Russell Crowe was immensely watchable in The Pope's Exorcist. You could tell he was having a ball chewing up the scenery in that one. Russell, more gladiator and exorcism films, less superhero crap!
Why the hate? For me a movie needs likeable hero, decent acting, creative kills, strong villans, soild plot and multiple fight sequences. Kraven checked all those boxes. My wife and I have movies pass and go once a week. She is quick to call out a garbage movie and give me that 'You Picked This One' look! She even liked it! For 2 hours of escapism from work & business and an excuse for movie popcorn this was totally worth it!

It's like it took them 100 years and they forgot how movies are made/how to make a movie. People on RUclips making fan films are making better movies than the big major studios.

Me my friends watched it last night and I we were going in with low expectations (due to some of the negative reviews that we saw) and We were still surprised how quickly it became a comedy,😂 throughout the entire movie I heard A lot of people snickering and laughing nobody was taking this movie seriously. It was cool to see chameleon tho 🙌.
In the comics Kraven goes after Spiderman because he’s taken out all the most dangerous animals or ‘game’ in the world and wants a new challenge. He hunts powerful animals! That’s his whole thing. He’s gone from big game killer to a one man PETA?
I appreciate you & Dan Murrell (he drove 5 hrs one way to see the movie) watching Kraven so I don't have to. It's a shame about the rest of the movie since I really like the 8 minute preview. It had pretty good potential w/ Aaron Taylor-Johnson as the star.

Hi Adam. I have no intention of watching Kraven the Hunter. And that's true about the vast majority of movies you review. For me, commentary about movies, especially funny, no BS commentary like yours, has replaced movies as my chosen form of light entertainment. I've stopped my subscriptions to all my paid streaming content. It seemed that most of the movies and serials were poorly made, lazy, inept, uninteresting and implausible. I had enjoyed watching many of the anti-woke outrage mongers but lately it seems that more and more they've started wearing their politics on their sleeves, or perhaps I've just grown more sensitive to it. Anyway I really appreciate that you can be very funny without resorting to taking snarky shots at politics.
I just saw this pile of trash. Oh boy. Who wrote the dialogue? Did the director even care to give direction (probably not, since he probably knew it's the last one)? Crowe was doing a Russian accent as if he is buzzingly telling a Russian mob story to his friends over drinks, and not a huge budget movie character. For some reason the African priestes who lives in London has an LA accent. This was pretty bad, maybe a slight step above Webb.
