Hard watch though. Netflix is more convenient, because you can watch it on your own time; versus the episodic way. Sometimes you're not in the mood for a watch with something of You's nature. Netflix makes You easier to digest.
I like YOU dont get me wrong but its not brilliant. Its predictable. I hadn’t finished the first episode of the second season when i had figured out the gist of the last episode. Glad it wasn’t cancelled, its twisted and i like it.

He spoke of her netflix original movie Annihilation and in depth thoughts about the profoundness of the role she is playing in Jane The Virgin. He continued on to say how their shows are very similar in topic and yet nothing alike. Her series is full of happiness and constantly moving plot lines which he thought would be fun to star in. I think we know who did not do their research.

I can see how frustrating it is for him to try and get his ideas across, because you can see his brain working a million miles a minute with ideas and deeper meanings that he cant keep up with himself. Its refreshing to see how passionate someone is about something they do. Love these two together

You can tell his face is not as round as when he was 19/in his early twenties. Face shape kind of changes when you're 30, cheek bones and jaw look more prominent, forehead seems larger...It makes sense.

This is actually a really interesting comment. I just watched the video and I sort of disagree. When he spoke, she let him finish his thoughts, she asked him in-depth questions about his craft and his on-going works. All in all, it feels like they switched places because in the beginning, he spoke more and in the second half, it was her turn. Where does your sentiment come from?

I know you probably didn't mean it but your comment shows the way our perception of one another is veiled by gender stereotypes. It is really scary how it is implemented in our brains as a society. You applauded Penn (as a man) for his articulation and let's call it "brains" while reducing Gina only to her looks as she is fulfilling her role as long as she looks presentable.

WOW this interview was unexpectedly brilliant.
I resented all the characters in You for the people they were. Seeing so many fawn over Joe and justify his actions was surprising, reminded me of how people reacted to Ted Bundy. The show was was interesting in that way, both the plot/characters and the audience’s interaction with them.
I like how Penn spoke about that, people’s odd and nonsensical willingness to forgive a guy that looks like him. He’s seems like a deep thinker
Completely agree, also the fact that they made all the characters inperfect in some way. How at some point you almost sympathise for Joe and think Beth is the bad one for not being a good girlfriend and not helping him to get better. Clever show
The book is awesome, it kinda adds some depth to the characters and you actually weirdly feel for Joe
