The best actor is Joaquin Phoenix, his perforances are out of this world and Joker was top of the top in his career, love you give him much time in this video.
Also, Casey Affleck performance was least theatrical. Like a normal man with grief. No crazy gimmick.( All performances by the winners are amazing, so not downplaying on anyone.) But I could literally feel his pain through the screen. It moved me so much! Usually I find that award committees love certain kind of performances, like you know, very hard to do characters driven to extremes ( Leo, whom I love so much, eating a real liver comes to mind or characters with sickness and all that or real life people where resemblance plays a big role and some are overdues) so seeing such a strong, moving performance of a regular person win such accolades was nice for a change.
I watched The Artist a couple days ago. Flawless movie. I loved how all the performances (especially Jean's) were exaggerated like they would be in classic silent films, yet they still felt authentic and realistic.
In my opinion, I'd give Leo his Oscar in The Aviator. In 2015, I'd give it to Benedict Cumberbatch (The Imitation Game) and 2016, Eddie Redmayne (The Danish Girl) and 2019, Willem Dafoe (At Eternity's Gate). Also, Willem Dafoe deserved a Supporting Actor nomination AND a win in The Lighthouse and I personally think that Daniel Day-Lewis gave a superb performance in Lincoln in 2014, Joaquin Phoenix deserved his FIRST Oscar for The Master that year.
Leonardo DiCaprio was the most special one, because everybody in the crowd started cheering and clapping in the sense of "finally".

Joaquin Phoenix night was so special because Keanu Reeves was there to celebrate with him. Keanu was best friends with River Phoenix. That is awesome.
Every time Daniel day lewis shows up, it gives me chills
When you spend your whole life fighting crime, but the evil always get an OSCAR... Batman be like..
Batman : How tf the evil always get an OSCAR?
Let's see If Robert Pattinson can change something about this 😁
@@cinevore358 doubt it man... Joker always makes a good appearance..
When I saw Heath Ledger being nominated for best actor... my heart broke a little. RIP Legend❤️❤️😭😭
I can’t believe that Cillian Murphy doesn’t have a Oscar yet that to me is absolutely crazy
Oscar doesn't deserve him by the order of peaky blinders
He hasn't given a performance worthy of it, peaky blinders competes for emmy not oscars.
For which movie ???
3:37 John Wick!
Thats Keanu Reeves dumb ass

@@johngore1473 yeah but he played by Keanu Reeves

2008 - Daniel Day's performance in There will be blood is one of the best performance of 21st century.
With Gangs of New York
it's not one of the best, it is the best
Joaquín Phoenix is not an actor, he is an artist
*Chiwetel Ejiofor* performance as “solomon” in 12 years a slave was nothing short of perfection. that man deserved an oscar in my eyes.
The best actor is Joaquin Phoenix, his perforances are out of this world and Joker was top of the top in his career, love you give him much time in this video.
Watch There Will Be Blood. It might change your opinion.
you've not watched there will be blood then
@@dukefrancefield1521 don't forget Gary Oldman, Denzel Washington and Christian Bale.

@@aenigmatistaentertainment2441 great actors, but they don't come close to JP and DDL.
Adam Driver was the 2nd best choice for winning Oscar in 2020.
I think i am here alone who is here for Eddie redmayne , but still he is one of the best for me
No u r not alone
Eddie, my favourite one, i am also here for him
Philip Hoffman as Capote, Daniel Day Lewis in There will be blood and Casey Affleck in Manchester by the Sea are my favourite performances!
It hit me hard “ Run to the rescue with love and peace will follow”
I loved Jean Dujardin performance in The Artist, no one is talking about how good he was, definitely deserves more recognition
I agree! As a french myself, I was very proud of him when he won 😅 Same for Marion Cotillard!
I watched The Artist a couple days ago. Flawless movie. I loved how all the performances (especially Jean's) were exaggerated like they would be in classic silent films, yet they still felt authentic and realistic.
Hello fan how are you doing ❤❤💋💋💋
Daniel day Lewis best Actor ever .no one can cross him he really deserve 3 Oscars 💯
Those goosebumps when Joaquin Phoenix as Joker moment begins
In my opinion, I'd give Leo his Oscar in The Aviator. In 2015, I'd give it to Benedict Cumberbatch (The Imitation Game) and 2016, Eddie Redmayne (The Danish Girl) and 2019, Willem Dafoe (At Eternity's Gate). Also, Willem Dafoe deserved a Supporting Actor nomination AND a win in The Lighthouse and I personally think that Daniel Day-Lewis gave a superb performance in Lincoln in 2014, Joaquin Phoenix deserved his FIRST Oscar for The Master that year.
yes!!
Lincoln is from 2012.
Joaquin phoenix is a legend ❤️❤️❤️❤️
2:29 Am I the only one who found it really wholesome when Casey won and Ben kissed him on the cheek? That’s true brotherly love.
