Oh boy, I SUFFERED through that last level (almost no items to heal radiation, almost no healing at all, hordes of enemies kicking my ass), I barely got alive to the wish granter (with the LAST of my hp left, no more bandages, medkits, anything, and the constante pain of radiation), just to get the negative ending. MAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAN

That's what happens if you do red forest, pripyat and CNNP in one go
that fcking core/pit/thing where the wish granter is above lmaooo
There's no "good endings" for the stalkers. Just endings. I think the "canon" ending it's a very Bad ending cause the zone became more unestable since C-consciousness it's no longer controlling the "generators" thats explaind why there is more emissions.
I see you are a man of culture as well!
I mean,Call of Pripyat happened and GSC themselves confirming the good ending to be the canon one soooo
@@alphapegasus9761 I think he got the point. There's no 'good' or 'bad' ending. Only 'false' or 'true' ending (to continue with CoP sequel).
Like if we choose to decline GMan's job, there's no HL2.
They were also sustaining the "generators," so with them gone, those will eventually shut down.
I really like the "Immortality" ending. It is such a troll by the Monolith, but at the same time a bit poetic.
You do actually become immortal, just not in the way you had originally anticipated (I wonder if Strelok remains conscious in this statue form).
I don't even want to imagine how it would be like...
Eventually, Strelok stopped thinking.
@@ConfusedLaptop was about to comment that
He wished for death, but he can't
It's somewhat similar to the ending of I Have No Mouth, but we can't tell for sure if he's conscious while in metal form. If he is conscious, it's a fate worse than death.
My first ending was the "humanity is corrupt" ending. I wasn't disappointed.
Solid video!
Thnak you my dude! I usually take the greedy one
My first one was "I wasn't immortality" which technically gives him immortality, frozing him into place. nobody can kill him. Same with the I want the zone to disappear, he is blinded. I didn't get the greedy one becuase before I raided the brain scorcher I bought a lot of all I and better amour.

@@helpiamstuckonthismanshead3385 you don't know what you are saying
@@Hely_from_de_mainframe yes u too lol
I always thought that Strelok loses his eyes when he wishes for the Zone to disappear because he was marked by and part of the Zone himself.
zone disappears BECAUSE HE CANT FUCKING SEE IT!!1
Bro just goes blind
Bro are you blind?
Endings be like:
Go blind
Get crushed to death
Get forced to join Monolith
Become a statue
Get mind blown
Join C-Consciousness
Kill C-Consciousness
The "mind blown" is actually dooming humanity, Strelok just sees and regrets how humanity extincts by a disease
I can see other possible ironic "gifts" from the Wish Granter. For example, if you wish for happiness you will be sent out into the Zone in a high state of euphoria unaware of everything around you, only to be murdered by Bandits, Mercs, mutants, one of the two factions you chose to fight, or an anomaly.
you can add or alter anything in your own mind using your logic.....just pretend differently, like religion and its false promises
Ha my first ending was "I want the Zone to disappear", playing it I fell in love with the game and the zone, i didn't realize that strelok went blind so I got upset and annoyed with my choice. I got so confused coz i hadn't played COP yet but i knew it was based off events after SoC, then i heard about the multiple endings which made me determined to unlock the real truth XD. By far the best experience I have had in game.
bruh i found u
At 5:30 I wrote alive, it meant dead for the faction leaders, sorry!
First ending I ever got was the true one. People told me to watch out for the wish granter and that there's something else. So I searched and found a ladder and opened the vault door with the key from the secret stash I got in strelok's room in pripyat. The best ending was that I didn't agree to join c consciousness and I destroyed it. But really, the zone is even more unstable now so.... Strelok....... your happiness didn't last long.
another honorable mention would be the secret "alien" ending from lost alpha. nevertheless, very good video!
No please Stalker don't need aliens.
@@naglismalisauskas1779 You must have no idea where Stalker comes from buddy
@@sittinsamthesaychetman7650 hmmm i suppose you want to tell me ?
@@naglismalisauskas1779 my pleasure! Check out the book Roadside Picnic! It's the basis/inspiration for the Stalker film and games. It's fantastic! Less action and more sci fi postulation of course, but the reason for the Zone is actually an alien visitation. The game series reskinned it as the Chernobyl disaster
@@sittinsamthesaychetman7650 Nice. Didin't knew that 😃
Everyone who's beat this game hates the word monolith and fears the railgun noises
Any time someone achieves "immortality", it comes at a terrifying consequence, I find.
"...you have to reach 15 portals to reach the destination and say idi nahui for one more time to sidorovich." This one killed me xDd
My first ending was the rich one, serves me right for being a kleptomaniac. Still think the worst part about the end is outside the NPP, when you have both the Military and Monolith breathing down your neck. Better than Limansk's invisible walls I suppose.
Strelok knew that the wish would only come true based on your real intentions. The reason why he wipes his own memory and tells you to "Kill Strelok" is to make sure that you don't become the person he once was (And thus get the better ending).
