- Colt Ford is speaking out for the first time since suffering a heart attack earlier this month after playing a show in Gilbert, Arizona. Colt Ford shared the scary account from his hospital bed while on the phone with Big D and Bubba. We are continuing to send out our love and prayers to Colt Ford and his family as he continues to make a recovery.

Bless you sweet pea. If I could fight to stay alive after my 2nd heart attack you can. I can't begin to tell you how many doctors, nurses and aides that kept me here. I lost my Son, and it would have been so easy to tell them to let me go. I have another child and grandchild, who are my reason to breathe. I must use oxygen 24/7 and will continue for the rest of my days. I have an electric wheelchair to use out of my house. So if my broken 65 year old body can survive so can others.
God was in complete control. Jesus and my Son were with me as they put stints in my heart at the widow maker area. They both told me not yet. I am not imagining that I saw them as they were very real to me. God has got you. Take time for yourself. Now would be the time to kick habits that aren't good for you. I laid cigarettes down. Total cold turkey, no set backs.
May God hold you and keep you.

You think ur the platform for recovery and tell the world your going to fight to live etc? Come to my house and sit with my dad who is dying and knowing there's nothing you can do
