I feel so old, a lot of the music she’s playing, I have seen in concert during the 70’s, now this young girl has taken it to a whole new level, she’s definitely going places with her own style of playing.
I have a 17 year old granddaughter who while she's an artist, she's not a musician. But her demeanor reminds of her. I'm a guitarist for over 50 years. So I appreciate good musicians . Good luck my dear.
You are an amazing inspiration. At 17 to have the depth and soul of the blues gives this old picker some hope for generations to come. Peace be with you
I first saw a video posted on Reddit of Grace playing guitar a couple years ago. I knew that she was talented back then but now she is phenomenal. I truly hope she has an amazing career and I can't wait to start hearing original songs from her.
I knew when she said she heard BB and that got her interested, she was gonna be a star. 17 and she's rockin a 61 SG already. That is so awesome. First time I ever heard of her. Wishing you a great long and successful career Grace. Just the fact that you mentioned BB, Carlos, and Joe tells me I'm a fan of yours already. Cheers young lady.
It is awesome that you got this opportunity and I am envious something I always wanted to do and how knowledgeable you are at 17 I am 62 I hope you follow your dreams and flourish. We need to keep the blues alive and always pay if forward as you just mentioned you did stay true to your heart and you will do great things. ❤
I was no where near that mature at 17. I love the fact that she knows her history and appreciates the legends of the blues, and plays P90’s. I look forward to hearing more from her.
Wowww Grace is such a naturally gifted guitarist, a breath of pure, fresh air and a grounded young lady. I sincerely hope she goes onto musical greatness and truly establishes herself, in the world 🌎 of blues, blues-rock music. 👏🤞🙏🤟🎸🌟
I've been following Grace for a while. It's awesome watching her get better by leaps and bounds. She was born for this. I swear I hear Roy Buchanan reincarnated sometimes.
I love her back story. When I first read it, I thought I was reading my own start with a guitar. Needless to say, my road took a much different turn, and I never found my potential. But I still love the guitar. And I think she is great.
I am so happy for you and excited that the emerging generation has so much talent and love for past interests (Blues, rock and roll, actually any music from the past, I love classical as well and the sound of horns and violins/fiddles etc) it is where we came from. Absolutely no doubt. I will be following 🙂
So cool to see the younger generation appreciate and carry on the tradition of the blues. I didn't pick up the guitar until I was 17, she is way ahead of the curve talent wise!
I stumbled upon Grace a few years ago on accident and was just blown away by the obvious talent and potential. It has been so fun to see her career progress and now take off. She is my favorite younger player these days. Go, Grace, Go!
What a gifted young guitarist, plus such caring for the Covenant School to have immediately put together a benefit for them. She is a quality individual all around.
I follow her on Instagram. The first time I heard her play I knew she was going to be the next great guitarist. I really hope to see her become that one day but at this rate it's inevitable.
For just 17, this girl has got some crazy awesome equipment! Soldano, Boogie, Fender, Gibson? Man! Where did I go wrong in my younger days? Oh, yeah, right. I grew up in the 80's. That shit never happened back then. Totally Jelly! Worked all year as a dishwasher at 13 years old, to save up, and buy a Carvin 50W half stack. Man, times have changed. Best wishes to you Grace Bowers. Beautiful name. Beautiful face. Beautiful game! Just keep doing what you love most. You are in the scene. Best to you! Forever! XOXO!
I first heard her on Reddit livestream nailing Stevie Ray Vaughan, Marc Bolan/T.Rex, and Eric Clapton licks. She's been growing into her own I hope she find the mainstream success she deserves and not get shoved into a niche like so many of her blues contemporaries today.
Don't hold thy breath. I might be jaded at this point but I've seen far too many promising young female musicians sexualize themselves as soon as they get a stage presence and a record deal. It isn't hard to understand why as the ones who don't fade from the public view and the gigs dry up. Popular/Rock music isn't really the space for welcoming women to the table on their musical merit alone, that's more Jazz and Classical.
WOW, I'm proud of your music tastes and your guitar heroes are mine too. I saw Santana when I was 13. My brother took me. I was already listening to the music he and my sisters listened to. My dad played folk and flamenco guitar and some classical. So us kids had broad tastes. I wish you lots of success and enjoyment in your career. Please watch out for the industry sharks. They have ruined many with drugs and pressure. Good luck 🍀
oh alright then i left the blues scene as a 10 year old chords in flat 9th and aminor 7ths are so telepathic ray charles could see them coming down a mile away
you're very fortunate to have that SG & Les Paul... Original Bluesman worked hard in the fields and farms - sang the Blues all week, but Church was Sunday morning...p Church music and Blues Creates Rock and Roll !
She has spider hands❤ crawling ever so elegantly on that guitar! And love that she is not playing with a pick! She's phenomenal! Next greatest female player, IMO!
Thank God for young people like this, keeping music alive.
Here we are in '24: "I heard BB King one day..." Legends live on forever. What an amazing young woman.
I feel so old, a lot of the music she’s playing, I have seen in concert during the 70’s, now this young girl has taken it to a whole new level, she’s definitely going places with her own style of playing.
Si jeune et mâture dans le blues,.... N'est elle pas la réincarnation d'une grande artiste des blues man de 1970?❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Our future is in good hands if we have people like Grace at the helm. Wow! I love her playing and her generosity of spirit. Go Grace!
What a lovely & talented young woman with a great social consciousness &respect & love of music history. Someone to watch & support !
I have a 17 year old granddaughter who while she's an artist, she's not a musician. But her demeanor reminds of her. I'm a guitarist for over 50 years. So I appreciate good musicians . Good luck my dear.
Sounds really good very very good
a "musician" can be payed to play just about anything. an Artist however invests time in their own craft. be careful how you speak.
Art and music are both wonderful in Australia we say arts the only thing that keeps the bastards honest
Wow, her playing is beyond her years!!! The blues will go on with youngsters like this!

Hearing this young lady invoke B.B made my heart swell.
B.B. = Brigitte Bardot !!!
Je suis français.

Impressive for sure.... feel better about the future of real music... Kinda like a young Bonnie Rait comes to mind... BB's legacy lives on...
she gives me hope. I know I'm not alone in that sentiment.
Love seeing an electric guitar being played with fingers instead of a pick, so cool 😎
Wowww Grace is such a naturally gifted guitarist, a breath of pure, fresh air and a grounded young lady. I sincerely hope she goes onto musical greatness and truly establishes herself, in the world 🌎 of blues, blues-rock music. 👏🤞🙏🤟🎸🌟

You are why we play music! Such an inspiration to all musicians!
Great To See Young Talent Into The Blues. Beautiful and Tasteful Guitars.
" I heard B.B. King one day...."...that's THE phrase that summarises each and every rock 'n' roll trip ever taken.
I love this kid! she's so respectful of her peers, past and present. Hey, Grace....I have a cat named T-Bone Walker. You make him proud!
Kid for some reason, she will be your biggest winner.
What an amazing young lady, she belongs to another time 😊
Holly smokes, I remember Grace from Berklee's Five Week a year ago 😮
New fan looking forward to hearing more keep going and don’t stop.
Blues is cool ! Anything you derive from that make your own !

Your physical resemblance to Tal Wilkenfeld (Bass Phenom) is astounding. I hope I get to see the two of you play together some day.
Incredibly beautiful guitar tones !
She's a special person and I expect I'll be hearing her music for a very long time.
She certainly is going to make her own path thru the Musical River. (Luv that she has studied the blues) It'll serve her well for years to come.

Pretty sure they belong to Guitar Center and not her. But I suppose she might as well have some sort of sponsor deal.