I guess it's sort of meta if you consider the player making a new game to change things. I also got the "Rich" ending and was really confused about how having 50k literally make you get it regardless of anything else you do.
The center of the Zone is just a metaphor for what humans pursue; they don't really know what they want and it's extremely difficult to change it.
Man, so underrated, I was expecting alot more recognition and views from this guy, he needs more of it. Fantastic work.
Thank you a lot! :D
@@RobertCBRN Woah fast response. But yeah, good job man.
@@syncdi3221 I respond to most of the comments I recive and asap :))
The insides of the NPP was truly stunning but also claustrofobic and scary.
I am so happy i took the effort to experience this masterpiece.
Now on to clear sky and call of pripyath.
Thanks for the explaining video 👍
I guess we'll have to wait another year for when Stalker 2 comes out to see what happens to Strelok
another year after this year and its 2021....
Bruh i got same profile pic
he got enlisted, that's why the delay
I didn't know that i have to speak to guide to get the good ending so ive used qaus rifle to open the doors at sarcophahus
i love this guy's punctuality and his vocabulary. considering his thick accent i assumed he might have some amount of broken english, but goddamn was i wrong. very well spoken guy, loved the explanations
For my first ending which I got now I got the "I want the zone to disappear" ending, now off to grind another 30 hours onto the rest 6 endings
I want to be immortal so i can play HL 3 excellent joke!
My true ending is a lot of "CHEEKY BREEKY" in the zone
my first ending was the "I want the zone to disappear"
Same I just now completed the game i was like wtf so I did some research because i went in this game blindly.
@@tonci5435 And you came out blind too 😉
Great video I always wondered the exact explanation of the endings. I also love the idea of multiple endings and if we ever see STALKER 2 I hope they try the same thing. Great explanation keep up the good work. :D
The first time I played this game I got the good ending where you go blind. I finished it recently and I had no idea there were different endings! I was so confused because I never killed strelok lol.
Sadly that's not a good ending, you don't delete the zone, it just trolls Strelok by getting him blind therefore deleting the zone from his eyes
I also got the rich ending right now with my first playthrough. I had 220.000 Rubles, very good reputation and number 1 ranked stalker as well as killed freedom leader
Excellent video. Very cool that you used CJU's gameplay :-D I like that dude. I got the greed ending first, then the decoder one where I said F U C-Con and destroyed them. I also think that ending where you are warping around the buildings and fighting Monolith is awesome! I had so much fun playing that part, especially when the AI derps out and decides they can walk on air like solid ground. ;-)
I just finished with the game a few minutes ago. 117.3 hours played, according to Steam. I don't know anyone else who's played this game, and I avoid spoilers and guides like the plague until I've beaten a game once, so my playthrough was completely organic. I actually ended up getting the true ending because I'm just a total ditz and just simply DIDN'T SEE the ladder in the junk room that leads up to the Monolith. I was like, "Welp, this big ol' junk heap was a waste of time. Ain't nothin' here but a big ol' pile o' dirt and some rubble. :T" So then I left the area, continued on, found the vault door, used the decoder, hid behind the big box, and just ran straight through the door without bothering to fight the Monolith soldiers that were teleporting in while it was decoding because I was so choked for supplies. So I was like, "Peace out, Monolith jagoffs! Try and chase me through a loading screen! Mwahahaha!" Then, because I was so low on supplies, I save-scummed my way through that final area, making literally 50+ new saves along the way, saving after every kill, and reloading my last save a thousand times. When I finally reached the hologram, I thought it WAS the Monolith at first, and I was very confused as to why I couldn't interact with it or make a wish. It had been two years since I last played, and I'd last left off in Pripyat, so I COMPLETELY forgot that Doc told me the Monolith was a trap. I shot it up, went through the dialogue, and was presented with my two choices. I decided before clicking either of them that I would be reloading my file after my selection and then pick the other one so that I could see them both, so I just arbitrarily picked the first one, which was to join C-Consciousness. It worked out, because then I got the shorter option out of the way and then reloaded, proceeding onward to the real ending. After all of that, I was kind of confused because, I noticed right away that, when I destroyed the hologram machine's power doohickies, it said "Task Failed: Find the Monolith". I was like, "Wut?" So, after I spent the next few hours getting the "offer declined" ending, I then went back and looked up the task on the fandom wiki (as I figured, I've beaten the game now, I can go ahead and look up a guide at this point), and, even though the directions were confusing as all hell, and I had no idea what it was talking about, it DID make mention of an ACTUAL Monolith that you can make a wish at. So I figured, "Okay, I must have missed something in that big-ass junk room." So I reloaded my file once again, backtracked all the way from the hologram machine (as I had saved just before entering that room), went back to the previous area, absolutely DESTROYED those Monolith jagoffs I skipped earlier, as I had HELLA stocked up on supplies from all the bonhommes I'd just save-scummed my way through, got back to the junk room, found the ladder, and said to myself, "How in the smeghole did