That saying originally was British propaganda in WW2 to keep secretiveness, "Careless talk costs lives". Loose talk in relationships can hurt people too.
Welcome back Chad. Glad to be in marathon mode again and am looking forward to the two songs you have lined up, when they're unblocked. Really like this song. Very smooth and gentle vocals from Barry.
Chad, we've missed you. Hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving with your family. Don't worry about a late start to our marathon weekend. We will be extra patient for "Immortality" and "Still Waters Run Deep" to make their debut on your wonderful channel. As always, Chad, a great reaction to a great Barry lead from "This Is Where I Came In". Looking forward to what you have in store for us next!
I have watched the "making of" video for "This is Where I Came In" in the last couple of days, and they talked about how they wanted to keep creating and working. It is very sad to think they didn't get to do that together.
Missed you Chad. Glad to have everyone back here. I like the relative simplicity of the vocals and instrumentation, and I agree with you, the lead guitar juxtaposed against the flowing - I'm thinking delicate and gossamer - melody make this so interesting. It's Alan, it's just always Alan and his brilliance. My favorite line is "You Can Feel My Candle Burn." Now that paints a picture for me. I don't listen to "This Is Where I Came In" enough. "Just one mo, just one mo." To answer your question...faith and admiration have to be felt by both parties. It can't fall to only one person. Then things can work.
Thank you Chad and I'm so glad you're back. You've been missed. I love this song and yes, Barry made this tune so silky smooth. He's a living legend and we get to enjoy hearing his melodic and unique voice.
Beautiful song as usual... Never heard this one but with Barry singing I love it... ! I can listen to just about anything the Bee Gees do! Glad you're back Chad. Hope you had a great Thanksgiving with your family!!!
Pretty song. As you say smooth. We missed you and worried about you. Next time you are gone please say something on the community page. I was afraid you or your daughter were sick. You have become part of our family. Now I know I sound like an old mother hen. Can't help it. I am glad you had a good time with your family. I did also. I am looking forward to hearing Immortality and Still Waters run deep. Welcome back.
Hi Chad, missed ya, welcome back. Thanx for all the work you do. I always look forward to the bee gees w/ends. But, everyday is a bee gee day for me. I agree when you find the "ONE" you're meant to be with. I was married at 19. People said " too young, it won't last" ( especially with the 7 year age gap). We just celebrated our 41st "Wedding day " anniversary in August
Hi, Chadman, so good to have you back! One of the songs, showing Barry's ability to use and change his voice to different themes. And in an effortless way, too. On a bootleg-album (1970, Barry Gibb, 'Kids No Good') there's a song, called 'Clyde O Reilley'. It's to find on YT and I'll tellya, it's wild and weird but also phantastic!
Hi Peter. It is good to have everyone back. In a couple of your reactions you mentioned Dennis Bryon's book. I ordered if for myself yesterday. I saw an excerpt online regarding Barry talking to Dennis about the "Stayin' Alive" drum loop, and even though he was excited about it, gave Dennis a choice of redoing the drum track. Dennis ended up adding some cymbal fills. He thought maybe some toms too, but didn't like the sound. I am excited to get the book.
@@janicetrimmell6897 Hello, Janice. And yes, it's really comfortable, here on Chad's channel, to all of us. I'm glad, you'll soon get' Dennis' book. He's a fine guy, talked with him after a concert of 'Italian Bee Gees' (also three brothers), where he's been playing as gueststar. Together with Blue Weaver and Vince Melouney. Year after year (except that silly corona-times), this coverband is touring in Germany, filling halls up to 5.000! Don't know any coverband, gettin' such audiences. Oh Janice, I'll promise you, that book is so interesting and well written. Gives so many inside-views and has not one simple page, which is boring. You can see a drummerboy, growing up and making his way. So enjoy it!
@@isabellabourchier3498 True! Think, the backlash wasn't in his mind so he wrote nothing about it. Was hanging like a hammer over the heads of the brothers. They must have been very tranqualised and shocked.
Glad your back Chad...BEE GEES🥰😊😍 Love the words they use in their wise songs...like Bodyguard. Love this album...well, everything they do ❤ Thank you for sharing it and as always, great reaction👏👏
A big welcome back Chad! Sorry you were blocked. Many thanks for update. You're terrific! New song for me. Enjoy Barry's message and vocals in this song 🎵

Welcome back Chad. Glad to be in marathon mode again and am looking forward to the two songs you have lined up, when they're unblocked. Really like this song. Very smooth and gentle vocals from Barry.

Hi Chad! One of my favourites from their sadly final studio album!! 💙

Dennis’s book is a great read. Sad the way he said his involvement ended.
