No matter where a product is made. It all depends on the QC of the manufacturing process. Zapco amplifiers, one of the best in the world for sound quality, is made in China. But they are made to spec and they have management there in the plant to make sure everything is made to there standards.
Yeah, those internals look to be put together well. Looks to be a traditional 8K amp design. The finned aluminum clamps on the FETs are a really nice touch. They help to dissipate the heat. You don't see that very often.
I defiantly like these amp styles better with the way the mosfets are clamped down at a 45 degree angle with a clamp and screw instead of the pressure clamps at 90 degrees, much easer to work on.
I like the sub test at the end. Kind of funny one of my first amps was a Rockford Fosgate - p500-2 burnt a p1 12 and popped the amp. Now 15 years later I have a cheap PA amp and have burnt 2 subs with no issues.. weird how things have changed.
Those amps.actuslly look really well made tbh the metal potentiometers would have been something worth mentioning In ur little review and the brands of caps used are also important how thick the pcb is aswell and the overall weight of the Amp are all things that hint to the quality of said amp great job love chsnnel
Parker that 8k does look like a pretty cool amp. I think 🤔 only people using them will find out how good it is over time. I do wonder about the quality of those caps, but again only time and use will tell. 👍👍😎
Classic oldschool half bridge amp design, dead give away is the drive card on the output section. I'm willing to bet they use 24N40F fets on the output solid amp overall and like the finned clips for the mosfets.
Currently waiting on my alt I ordered just need me a second battery dont know what to get currently I cant wait till I can full tilt my setup 😂 Only a matter of time till I start breaking stuff
I know I keep asking but please review some resilient sounds subs maybe a gold v2 15” 1500 watts rms but can handle much more… 69 lbs aluminum frame.. please
okay might be a dumb question but i just bought a skar 800watt rms marine and amp and a ct sounds tropo 10 that’s rated at 800watts rms and iam running 8 gauge wire with a 60amp fuse but i get littel to no power to the sub it is wired at 1 ohm but i has littel to no bass can you please tell me what iam doing wrong and what i need to do to fix it!! also i have 12 gauge wire going to the sub
@@ronniedickens6138 yeah that’s what i was thinking too i thought it wasent getting enough power and bump the fuse to at lest 90amp or higher? and go from there the sub is rated at 800 watts rms at 1 ohm and the amp is too and the sub is 1300 watt peak power
Great video. Good looking amps for sure and might have to get me one. Off topic. With all the subs you have messed with, I am looking for some really good SQ style subs for a budget build. Looking 15’s and 18’s. Again spl is not a concern but money is. Was wondering what subs you would recommend looking at? Would sure appreciate it.
disconnect all power and signal wires from the amp, wait for a few minutes, then reconnect them while ensuring proper grounding and adjusting the gain settings to a low level; if it remains in protection mode, check for potential wiring issues like loose connections, speaker impedance mismatches, or a faulty amp
Deaf bonce went to China for everything. It's not the same quality. The heatsink isn't even as quality as the aak. I don't like the direction that DB has headed over the past couple years.
I have 2 10 inch skar sdrs that i want to wire at 1ohm but not sure what amp to get other than scar amps. Im wanting something affordable with the clipping light on the bass knob any recommendations??

They do rms ratings for sure thanks Parker The Basshead

DS18 Hooligan does that too
Barevids for amp info.
Welcome to the rabbit hole...
“Its such a better bang for your buck at only 2000$!” (Taramps big boss 8k in the backround 💀)
I defiantly like these amp styles better with the way the mosfets are clamped down at a 45 degree angle with a clamp and screw instead of the pressure clamps at 90 degrees, much easer to work on.
Very nice! They look sharp for sure! 💯
You and wilston audio labs are the only 2 channels I and subscribed to. Love the content and the honesty.
Nice set of amps!! You gonna make Big Jeff mad mentioning sky high lol. Cease and desist letter incoming.😂
😂😂😂
Good looking solid amp. Price not too bad either. That boy was bumping. That old sub was trying hard to hang in there. Great video my guy. BASS ON
Look like u need some risers on that amp for the fan to get some air there bud
When parker becomes a dad his YT name should be parker the bass dad
I’m running two of the 6k for 3 months now so far I’m happy with them.
Definitely going to be saving up for some Def Bonce equipment. Change out my Cerein Vega’s and PA setup. Thanks for doing all of these videos!!

