes. And I was taught not only to never point a gun unless you intend to use it, but never point a gun unless you intend to kill. Sounds horrible, but that is the point after all... And it certainly drives the point home.
@Arvetta DeLashmit
Where was this?
Respect to your father for teaching you the same way I was told. Even when using a finger or stick to play shooting games we had to use the same rules. We were laughed at, however, none in the family have used any weapon unless it was a you or me situation. I am sad for that lady & especially her daughter. Every life is precious to someone ❤❤❤
riding around in those hovercraft looks like so much fun!
It’s a buzz!
@@Sifinds i see what you did there lol.
Always look forward to Sundays to watch your channel & ms White's & Northern Mudlarks! Love you all!

19:36 is so touching, he melt my heart! Must have prepared it for some time and got it out right at the right moment! Sooooo sweeet.❤
He is a diamond!
Greetings from Ocala Florida. Keep up the amazing content. I am a part time picker who sells on eBay. I love the finds. your video's have helped me seek out items I would normally have passed by at yard sales/estate sales etc. Especially the old bottles.I look forward to Sunday for your video's. Cheers
Ah thanks my friend! 😊👍🏻👣🧡
Can't wait for the next one. Thanks 😊
Cheers Barb 😊👍🏻👣🧡
What a terrific upcycle.
Cheers Delores - tell yer friends!
I have had a lovely week here in London and got two extra days as my return flight was cancelled. Tomorrow one more lark before to go. You and Mark found awesome lots of bottles and jars. Maybe I should go next time to Medway. Thanks for a great video again.
Cheers Pirjo! 😊👍🏻👣🧡
Lol! If you ever want a good laugh, screenshot an item that a Mudlarker finds, ( as I just did with this Revolver), then use Google Lens in an attempt to identify it...Google Lens #1 Choice is; Grass Snake, #2;Lungworm, & #3; "Ehydrus." 😸 Nice finds!😊
Haha ridiculous!
Good one!
Another fun thing to do is turn on the closed- aptioning, especially when Si really gets started with his pals. The Closed-Captioning doesn't have a chance. 😁
Always handy to have a gun in the cistern , especially during toilet duck season 🍻
😊👍🏻👣🧡
Awww. Go ahead and drink or cook with your cider but save the bottle. That was so nice of Mark. Thanks Si. Cheers.
I will Annette. Cheers
Quite a few guns you have found. I was going to say , keep your finger off the trigger and never point a weapon at anyone you don’t intend to shoot.
Mark got some good finds. I love the hat. That’s a fantastic collection of bottles you two found.
Cheers Coni👍🏻🐾🧡
Sundays are just not the same without you Simon. I abso loved that little piece of treen, chefs kiss.
Cheers Jane 😊👍🏻👣🧡
Fun episode -- so much variety. LOVE the beer bottles -- a lovely gift! Awesome upcycle. Top-notch as always, Si!
Cheers Lisa! Yeah they are as cool as 😊👍🏻👣🧡
Mark's relabeled contemporary bottles were awesome! Back before I gave up alcohol (long story) I used to homebrew beer (it is a lot of fun and can be very creative -- like cooking) -- and I created my own labels, printed them and put them on the bottles (I gave most of my homebrew away) -- it's a lot of fun to customize the bottles....
Cool aren't they! 😊👍🏻👣🧡
Love the Baby Shark Hovercraft!
Looks like an early 1970s solid state radio, available by the thousands until about the late 70s. Had one myself for listening to radio Luxemburg.
What's the dial bit? Looked like an old fashjoned phone
Lovely to see Mark!
The incense burner was genius! Never saw that coming. Loved it! Keep up the great ideas. 🍾🍶🛡️
Another great vid Si See you at the weekend 👍👍
Cheers Andy! You too!
lovely lark and the incense burner, so clever!
What a cool thing you did to the bottle at the end.
Notice how Si is careful, when he says where lady's kept those "muff" guns.
Amazing up cycle. Another great Video.
Cheers Dortha👍🏻🐾🧡
Nice to see you back at it! I thought you were going to attach a really large corkscrew to the wooden bit, reattach the severed glass piece and fill the bottle with goop. Now that I’ve typed it, you did the right thing.
Haha. Cheers Eric!
😂
Pretty cool you get to keep the gun, and I love the up cycle
😊👍🏻👣🧡Cheers Iain
Thank you Simon. I've never heard of a joss stick so it took me a second to, oh incense burner, lol. I liked seeing the hovercraft loaded on to the trailer as well. :)
Cheers Leesa 😊👍🏻👣🧡
Thanks for sharing the information you have learned about guns, maybe this will save someone from an accident involving one. I love the "baby shark" what fun it must be to go where other haven't been very often. You ended up with a nice collection of bottles, and cork screw to go with them. Take care Simon, cheers!
Hi Simon, great seeing your gun finds. Crazy stories.😮. Never saw the incense burner up cycle coming. Looks great. Have a great week. Joyce/Connecticut 🇺🇸🙏❤️
Cheers Joyce! 😊👍🏻👣🧡
Hi Simon, such a great video . Interesting about the guns. Some really good bottles. Thank you.

