    • @terranceclark8328
      @terranceclark8328 Год назад +4

      Eyyy that's what I did
      I just set up my old laptop that has a broken screen using win to go, I couldn't use any other mean due to the fact that it needs drivers from windows updates to control the VGA and HDMI ports for some reason, along with the fact that the screen is busted and I can't see anything
      It's kinda here now, I call it a local (home) server, although it's just windows 10 with OpenSSH along with RDC for remote connection, so that I don't need an external monitor while being able to transfer files wirelessly via WiFi
      Not entirely sure on how secure it is, or how to secure it further, but hey, at least I got this running xD
      I used it this day to test run a 'local' multiplayer game using ZeroTier and it works wonders. My current laptop doesn't have to suffer being the server host and being a client connecting to it at the same time, causing tons of fps drops TwT
      I kinda wish I can disable the screen though to save more on electricity, but eh maybe I'll figure it out in the future, or maybe I'll just remove the screen entirely considering it's near useless
