    This is so exciting! Definitely makes me want to upgrade my printer! 😬
    Also, that first Benchy is SO MUCH higher in quality than any I’ve ever done.

    Hey! enthusiast here! You generally dont have to worry about the moisture levels of your plaa unless uts been out for over a year (sometimes their good for over 2) or if you have a very humid environment, not to worry because your ams unit will also dry out filaments too! If you have any questions for me feel free to ask!
    Edit: to contain printer poops you should look at poop chutes or the printer drawers

      Oh thanks for the tip! And I did find a poop chute to print out and it's been super helpful ahah.

    These printers do shake quite a bit due to the speed. Most people put them on top of concrete paver stones to help with that.
    For the filament you can buy a big tub that’s airtight and keep a bunch of silica beads inside, also if you want to store individually - 4L airtight cereal boxes work wonderfully and same as the tub, you can put the beads freely inside or print little bins to store the beads in the container

    After set up testing, when I print the nozzle stays about an inch above the plate. That's not right,is it?

  • @Denniss7420

    I'm using the same set up as you - the carpeted floor. Go to a Hardware store and pick up a 18x18 in paver to put the printer on as it will help with vibrations. I just use 1 gallon zip lock bags with desiccant that comes with the filament to store PLA.

      Just picked up a new paver and it definitely helps. Going to try out the zip lock bags with desiccant. Thanks for the tip!

    I know this has basically nothing to do with the video but how do you do the colors in your digital peaces?
    The way you make the color pop always looks amazing and I still can’t figure out how to do it myself. Is it something in compositing or the shader itself?
    I’ve watched your cake video like 100 times and I still can’t get the colors to pop in the same way.
    Love your videos man they are super inspiring keep up the amazing work

    • @kevandram
      @kevandram  6 месяцев назад

      Thanks so much! If you haven't done so, try adjusting the Color Management settings in the Render Properties tab. There, I change the View Transform to Standard and Look to Medium High Contrast. Other than that, I do use some compositing effect, namely Glare. Hope that helps!

    Do you advise me to buy a P1s printer is there any cons in it

    • @kevandram
      @kevandram  3 месяца назад

      I haven't experienced any! One of the biggest I've heard is in regards to filament changes. It can waste a lot, but this depends a lot on your design. Other than that, I'm really enjoying it.

    You updated firmware and skipped right past it. Why? How did you update the firmware? Did you connect the printer to the internet? These are actually important details for people considering getting one of these.

      If you reference the booklet it comes with (which is what I’m reading in the video) you’ll notice it’s clearly laid out, step by step. I suggest using that as a starting point.

      @@kevandram People go to youtube because they want information and insights. Most people (not all) are not looking for "hey, that guy looks happy with his 3D printer!" AND if people are not interested in looking at manuals (because let's face it, no one does) earning a few coins by actually going through it all would certainly be worth watching and giving you the views and increasing your numbers and boosting your algorithm. I have been collecting data from other sources but it's not easy to find it when you search for "how to start using" videos.