Cheers Deb👍🏻🐾🧡
Thanks Si, another great video from guns to up-cycles. Incense holder was a super idea. Can't wait for "bottle heaven" video.
Cheers Debbie! 😊👍🏻👣🧡
Love the ink bottles and marmalade jars
That was really cool you had your own drink bottle. That was nice of Mark to do that for you. Seeing seals was really cool. I try not to let a summer go by without seeing at least one seal in our Pacific Ocean.
Loved your new incense burner. Great video!!😍🦭
Cheers Mudlover👍🏻🐾🧡
Thanks for video Si!
Cheers Tom👍🏻🐾🧡
You’re funny Si, I laughed when you saw your cider. and said the bloke on the label looked like you, and the squelch😂😂😂. It just tickled me.😀By the way, the guitar intro to your hover adventure always makes me happy. It reminds me of HHH.😊 Great video.
Cheers Lynne! Glad you liked it!
I really like your upcycling the bottle and bottle opener into the incense holder.
Sci, you are right to be cautious about pointing any gun towards people.
My step son was training to be a policeman. His sister wanted to know what he had learned that day. He accidentally killed her with his “ unloaded” service revolver.
That tragic mistake impacted so many lives. Guns are NEVER a toy.
Well said 😊👍🏻👣🧡
Glad to see you so happy
Cheers Juliane👍🏻🐾🧡
Love where you mudlark & what you find Sci 💥💥 Cheers from Mississippi ✌️✌️🇬🇧🇺🇸
Cheers Greg! 👍🏻🐾🧡
Great vlog, love Marks Shark❤

Wow, awesome hovercraft trip with lots of bottles n enjoyed the gun 🔫 story. Mark n Baby Shark 🦈 made our day . Today did a gender equality walkathon and enjoyed talking with the nation and international bodybuilding champion.

Three cheers for artists and upcycing !
Hip hip…
Great gun finds si you can see they been in the water for some time ,,
Fun adventure .Thank you for taking us along!
Your upcycle was very cool - great incense burner!
To get proper in the mood, I watched that episode from my bath this evening. I just stopped short of popping to the garden for a bucket of mud to chuck in to make it really authentic, but that would have been plain stoopid. 😁 Interesting update on the gun. A shame it wasn't genuine but still curious why it was wrapped in bags. 🤔 Perhaps it had been used to intimidate in a crime or something???? Nice little selection of finds with Mark though. All round groovy!!🤩
Cheers Anita, yeah it’s a proper little mystery
Great video as per usual loving this and all the great information you give. fab!
Thanks so much👍🏻🐾🧡
Oi oi, afternoon Si and all
Alright Mudlover! 👍🏻🐾🧡

