Thank you. As usual, it was more work than expected, but that's to be expected (if that makes any sense 😆).

Some thing to try is take a propane torch the one that you Souder copper pipe with and heat the nut which will make it expand slightly making it easier to come off you could hit the pitman arm around the part you want to come off too you will have to heat it for about five minutes if you had oxygen to supplement the propane it would get hot faster but most don't have this! Remember heat makes things larger I am a welder for over thirty years! Heat it to the point of not being able to keep your hand on it! and if you can take a wire brush first as the rust will act as a insulant for the heat! hope this helps! Marc From New Brunswick

Thanks for the tips. I don't have any torch at all at this point. But as you can see in the video, there are ways around using heat. I'll definitely have to get a torch though, for all kinds of things 😆👍

That's a tough job, I've seen them have to be cut off with an acetylene torch. Nicely done.

Do you have anybody local who can apply a framesaver or something similar? While you have access some kind of a weather proofing or primer might be nice to spray on your parts.

I'm using a lanolin based corrosion protection called "Fluid Film". It creeps into the rust and stays there a long time. You can apply it with minimal prep work. 🙂
