My hope is to bring Harri and others some hidden gems the Bee Gees had post disco era. Most Bee Gee fans know the early days and disco era. However, during the 80's & 90's, the Bee Gees produced some great stuff too. More to come.👍
Yes, that crescendo! Robin hitting those high notes @7:04....WOW. Maurice is great at the high notes as well. Guitarist Alan Kendall was with them for about 20 years. Lovely harmonies throughout, each brother terrific. You cut off Maurice and Robin's dancing duet at the very end. 😂 "Fallen Angel" is a Robin lead that is quite uptempo compared to his usual ballads and "She keeps on coming" is another. Thank you for the reaction.
Thank you Imadrummin for this fantastic suggestion 👍🤩🙏 Thought I knew all Bee Gees songs, but this has slipped my ears 🤔🤨😊 and Thank you Harri for a fantabulios reaction
Thank you Agnete. My hope is to bring Harri and the others some hidden gems the Bee Gees had after the disco era. Most Bee Gee fans know the early days and disco but the 80's & 90's, they had great stuff too. More to come.👍
Im a big fan of all the Bee Gees, but so often, they elevate their lover in the lyrics to an idol & supreme reason for living. Only Jesus can give the true kiss of life. Love your reaction Harri! Yes, their harmonies never get old & Robin's voice is heavenly!❤❤❤
Each gibb brothers had their own unique talents.... voice... songs composing ability.. instruments playing... live performance...wow. 🎉❤😊 no words... amazing
From the 1993 album, " Size Isn't Everything", this is a great tune with Robin's crystal clear vocals on the lead with some uplifting synthesizer backing. The lyrics depict a tumultuous relationship and a desire for a second chance. I'm here for the kiss of life implies someone hoping the relationship can be repaired. A wonderfully upbeat number with an infectious melody, the beautiful vocals by Barry and Robin and the quintessential Bee Gee harmonies that sweep your heart away. Amazing instrumentation complete this lovely song. Great reaction Harri. Thanks Harri and Imadrummin. 👏👏 Cheers from Canada 🇨🇦
@kthor Thank you. When I was rereading it to send, I knew I should add Barry, but didn't do it. Definitely deserves the credit. When you're 71... 👍✌️🎶🇨🇦
Love all eras of the Bee Gees & another great song by them! Robin & Barry are both credited on lead with Mo coming in for those beautiful harmonies. Their guitarist Alan Kendall had been with them since 1972, so for almost 30 years. He also worked with Barry on his solo LP's. Please listen to a lead by Mo, Closer Than Close. Thanks!
Imadrummin - Knowing you, I'm guessing you saw the Bee Gees late 90's concert that was shown on PBS. Celine Dion made an appearance and they sang their song "Immortality" with her. These later Bee Gees tunes remind me so much of the Eagles later work; they possessed the same quality writing, production and sound, but their audience had changed and we weren't going to see #1 hits and albums from them any longer. Great selection and reaction -- thanks fellas!
I have "One For All" and "One Night Only" concerts. One Night Only had Immortality. Funny story, I remember when I was growing up, people I hung out with said "it wasn't cool" to like the Bee Gees. Bunch of rockers you know. Even though I was a rocker too, I didn't care to admit what a huge Bee Gees fan I've been. Ahhh, those strange looks. 😀I plan on sponsoring more songs from this era. Thanks for the shout out pncombies. You are a class act brother.
Imadrummin - I graduated HS in the late 70's and I remember Travolta being on the sitcom "Welcome Back Kotter". I liked the Bee Gees pre-disco stuff but when they released "Jive Talkin", I wasn't a fan. I didn't like it! Like you I was a rocker. We could legally drink at 18 in Texas in my senior year of HS. So, I celebrated my 18th birthday at a new disco bar called the *White Rabbit", and it was there that I had my first legal drink. Prior to Saturday Night Fever's release the disco scene was taking off and disco clubs started popping up all over Austin. It was swank and it had built-in backgammon cocktail tables, but we weren't fans of that scene. That said, that's where all the girls were. Still though, me and my boys remained staunch rockers! So, a couple years later after my first year in college I took a two-week vacation to CT to visit my grandmother, my cousins, uncles and aunts. My parents were from the same hometown but left there after my dad got his wings and his commission. My uncle had cottages on Block Island, RI. It's an East coast summer destination and 10 miles off the R.I. coast. I had been there twice before when I was 8 and 12. After a week on the mainland we boarded a ferry for Block Island. It was a Friday night in July and I was walking around the town with my 12-year-old cousin when we came upon the island movie theater. It was more like something you'd see in a war movie that has been set up for the troops. Guess what was playing? Yep...SNF! So far from Texas: no one would ever know if I went. 😂 Way too long a story short, we went and we loved it. Afterwards I jokingly told my young cousin that he had to vow to keep it a secret or he would be sleeping with the fish! 😂
Barry had different layers if voice ... Robin had his unique vibrato... Maurice had his deep sexy voice...wow talented Gibb brothers 🎉❤ forever musician ❤❤
Great reaction Harri 💜 I couldnt wait for you to hear this one and see the fun video! Barry had to move over to another mic when Robin left him and went by Mo to sing together💜 Then at the end they both dance - that part always gets cut short! They are always having a good time like brothers and sometimes not but their love for each other comes through esp in the beautiful music❣️ keep going in the later years 90's the still waters album was so good ! The Carol King cover of "Will you still love me Tomorrow" is fantastic -you will Love it 😍 thanx Harri Take Care 💜
@@kthor , just heard The Bee Gees song “will u still love me tomorrow”. Always had liked the Shirelles original version but The Bee Gees is perfection!
Right at the very beginning, Robin, leans over and whispers something to Mo; then 1/2 way through he lifts up a big card and the guitar solo comes in as if on cue; Barry looks surprised and joyful; right at the end Robin crosses to the keyboard to finish his vocals and Mo dances with his twin. Anyone get the impression they may have added something extra to the mix without telling someone?
The sign Robin held up said REALLY LOUD if anyone was wondering. It's too bad they cut the video because Maurice grabs Robin and they start dancing, just a fun thing to watch.
From back when the magic still lived.
Robin Gibb ' voice UNTIL ETERNITY!
"Mr Natural" is another one that is forgotten. Try this one out. Slower, but just lovely.
This is one of the rockingest songs they have done. I just love it!
Robin was featured often on their early hits, also worth checking out.
I love I started a joke and Massachusetts...all their voices were magical together but his voice had such a mesmerizing quality ❤❤
Great request Imadrummin!!🌺✌️
Well, thank you my dear Debbie Chang. Hope all is well your way. 😀👍
I'm a big fan of the album "Size Isn't Everything." This is a great one from that album. The chord progressions are just crazy. Love it.
I agree. Size is defitely a top album for me too.
I can’t stopped my teas
The Bee Gees will never be
Forgotten
They are one of my favorites
ban of all time

