I love that movie! 😍🥰 all sandra bullock movies especially romantic movies are soooo phenomenal..! 🤩🤩 she's one of my favorite actress, also Reese Witherspoon..🤩🤩
I absolutely LOVE this movie; it’s my favorite!! Sandra and Ryan have great chemistry, and Betty (RIP queen) is such a gem. There were some hilarious Gammy moments you skipped over in the beginning that made me cackle. I just don’t know how any rom com can beat this movie lol…and I never get the feeling that this movie “aged poorly” over time. And if it did? Compared to other older movies, it is NOT that bad.
I love this movie *_SO MUCH_* that I have literally watched this movie, finished it, and watched it again an hour later because I wasn't ready for it to end and couldn't find anything even comparable to watch next
The eagle eating the puppy thing is definitely real. I live in MI, and had a terrier who was just under 20lbs. I was told to watch him when he went out to go to the bathroom at night because owls can pick up anything under 20lbs to eat. Now owls and hawks wouldn't WANT to eat my dog cuz he's at their weight limit, but if they couldn't find anything else, they'd go for him.
As a woman I've never had any issues with the wy Margaret is portrayed. As far as the coworker at the end saying, "Show her whose boss Andrew!", that to me reads more as she's our actual boss and a hard *ss at that. So to me it feels like a nod to that. I love this movie. Even with the time frame in the movie being as short as it is. I think it's more believeable because they've worked together for a while, so at least Andrew knows Margaret pretty well even though she doesn't know him very well. This is by far my favorite rom-com.
"Eets wash-n-wear!" Watch Sandra's face when he says that. Shes dying laughing. It took them several takes to get that scene bc the two kept cracking up. It's my favorite line.
Thanks for the reaction. My wife and I love this movie. So many great actors and characters. Betty White is a gem as usual. Craig T. Nelson is always a joy to watch. And Oscar Nunez really stole the show. Also enjoyed the chemistry between the leads. Only Malin Åkerman was underused and actually as a character not necessary for the plot. I especially found the interrogation scenes funny - I'm married almost 20 years and probably couldn't answer all questions correct Mr. Gilbertson, the immigration agent asked.
Ryan Reynolds is awesome in everything, but Waiting… and Just Friends is on another level. I actually got to meet him back in 2005 at an Alanis Morissette concert in New Orleans, he was great!
I love this Rom-Com and for my mom this became her go to sleep movie. My mom had 2 movies she loved watching right before going to bed or to help her go to bed. She always loved this movie and Burlesque with Christina Aguilera these were movies she played and watched the shit out of lmfao. So I know both those movies very well 😅😂 I’d say the only problem I have with this movie is that I wish it was longer lol I mean you got a full cast that’s great. And Sandra Bullock and Ryan Reynolds were a movie couple I didn’t know I needed and they’re both Canadians lol Ryan is just winning at life lol he’s got Blake Lively as his real wife and Sandra Bullock as his acting wife. lol he’s just killing it! ❤
The crazy thing is I never gave this movie a chance at all until I watched it for the first time over a year ago and I actually enjoyed it and liked it more than I expected to. It's such a good movie.
This movie is my favorite Ryan Reynolds joint lol This movie was so good to me when I was younger. I thought Sandra and Ryan did a great job together. I laughed through the whole thing. I still quote the "window to the wall scene" and I was so close to naming my goldendoodle puppy, Kevin lol, RIP Betty White
Random, but if you really like romcoms, I HIGHLY recommend the series Love to Hate You, Her Private Life, Bo-ra!Deborah, and for a comedy with romance, Welcome to Waikiki
At 15:33 when you said, “Guys, you gotta learn how to swim…” it reminded me when I was a little boy, my dad always had me wear a life jacket when we would go water skiing or fishing. I said, “why do we need to wear them? We know how to swim…” Dad said to me, “Yes, but if there’s an accident, and you get knocked unconscious, knowing how to swim won’t do you any good because you could fall in the water being knocked unconscious and may vey well drown.” I was six or seven at the time when this discussion took place. And to this day, my mentality is there’s no shame in wearing a life jacket or vest. Even if you’re Michael Phelps.

This movie is very close to my heart because it helped me through a really hard time in my life. I’m autistic as well as having mental health issues and this was my hyperfixation when my depression was at an all time high.
