- How can I hike to Buckskin Gulch via Wirepass Trail is the question we had when we first found out about Buckskin Gulch. Follow us in this video as we set out early in the morning to hike Wirepass Trail to Buckskin Gulch, it was freezing at about 34 degrees Fahrenheit. The canyon was beautiful and the high walls crept higher as we hiked deeper into the canyon. Once we felt we had experienced enough we stopped for a quick lunch before turning around and heading back. The trip totaled around 7 miles and took us from 10am-3pm. If you ever have the chance I would definitely recommend doing this hike. Follow and Subscribe for more great RV, Travel, and Outdoor content. Have a blessed day.
I LOVE IT. The canyon in Utah is also in the computer screen shot. We use it.
Great!
On that note from the intro how do you guys keep warm during the cold?? I would love to watch a video on that!
We should defy add that to our list of videos we need to make. The short answer is we wear lots of layers and have a large sleeping bag in our bed. Also we cycle the rv furnace when it's especially cold.
Thats a cool hike. Did wire pass to white house in june of 16.
That's so cool, we want to go back and try that route at another time. How long did it take you?
Awesome video. Love the time outs with Tacoma along the way. Planning to do Wire Pass to the Middle Trail bail out solo (I think it's about 6 miles from Wire Pass) and then turn around. 12ish miles total. If the road is dry do you think a low clearance vehicle can make it to the trailhead?
Hey Nathan, sorry it took so long to reply. We have no service where we are boondocking. Tacoma is a goof, but liked that hike. I haven't heard about the wire pass to middle trail but it sounds interesting. Make a RUclips video and tag us, we would love to see your adventure. Be sure to check the weather before you go and have a great time :)
I think any car can make it if it isn't lowered.
Just out of curiosity?
I always wondered what music gets you guys from
Place to place & You guys should put up a play list.👍
Fyi just a thought, nothing more.
We will definitely put together a playlist of our traveling music. Thank you for asking. And usually it's alternative rock or country
@@rockinroamin1958 Thank you for the reply And can't wait. 👍😊 Much appreciated
Nice video. Planning to do this hike first week of June. How did you lower your dog down the ladder or you carried him?
Hey Edwin, he was a little nervous so Kenzie lowered him to the point that I could grab him and carry him the rest of the way. Only lower your pup if they have a body harness though. I hope you guys have a great time and let us know how it goes.
*Ps. I heard there is a detour to skip the ladder part but you will have to research it to find out more.
@@rockinroamin1958 Thank you guys as I mentioned I'm doing the hike the firs week of June with my daughter(7 years old) and our dog. Love your videos and by the way thanks for posting directions for Cutler Point.
When did you go? What month? Did you need a permit from BLM?
Hey Nick we went at the end of last month (Feb 2021). You do you need a permit it cost $6 per person when you get to the trailhead there is a little slip you can get with all the instructions. Sell signal is spotty though so I would buy the permit online the day before.
Here is the link to the website for buying the permit.

@@rockinroamin1958 Thank you for the info.
