Thank you for inspiring me to declutter! Donated 48 pairs of shoes to the abused women's shelter. Some were still in the box. (So, embarrassing! ) I feel liberated. And the ladies had fun trying them on. Made my heart glad!

Went shopping couple of days ago and found just two pieces with French chic style and when going through those clothes, YOU, tiny Marie-Anne was sitting on my shoulder saying NON, only for those two pieces it was WOW. It is so awesome to have you with me shopping, so I don't buy anything frumpy and save my money for something so much better. Love you for that.

I use a bit of double-sided tape to hold my sling back shoes on the heel that stops them sloppy down.

I have a real passion for shoes!! In a past life, I might have been Imelda Marcos' kid sister. I have a wide variety including white oxford spectator chunky heels with almond toes & colorful laces that I change as well as caramel leather/suede/snake oxfords with colorful laces & 2-tone oxfords: blue/black/gray suede with different colored laces; eggplant/emerald green/chocolate brown suede with laces that I change. I love loafers: black round toe patent with fabric bow, chunky heel; red square toe with gold chain @ tip & wider heel. Black python monk's hood on low wide heel. I also have animal print, leopard stripe, python, black& white heels, black heels (2.5-3.25"), silver double-strap MJ & gold Sezane thicker heels with matching belts. I haven't worn stilettoes in decades, but a Chloe inverted heel (python)or a S. Weitzman lucite heel (sandal) or a 3.25" narrow 4-sided heel with an X in black fabric & the fuschia suede wedge excite me (Ferragamo black patent wedge is always tight). I have low-cut & high cut boots in leather, suede, python.
Boots don't excite me as much as shoes & sandals.

@@MarieAnneLecoeurThank you for the compliment. I think you have the sexiest legs when wearing slingback shoes. Your slingbacks are simply to die for. Sexy footwear makes up for a lot of things. Unfortunately, slingbacks slip off my feet or cause blisters on my heels. I've never been able to wear slingbacks like the stars of America's Golden Age 1930s-40s cinema. I also don't wear flats.

I disliked sling backs for the same reason, but I found a wonderful product on Amazon that solved the problem: Foot Petals strap cushions. They are thin and don’t show and keep that back strap where it should be. But I agree with you, even though we see sling backs even with winter fashions, I don’t care for them after weather turns cooler. Thank you for another great video! Even at 68 I have not lost my love of beautiful shoes and boots , and this video really helped me expand my styling options. I inherited my love of shoes from my late mother. Her philosophy was that stylish well made shoes can make inexpensive clothing look expensive… and cheap shoes can cheapen the look of expensive clothing. We were not wealthy (I’m still not😂) but like she did, rather than buy lesser quality shoes because they cost less, I look for sales on the better shoes. 😉❤️

Hi Marie-Anne, shoe lady here! I can’t wear sling backs either because they slip off my heels, not comfortable. I can’t wear pointed shoes as they squash my toes. I mostly wear round or almond toes. I watched your bunion video, the exercises were very helpful. By the way I love your blouse it’s very pretty 😍

Thank you for your wonderful explanation of shoe style and design. It sometimes takes me longer to make the correct choice of shoe for my outfit than putting my outfit together 😫 I hope now I can find it easier as it is extraordinary how a shoe can change your whole outfit. I too love sling back shoes and have the same problem with the strap slipping off. I have found the lower the heel seems to help. Also if there is a small amount of elastic on the back strap may work. I think I have loved shoes since I was a small child. I would sometimes refuse to take them off when I had to go to bed as I loved them so much 😂😊💖Best wishes Sally S🇳🇿

Shoe shoe shoe lady!!! Love shoes!!!🤗Love boots and sandal too🤣🤣 I love your snake skin look boots Marie-Anne they are beautiful! I think something similar may be joining my wardrobe soon! When I was a teen I could dance and even run in stiletto's! Oh those were the days😏 I always wear leather shoes / boots for everyday and my evening shoes tend to be material like the silky look or velvet ...I have a pair of navy knee length stiletto boots in velvet with burgundy piping just on the seem💘!! I can get away with stiletto boots but I can't really wear stiletto shoes anymore 😭( I'm happy that kitten heels are in I can wear those!)

I have a size 5 shoe size narrow in US sizing. Where can I find small stylish shoes? I’m also a size 0 and very petite if that helps and age 63. I don’t like frumpy chunky and agree with your statement about the trends for petite women not wearing them to be out of proportion! You have such great style and tips! Thank you for the time and energy put forth in your videos! Love your little shoe cubbies designed behind you too! I’m currently revamping my closet and love the inspiration you give to display those beautiful shoes and bags to wear them!❤

I just checked and American Duchess starts their shoe sizes at US 5. They don’t have official narrow but I find some of their styles very narrow for my foot. You might find something you like.

They may get overwhelmed by Wide Leg Connie better with bootcut and great with straight leg 😃

oh how I wish I could wear pretty shoes with heels. My bunions and wide feet just won't co-operate. I do so sympathise with the ladies who have the same problems. I bought some nice nude medium heels from Calla and could just about walk in them around the bedroom but when It came to going downstairs it was no go. I will keep practising but will only ever be able to wear them if I only have to walk a short distance - say into a restaurant or theatre. But my life involves a lot of walking about so I mostly wear trousers or jeans with flat wide fit shoes. I'm going to give Sole Bliss a try though and see if they have some nice ballet flats. Hi Marie, very interesting presentation of shoes. Must admit that I do admire those snake heels and boots. Very very elegant and timeless. There are a bi color loafers witha a small problem. Personally I do find the black heel on bi color shoes not matching. I do prefer the heel the same color as a Liafer. 3 colors on a loafer are too much forme. It may pass on dark blue, brown or black, all the other colors are forme unacceptable.

Bonjour Pat, thank you for your comment. I make these livestreams as there are very many in the French Chic Community who have very little contact with others and this is a way to spend more time with them. It also gives me a chance to fully answer questions that arise during the discussion on the topic in hand and I never like to disappoint people who go to the trouble of asking questions. 😃 There is no need to watch the video all in one go and if you don't want to miss the dialogue which you enjoy you can pause the video and come back to it when you have the chance 😃 it really is just like sitting down and having a cozy chat with a friend 😃 think of it like that and maybe the time will fly by 😘 I hope you will keep watching. An alternative is to play it on say 1.25 speed by using the settings below the screen (click the cog wheel and select speed) at 1.5 I may look a bit manic😉
Personally, I find her livestream videos to be the perfect length, because I save them for my one-hour walk on the treadmill. 😊
I second that and agree .....Marie-Anne does make shorts maybe that would suit you better. Also there are transcripts if u prefer ....I think the video lengths are perfect as they are and the chats and pearls of wisdom worth every minute.
Shoes are my big problem. I have 43 size and shops in my country sells women's shoes to 42. I'm happy when I find something what is not for men. So I can't be picky.
