depth aziri. come live over here, freedom really just depends on what state you live in!!! i live in southern california and i hate it but if you go to arizona or nevada they let you have a little more fun and i always jackin around in the desert. you see, people in the US say its free mainly because in the US everything is spread out and you dont have everything crammed together like you do in europe and when you live in more populated areas, thier are more laws and its easier to break them in a populated area. i also understand thier are countries like russia or mexico or even canada that are spread out but the US roads are more civilized then say mexico or russia. im glad i live in the US, everythings big and everythings comfortable thats why we govern the fattest people in the world LOL

It depends on the car's price. The shipping is 200$(with that you get insurance for the car when it's on the ship) so if something bad happens with the car, you get your money back. Also... Hmmm you live in the U.S. I heard that they're strict with cars that have the steering wheel on the right side...

Just search for Japanese car importers in your country
You have to pay for shipping, and you have to pay import taxes and register it, and get it inspected.
+The Star of China if you use a importer here the cars aren't cheap anymore. they will only sell at local market value.

Believe it or not but seeing such cars on the streets of Japan is a rare sight, most of these performance imports are seen at the track, at the workshop, meets or auctions/dealerships.

Good thing I don't have to import a Nissan Skyline GTR R34 to Canada there's so many sellers here local selling the Skyline R34 ranging from $15,000-$42,000 a bone stock R34 here is around 15-22 grand and they're legal to own and drive

Importing a JDM car to the US is not really expensive. around 900-2500$

arcticman117 You have to remember we also have a ban on any car that is younger than 25 years old. Anything that has come out after 1990 is off limits. A guy brought in a 1999 S15 recently and faced prison and a 250000 fine. I think he ended up with only 18k fine but served the jail time.
John Dunbar Yeah it sucks The S15 won't be legal for anything but show until about 2025. And by then the availability of the car will go down quite a bit. It's some dumb way to protect our automotive industry as well as our county fears drifting.
In the U.S. We also have a "Show and Display" rule, which you can import any car but you can only drive the car 2000 miles, and it's heavily enforced. :(

You've got that backwards: bikes in Japan don't get stolen because they don't like second hand items. Bikes in Japan don't get stolen because it's an enthically homogenous country with a well-oiled economy, so they have barely any crime in every aspect.

Great video! I used to live in Japan. Love your information. I moved to Japan, wanted to import our car we had in Japan, unfortunately it is much harder to get used Japanese cars into the US. (It is expensive and they must be modified to meet all DOT requirements, including miles on the speedometer, different lighting, etc. ... which can result in some really ugly modifications.
I went to one of these auctions when I was there. We had a friend who was an auction broker. We almost bought a car there.

Good luck, S13s are a rare sight in a somewhat good and unmolested condition. But when they do come to auctions in a high grade they are usually snapped up very quickly by collectors.
