    For me, surrender brings panic and feelings of unsafety, as well as the idea that if something happens I don't be ready to run.
    Thank you for offering such a gentle explanation, especially the part about soothing yourself.

    I'm not a meditator (I'm Christian), so I am finding resistance to just go and meditate endlessly,....as I don't do anything without knowing why....ho, ho....when what I want to know is how to shake the PTSD out of my body, as an HSP person... So I'm watching what you're doing here to glean the answer. I'm seeing you discuss surrender here...then go to your yoga mat there.... So I think I have my answer.
