The second house really looks incredible. I especially love the big windows/doors which provide much sunlight. If I'm ever going to buy a house in Japan, it should be similar to this one
if I ever decide to live in Japan, I would definitely buy a house with direct access to the beach. Chiba and Kanagawa prefectures seem to be the best locations as well. very easy to reach Tokyo within 2 hours with the bullet train or car.
Guess the new American Dream: Buy an akiya house for cheap an remodel it in Japan.Or live in a ghetto, 1300 sq ft house in LA,SF,Seattle while paying at least 700k to 800k with an HOA.Decent area would be 1 million dollars or more.Unless you work in tech or work in the medical field, you are going to be house broke.
I moved to Vietnam. Got married here a year ago. And I’m happy here. But I wish I had done research on Japan. I might would have moved there who knows. It’s a beautiful country. I’m just on a limited budget. And don’t think I would have been able to afford living there.
