IDK. I feel like there is a small window of time in which we may not be sure of how we feel about somebody if we haven't known them for long. This is especially true if you're the type of person who needs to bond with someone before you become romantically interested in them. However, if you and a guy have had several getting-to-know-you conversations, the two of you have good chemistry, both of you seem to enjoy each other's company and he still won't make a move, I'd say cut your losses and move on. You don't have to completely shut the door on him, but I wouldn't focus on him to the exclusion of other guys.

I am a guy and I don't go around acting too competitive when my crush is dating someone else. Here is the reason. She is my crush. Not my gf; therefore, not my place to tell her she cannot date another guy. I would think you only came up with 13 signs. Acting jealous is not something I would do to my crush. I don't do creepy behaviors around my crush. That will make my crush hate me even more. Anyone who is a afraid of rejection would not have the guts to do anything creepy around their crush. I would still respect my crush even if there is no chance that I will be chosen. I had already seen my crush kissed someone else but it isn't my place to be jealous about it because I never built any relationship with her in the 1st place.

Okay, my situation is complicated with my crush.
Me and him just met close to a month ago, but went to the same middle school. We had a friendly conversation when we met and that’s when I realized that I loved him.
He said that dating wasn’t out of the equation and we flirted a little bit then. But then, the second week after we met, he was like “no no we can’t be in a relationship, it’ll be toxic and bad and I’m too busy. Getting in a relationship would distract me from what’s going on after school.”
