I knew Grace embodied greatness the moment I saw her on Reddit 4 years ago. She can really play all the nuances with extraordinary confidence and humility. She makes ithe music her own, yet knows whose shoulders she stands on and carries the musical torch so elegantly. I am not surprised to see her on JK, and I'm sure this appearance will give her a big big bump. Go Grace!
When you mix Funk with a little Soul and top it off with a dash of Rock & Blues ya get Grace full throttle. Nothing is gonna stand in her way!! Go gettum!!
yeah ive been playing for longer than all yall and the young ladies were crushing it too. This young woman Miss Bowers is one of the best guitar players today.
Congratulations Grace! I first saw Grace just last year at the Crossroads Guitar Festival, and I was really impressed. Not surprised to see her star continue to rise. Also, way to go whoever books the music acts for this show.
Old rocvker here that likes all styles WE NEED SOME FUNK AND SOUL RIGHT NOW! Amazing stuff!!!!!!!!!!!!! Ive been locked up in my room studying guitar for decades and Grace Bowers has the magic in her fingers and is better than all the men i know including myself and shes been playing for a short time and shes better than most pros that have been doinf it for decades. She will be one of the greatest guitar players ever mark my words. She feerls the music she doesnt just play notes and thats soething some people dont get and you can hear it in her playing. This is a legend in the making just watch,
Agree. There are a lot of technically proficient young people on Tik Tok replicating the work of other people. She's playing at a world class level with the greats of all time. Making choices in melody and feel that are not "copying" anything, but referencing stuff that she's barely had time to download into her brain. It's mystifying.
Catching Up, finally found your appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live on RUclips after losing power Monday night. Indeed the Golden Queen of the Guitar, in the past 60yrs. I've seen some of the greats and what I saw on Jimmy Kimmel Live just confirms what I've seen of your performances the past three yrs. Just play it Grace......🎸
The golden queen of guitar, first time I saw her I knew she was destined for really big things! I feel so proud of her!!!! She aces that axe as she had been playing for decades...
Same here! First time I saw her she was sitting in her room just jamming and I was blown away of her ability to play like she'd played for a couple decades already!
First time ever hearing her play, linked from a GW article. Really like the note choices in the solo, and that slow, sparse beginning makes that flurry afterwards very surprising. Cool stuff! Also I love the vocals
I cannot beleive Grace the guitar player just turned 18 and only picked up the guitar during the pandemic. She is self taught and a natural when it comes to playing guitar. She plays in the local Nashville clubs all the time. I have been playing for over 40 years and I am not 1/4 of her playing ability.
I've been going to see live Concerts since 1975. I've seen many Greats, including Eric Clapton, Eddie Van Halen, BB King, Slash, Dave Ghrol, Jack White, so many guitar Greats. Grace Is in that elite Group. For Sure
I'm happy to see how far she's gone since the small clips on Reddit. I just hope the industry doesnt chew her up an spit her out. Keep her off the drugs and with good company.
Grace you are def a great player don’t listen to the critics just keep on playing that guitar 🎸 age has nothing to do with it aged playing does practice love of the instrument
It's a very interesting concept for a band. They have a guitarist who looks like Jimi Hendrix-he's even left-handed-but the real shredder is a teenage girl who looks like a country singer.
First time I saw Gracie she was posting from her little room in Nashville. Just a child and her rig, taking lessons practicing practicing practicing relentlessly, no sponsors, no nothing. I've never seen her dip - just a steady rise. Nashville is a very hard nut to crack. She did it, riding nobody's coat tails. *The Road Is Yours, Kid! *
Just watched Grace Bowers and the Hodge Podge on Jimmy Kimmel with Goldblum hosting & was actually very surprised I enjoyed this group very much. Grace can play guitar with such excellence I wonder if she practiced with the late Jimmy Hendrix in her rehearsing. Happy to see another woman guitarist like Heart in a group. Would love to see Grace play THE STAR SPANGLED BANNER, exactly like Jimmy had, those many years ago. It was America 🇺🇸 then. Don't know what the country is anymore. Love ❤️ Peace ✌️ and harmony ✨️!
Started playing at 9 after seeing Slash. Did tik tok videos of her practicing during covid. Started hitting clubs to jam with literally anyone. Hard work and dedication.

Watching her play rifs on the rooftop, there was something there even back then.
@@vsavoldi yup, she's truly cursed , 🤩but sp far. sp good.

Great retro sound and structure to this music.
That guitarist is PHENOMENAL! 😱🥂
That’s Grace
The best guitarist on that stage is Prince Parker by far
Great music, amazing vocals and band !
I've been a fan since the RPAN days! Congrats!
SINGGGGG ESTHER!
Wow, she’s good. Noticed that the font on her album looks like Prince’s 1999. It’s like he’s blessing this funk vibe and electric guitar. 💟
Very classy and great music. Thumbs up!
My cousin playing the drums hey!!!!! GO head Dekar!!!! 812 represent

First time ever hearing her play, linked from a GW article. Really like the note choices in the solo, and that slow, sparse beginning makes that flurry afterwards very surprising. Cool stuff! Also I love the vocals

She's amazing.
Cuz that's not true, she started playing guitar at 9 and played until she was 13, then came back to it when the pandemic hit.
DAMN!! Amazing guitar solo!!! Wooooh!!! 🎸
I've been going to see live Concerts since 1975. I've seen many Greats, including Eric Clapton, Eddie Van Halen, BB King, Slash, Dave Ghrol, Jack White, so many guitar Greats. Grace Is in that elite Group. For Sure

Getting Frank Zappa vibe from her playing. Outstanding!
Just ordered the new album today I got the green vinyl version... Now I got a reason to play my record player🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉😅
I'm happy to see how far she's gone since the small clips on Reddit. I just hope the industry doesnt chew her up an spit her out. Keep her off the drugs and with good company.

I was here from RPAN!!!
♥♥♥
I generally never think much of the late night show's band introductions.
Not this time!
I'll definitely be looking up this hot group.
Cool to see Grace get known. Too bad she didn't do Madame President.
Prince would have LOVED her. She's great. Refreshing.
Grace is amazing but so is her entire band! And special shout out for the "Lefty Strat Guy" Prince Parker!
I found them a little while back on Spotify and love them.
Nice, glad to hear a new to me, band that would make The Mud smile, since they're putting some "unk" in funk.
Very nice. Can't believe she hasn't been playing that long.
That young Jimi Hendrix can sure smoke a strat!
Prince Parker
Dekar hitting those skins!
WOOW
👏👏
I see you, Dekar! 💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼
👏
IMO this band is great because EVERYONE is great. Not a single weak link
Whoa. She knows what makes an SG an SG for damn sure. Thank you Algorithm - and Grace. Alright, thank that goofball, Kimmel, too ;-)
VOTE is how u do that.

Always love me some Jeff Goldblum.
Dang, since when did I not hear a nice WhaWha❤.
Dekar on the drums is Him
❤❤❤😊😊😊!!!
As 60-year old, I hope I live long enough to read her biography. How did she happen?
Started playing at 9 after seeing Slash. Did tik tok videos of her practicing during covid. Started hitting clubs to jam with literally anyone. Hard work and dedication.
Let’s go Dekar…812 Stand Up
Dale Right Grace
It’s like she was raised by Dereck Trucks, Buckethead and Prince
Too good for Kimmels s-show
Jesus. Kid be comin' up! The future of blooze/rock is in good hands methinks.
Love the blonde guitar great