Great video 👍 Some awesome bottle finds there.
Cheers Bill👍🏻🐾🧡
Nice finds, Si!
Cheers Daver👍🏻🐾🧡
Love watching your videos and seeing what you find......I've read the comments on here and know that it's been said a few times.....but PLEASE never put your finger on the trigger, or point a gun at anyone .....keep it pointed at the ground, away from yours or anyone around you, foot......sorry just putting my two penny worth in....I took up air gunning a little while ago and this was the first thing I was told....gun safety first at all times.....look forward to your next video......stay safe.....
Hey Si, Happy Babyshower! Cheers, mate!
Cheers Ingrid!👍🏻🐾🧡
Very cool use for the Patterson bottle! It must be great fun riding around in a hovercraft. Thanks for the smiles!
Cheers Hazel! Yes it’s awesome!
Guns are just so alien to us in the UK. Always point away. Great little bottle lark, I love the marmalade jars... just imagine them on my desk filled with pens for my stationery obsession 😅 great joss stick holder. The aqua blue of the bottles you find is just such a beautiful colour too. ❤
Cheers Alex - so true 😊👍🏻👣🧡
Hey Si! Love all the finds, and of course the seals! TFS Hugs!
Cheers Marg! 👍🏻🐾🧡
Thats all a awesome...love a good ole gun. My father collects old ones. And I so badly want a baby shark! Omg here in Florida I'd have a blast
Yeah imagine it on the Everglades!
i lived in Colnbrook for a couple of years, not far from Slough. You should check the river there outside the Ostrich Inn, where the pub owners killed a few people a long time ago, can't remember the river name though
The Coln !
Cheers Craig! I will do in the summer!
the mystery thing at 10:30 is a portable radio - my brother had the same one around 1979! i just had a google and couldn't find the exact one but there's a Sanyo one (RP8251) that looks quite similar but a lot fancier...
Love it, si 👍🏻🇬🇧
Cheers dude 🤘🏻
Great upcycle!
Cheers Janet👍🏻🐾🧡
Thanks for sharing all your gun finds Si. Some nice bottles as well 👍 I like the way you cut down the camp coffee bottle. Some steady hands 😉
Cheers Jim! Yes it looks more dangerous than it is - the blade doesn't have teeth 😊👍🏻👣🧡
What a time to find guns randomly, amazing find though. Love those bottles and all the other things you all found. Happy Days!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️💜
Cheers Susan! 👍🏻🐾🧡
Well done Si , amazing women kept guns in their muffs, might explain the barnacle's.
😂 How do you explain the bouy with crabs? 🍻
Cheers Dave!
Another fine video this weekend. The restoration of the bottles is always interesting. Nice partner this day. See you on the next, Si. Cheers mate! 😊
Cheers Martin 👍🏻🐾🧡
thanks for the gun update, always curious to know what happens afterwards… Love the bottle cutting, really like the angle on the patterson to make a little dish!
Cheers Nicole! Trying to work out if it will work on a regular cylindrical bottle now...
Handwarmer, thanks for clearing that up.
Love the upcycling part at the end of the video very kool indeed
Cheers!
@@Sifinds no worry sexy :)
@@Sifinds lol :)
I really had the hope you would attach the cork remover as a handle to the cutted top piece of the bottle and use it as a treasure box
Not sure how that would've looked
So many guns found in the waters of a country who has banned guns for decades 😮 crazy yet very cool 😃
The marmalade jars and the little inks are awesome!! I guess I've got two dream finds, if ever I'm authorized to mudlark in the British isles; an intact embossed Codd bottle and and an amazing intact written on stoneware ginger beer!!
Cheers Kaye. Yes both good finds to have up!
Thanks for the trip out with you, new pilot Mark and his "Baby Shark". They are very cool, but what happened to Steve ?
Thanks. Steve is having a hip replacement, so he’s out of the game for a while
Nice guns
The incense holder is a unique and fantastic idea!!! Looking forward to the next vid! 😻
