Capitalism is supposed to drive an economy forward, but if there's is too much capitalism (AKA libertarianism) then the companies will eat the economy, but if there's no capitalism then there wouldn't be any economic growth, that's why I think we should have capitalism, but not put it on steroids.
Just like inflation, if there is none, nobody would feel compelled to buy things, but too much inflation is a problem as well.
THIS GUY MAKES SENCE
You said that i live in a country like the one in your comment you still need good government to do all of that, in Indonesia is nor capitalism nor is it socialism it's a mix bag yet the country is still shit cuz of corruption.
Best Wishes
Random Indonesian Guy
Mandingo Gringo u have no idea what socialism is
***** that is nothing close to socialism, that is social democracy which is what all the European countries r, I respect that idea as it creates wealth without exploitation of third world labour, but that is nothing like socialism, socialism is what the ussr was, Yugoslavia was, China was, Indian state of kerala is
That's true. I felt very safe in Cuba. Even as we walked down a dark street with our pockets full of CUC. No problem. The Cubans very really friendly!
These stories are great, I lived in Miami for a few years and grew to love the Cuban people and their cuisine. Lochon asado, aroz con greis so dang good.
She seemed like she really cared for the future of her country.
A lot of Cubans are like that, they have a very good understanding of the sociopolitical context their country is in and are politically engaged. Many really want liberalisation but I fear don't really understand the negative things that will come with that.
As a tourist Cuba felt super safe. Even dark alleys in the middle of the night in Havana.
Most economies are a mix anyway. It's almost impossible to just have one system.
basic economics
I was surprised to hear that thing about public safety. That is safer than some places in the U.S.
Of course there are more crazy people in the U S than in Cuba.
very interesting material! will you do more about Cuba?
i live in the canay islands. a lot of people migrated to cuba during Franco so the accent is almost the same
The future is looking bright for this Caribbean island nation. I should visit some day.
As a spaniard, esto es raro. The video switchs back and forth between español e inglés, y entiendo ambos, pero still is confusing as fuck xD
As a Cuban, the switching of both languages I get it, it doesn't seem confuso me.
As a biligual, I didn´t notice until you pointed it out. Weird...
That's not unusual. I was an upper intermediate in German (I think I've grown a bit rusty since then), and when I heard German or English, the change doesn't really register to me consciously. Like if someone asked me a question, I would automatically respond in the same language without really thinking about it, even if wasn't not my native language (English).
Like Vladimir Lenin said "Socialism is for the infrastructure and welfare while capitalism is for innovation" NEW ECONOMIC POLICY FOR THE WIN
mixed economies please
Yukan Perumal TEchnically socialism is a broad term so if you reealised most govt adopted at least a form of socialism.
The answer is always and will be Democratic Socialism , just look at Holland.....
Democratic socialism do work. If 85-90% of the country works. It worked in Sweden until the big immigration. 60% of immigrants does not work. So the welfare is on stake.
Opus Dei plz give a link to your give statistics.....
They translated 27 in spanish as 17 in the subtitles
Sense of security comes from sense of equality. Try having everything (dollars, access, opportunities, stuff) and your neighbor not.. that neighbor will resent you.
But what about all the out of work bureaucrats?
Cuba will be the next retirement hub because of the land.
And because countries want to be friends with the US then everybody did (or still do) have embargoed Cuba as well.
BOOM! McDonald's arrives to Cuba followed up with obesity.
itake security over dinning out... anyday
Of course the embargo has negative repercussions on the Cuban economy, but above all it is the excessive regulation of enterprise from the Cuban government itself which suppresses the Cuban people.
sellery1803 it is better than it was under batista, the end of private sector has allowed Cuba to succeed a little bit and gain conciousness, now if they open up to capitalism they won't let themselves be exploited
slim shady
The end of the private sector has allowed Cuba to succeed? You can't seriously be that delusional.
anyone else have this channel appear in their subscriptions.. I've never seen this channel before
Few countries are as safe as cuba? dafuq?
yeah, it's really safe
slim shady No, North Korea is much safer!
vlad dragos yeah, actually dictatorships r very safe, in North Korea the government would be put to get u, but the actual crime rate is very low
k
It only took Cubans 50 years to figure it out! Congrats
DublinDapper they are not wrong
Certainly were and can be proving by their gradual acceptance of Capitalism. Liberty is finally being realized by the Cuban people
You do know the Cuban people have no control over the decision the government makes or do you not understand the history of Cuba? Cuba was capitalist before communism took over. Now the Communism government realizing their philosophy is shit they are slowly introducing capitalist policies.
Seeker stories You mean the American embargo?Cubans didnt make embargo to themselves
Take it from a cuban 4:14-4:34 is bullshit.
Mauricio Casacó why
Mauricio Casacó Ahhhhh education, medicine, and security in Cuba is among the best in the world. Cubans enter Guatemala on a constant basis to teach and import medicine as well. Thousands of Cuban Professors and teachers also travel to Guatemala and Argentina in a constant basis. So why is it so hard to comprehend that subject? I have a friend who travels back and forth from Cuba for the last 5 years.
You're probably one of those uncle toms far right tards or an exaggerating Miami Cuban that believes in the Cuba hating propaganda. Please, enough with your Cuban military/government oppressing its citizens ideology, because that's a FALSE statement. Plenty of ex-militant Cubans in Central America and South America teaching their trait with no fckery under their belt.
I suggest you go to Cuba or socialize with actual Cuban natives, and not some Cuban sellouts from the 60's, but actual CUBANS who are born and raised to this day in Cuba. Cause it seems you're far out with your Cuban ideologies.