Yup it’s max a 300$ amp they are making a killing off people that don’t know any better where to get this stuff
Did you notice what wattage the Gothic blew at? Still wanted to see what kicker and pioneer subs from Wal-Mart could do spl wise. Good video!
Can you test rogue car audio vandal 18s I would like to get one but there isn’t any good review videos.
I run a Deaf Bounce AAP-800.2D for my highs It really whips the llama's ass!
i NEED to get a sound system 😭
great vid brother💯👍
Thank you Nick!!
OO do they do rated ,looks well built an looks like lots of glue ,might save up for the 8k if does rated
Beefy !
the 8k's do have a problem where they'll pop out of box for some reason. DB will warranty them though.
See you at ruckus in November homie
Nice amplifier
You showed us the 8k then tested the 4k. Whats the 4k look like?

Are they 0.5 ohm stable?
okay might be a dumb question but i just bought a skar 800watt rms marine and amp and a ct sounds tropo 10 that’s rated at 800watts rms and iam running 8 gauge wire with a 60amp fuse but i get littel to no power to the sub it is wired at 1 ohm but i has littel to no bass can you please tell me what iam doing wrong and what i need to do to fix it!! also i have 12 gauge wire going to the sub
First and foremost change the power wire to at least 4 gauge
@@ronniedickens6138 yeah that’s what i was thinking too i thought it wasent getting enough power and bump the fuse to at lest 90amp or higher? and go from there the sub is rated at 800 watts rms at 1 ohm and the amp is too and the sub is 1300 watt peak power
Nice video brother! Hey can you do a review over the ct sounds ozone 12? Thanks
Hey man I recently subscribed and love your videos. Have you done a review on any nvx amps something like the nvx 1000watt or similar
Great video. Good looking amps for sure and might have to get me one.

What are you looking to spend each sub?
I need to see you stress test the new kicker solo x subwoofer brother you really put them to the test‼️‼️‼️
There just might be one sitting in my shop right now 👀
150K by the end of the year! JP73 is 1250 so the price is not way high for this Sport model.
Sir how do you get a amp out of protection mode. Please Parker
disconnect all power and signal wires from the amp, wait for a few minutes, then reconnect them while ensuring proper grounding and adjusting the gain settings to a low level; if it remains in protection mode, check for potential wiring issues like loose connections, speaker impedance mismatches, or a faulty amp
Sundown tried this with the sbf line its trash and cant compare to the salt line.

Brands of caps??
SamYoung from South Korea
Nice amps
What can blow an amp at idle?
I have 2 10 inch skar sdrs that i want to wire at 1ohm but not sure what amp to get other than scar amps. Im wanting something affordable with the clipping light on the bass knob any recommendations??
But are they as tuff
Nice video bro
Has anyone tested the DB 2000.1 pro?
Y'all y'all y'all
nice vids
Nice
Look like team pie amps
TeamPie = old AAK series from DB
just dont see my self paying 1000 for a 8k but i have to say the guts look way more then a 8k looks more like a 12k
These days amps are very inexpensive. Back in the 90’s, paying $1 per watt was considered a good deal.
I look at it like this, if you're not running what you're sponsoring then it must not be that great
🔥🔥💥💥👌👌✨✨🤩🤩🥳🥳💯💯🙉🙉
That thing is way too f'n big!
Incriminator
SOUNDS LIKE You're USING , " bible logic , tO SPEAK A NUMBER INtO A FRACtION ...