I miss this? It's so obvious." I climbed up, wasted a whole bunch of time scouring every corner of that upper level for secrets that didn't exist, carefully hopped my way over to the Monolith, made a new save file in front of the Monolith (for a total of 670 saves-I save to a different file every time so I can backtrack if need be, and because I'm afraid of corrupted saves), made my wish, and got the rich ending... as I had way, way, way, WAY more than 50,000 rubles. lol. Then I tried to reload the file I'd just made, thinking that the bad endings that I'd seen mention of on the wiki might be randomized, but the game crashed when I tried to load it. And then again... and again. So then I backtracked all over again, made a new copy of the save in front of the Monolith, made the wish again, and got the same ending again. Then I tried to reload the new save again, and that one was crashing the game too, thereby vindicating my habit of making a new save file every time. So then I was like, "Fegg it. I'll just RUclips the other endings." And now here I am. :P All in all, a great game. Easy nine outta ten. Would recommend. It was terrifying, thrilling, intriguing, immersive, atmospheric, occasionally funny ("Marked One?! What the hell!" xD), and satisfying. Only reason I don't give it a full ten is 'cause it is pretty buggy. And to think, I almost ended up not playing this game because the very first mission where you have to kill the seven or eight dudes in the village was just SO hard. I died again, and again, and again, and again on that first mission. I dare say that the first mission may have been the hardest one in the entire game. At least for me. Although I did have a bit of a laugh in that mission when I was like, "Wait, did that guy just call me a suka?" xD But I got really fed up with that first mission. If I remember correctly, I think I even rage quit and didn't come back to it for a few days. I was like, "Maybe being only quarter Russian just isn't Russian enough for this game." lol. In the end, though, almost 120 gameplay hours later, I can finally say that I have beaten this game. ♥
sure there are games like gta, red dead, call of duty...and thats all good....but no other game will ever crawl into my heart like stalker did. after so many years i never played a game that got me so much as stalker. this game should be learned about in history books
edit: also im pretty sure the last ending is a good ending if you connect it with CoP ending when Strelok comes to the base and you have to extract him out of the zone
awesome video bro
Good work as always
Thanks, this was helpful.
Great video man
My first ending was the joining the C-Con ending. I had no idea about the quests with the Guide and the Doc. I found the decoder by mistake and when i was at the CNPP, i entered the door to the wish granter but didn't know how to make my way up to it. I then found some other way which lead me to the door to the true wish granter and I got scared when i saw the Task failed: Find the wish granter, being completely oblivious that I was about to get a better ending

What the fuck, I just played Stalker for the first time and was wondering how and when the hell I would be able to kill this Strelok guy, and was extremely disappointed when I couldn't because I was the one who died. BUT THAT PLOT TWIST, OH MY LORD I WAS STRELOK THE WHOLE TIME?! WTF I LOVE IT 10/10
I think this is the meaning of each I will put same in a way that I agreed, ending greed: nothing is better wealth than a woman, you use a bolt. Immortality: same, power: same or even the monolith is the ruler of the world, positive: same, evil: what is the worst thing you can do(personally I would say "I want death to humanity")
Great explanation. I just finished Stalker
Oblivion Lost Remake explains story behind those endings. you will enjoy seeing them!)
Got the "rich" ending which is terrible and forgot I had the decoder for the hidden door. Declined the offer, got killed several times by the monolith during the portals level in the nuclear power plant and thank god there was a exoskeleton armor. Finally, killed them all and got the true ending. Geez, I didn't imagine this game to be this hard. It was harder than CoP.
You guys should post what you would ask to the Wish Granter here.

for me i got the first greed ending but that was really only because i didnt think about it and i forgot what doctor told me and i also just followed the objective the game gave me because i didnt think about it and i thought there was only one ending
and the funny thing is i didnt even need to do a second playthrough because i took all the steps i needed to get the last 2 endings and i just waddled on to the wish granter like a fool lmao. Yeah anyway so i just loaded up my save and went to the door and then got the other 2 endings, i like them both
“I want to be immortal so that I can someday play Half-life 3” 🤣😎
It’s great to see this because my game would crash every time after getting through the door to the final ending. Though I could join C-consciousness. That one was my true ending.
The true and canonical ending. Strelok was in illusion that the Zone disappeared and slept. When he woke up he is actually escaped from the Chernobyl NPP, while the group of Stalkers are now penetrated to the center of the Zone without being brainwashed by the Monolith, Strelok heard a Military Helicopters approaching to the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant (Operation Fairway), unfortunately the Anomalies became more powerful and unstable after he destroyed The Group (C-Consciousness) pods, destroying the helicopters.
I still wonder that what created the zone and why the centre of the zone is so unstable and even in clear sky it is unclear that what is reason behind the instability of the zone even the clear sky members had not expected such reaction from the zone in the end of clear sky