My favorites from this era are for whom the bell tolls and alone but there are so many great songs over their career it's hard to pick just one.
Thank you for bringing these gems to us. Particularly the Robin gems.❤ I'm a fan, can you tell. 😊
@@patriciatolliver4057 Always nice to hear from others that share the same view. Thanks for watching Patricia.👍
Patty-I think that's a great idea. Each decade, they bring us a new side of their abilities.
I’ve enjoyed Barry’s album “in the Now”. Some good stuff on it.
I love this song. They were phenomenal. The vocal progressions in this are magnificent. ❤
Robin Gibb voice is the greatest
Not one I remember but the Bee Gees could sing anything and I would love it. Thanks Ima and Harri.
Thank you Cynthia. I plan to sponsor more Bee Gees from this era. 👍✌

There an amazing live performance of SHE KEEPS ON COMING on Live By Request. Hope Harri reacts to it!!
It's those beautiful harmonies from The Bee Gees that get me every time!
You and I are thinking alike on this Harri, thanks for sharing.
What i'm allways say every Song by the Bee Gees is a surprice ❤❤❤

Great review. One of my favorite bands. Every one thinks diso . Not always
This is one of my favorite videos - them in the studio - looks like they are having fun.

@Imadrummin No, thank you. Lol Great pick Imadrummin. 👍✌️🎶🇨🇦
Thank you for this great reaction! And it's credited to Barry & Robin both on lead vocals.

Another song i live. Thank for your great reaction. Have you reacted to I could not love you more, Living Eyes or Wedding Day ❤❤❤
You might not agree but my favourite voice and Bee gee Maurice ❤
This is one of my favorite videos and one of my top 5 songs by them. They're awesome together.

Always preferred Robin's voice and tone - but that's just me! The Bee Gees are special.
Just beautiful ❤️!
❤ Robin

BeeGee is the best song
This is one of my top favorites from the Bee Gees!
I have never heard this. Thank you to whoever recommended it and thank you to Harri for reacting to it.
Wasn’t familiar with this song but like it! Could you react to The Bee Gees “Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow”. Robin’s voice is also featured there.
That's such a beautiful song.....with first verses by Barry then all 3 on chorus, then Robin singing last verse then chorus again!🥰
@@kthor , just heard The Bee Gees song “will u still love me tomorrow”. Always had liked the Shirelles original version but The Bee Gees is perfection!
Never heard this song ,but it's the Bee Gees. It's great!
Pity this vid didn't stay on long enough to see mo and Robin dancing off together - the twins were hilarious together!
Harry, you look like Barry White ,one member of the Legendary group Earth, Wind and Fire
Hahahahha i get that all the time..Maurice White...the lead singer not Barry 😀
Right at the very beginning, Robin, leans over and whispers something to Mo; then 1/2 way through he lifts up a big card and the guitar solo comes in as if on cue; Barry looks surprised and joyful; right at the end Robin crosses to the keyboard to finish his vocals and Mo dances with his twin. I agree that Robin 's voice was so unique.. however, Barry 's falsetto was the trade mark of the Bee Gees...no one had his falsetto...
