Okay, now I'm DYING to hear the original version of "Walk Away" in its entirety.
Alanis REALLY ought to put out all her previously unreleased material.
I still cant set apart the fact how ill she was at the time. Record producers telling her "You can't be successful if you're fat". Because of constantly hearing this she would barely eat for months at a time. She'd go months on just eating Melba toast, carrots and black coffee, and sometimes she'd make herself throw up. I mean how sad. Im really happy those days are long gone for her. I love her pop music and rock music, shes just fantastic.
klassicalmuzik It made me cringe when they went on about how happy she was then.
Never heard of that but maybe it’s bc I’m American... we didn’t know this Alanis
She was always wise beyond her years it seems. I wonder what it was specifically that gave her the drive and ambition to accomplish so much at such a young age. She must have had wonderful parents.
I want this version of Walk Away so bad!!! Where can I find it?
Love Alanis, no matter the era. She's just perfect. I have her two first albuns and I love it.
This is definitely not the Alanis Americans know ... love it
I like Walk Away in the form they show here.....sounds much better
Alanis should re- record walk away in this version on here. it was alot better then the other version
If Alanis were 13 when her appearance on the CJOH Youth Talent Search '87, this would have lied anywhere between June 1 and December 31, 1987.
@ DuracellEnergizer. If you want to hear the original version of Walk Away, it was originally written by Leslie Howe and Louise Reny of the band "One 2 One". They recorded their own version of the song (probably the original concept) and did include it on their 1992 album "Imagine It". It is posted here on youtube, so check it out! I love the Alanis version, but the original is arguably better. It's titled "I'll Walk Away". LOVE IT! Great song!
2:28-2:48 maybe now we know who the song “U Oughta Know” is about lol
it's freaky to watch them talking about leslie howe and seeing him talk about her when it's pretty obvious he's the guy she had the underage relationship with from the age of 14.
Who would even take time to research that ... one track mind I see
sale lindo Leslie mi cuñado.
It appears that she had an affair with an 29 years old man when she was forteen...And she met Leslie Howe at 14...You can hear a lot of that man in her songs Unsent and Hands Clean.
A 29 year old man preying on a 14 year old young girl isn't an affair
@@its_msk True but those are her own words
