Indian Govt's silence on this Refugee crisis is very unfortunate... We Zo(Kuki-Chin-Mizo-Zomi) want political integration with our ethnic brothers.. We want independent Country but now we have come to terms within the Indian Union embracing the Constitution in the hope and belief that India will protect our people, interest, and identity(The main reason why Mizo insurgency subsided)... The onus is on the Central Govt to do more in terms of financial, diplomatic and arms support to our brothers in Myanmar and Bangladesh... If India claims to safeguard our territory, she should at least tell the Junta leaders for restraint in Chin and Sagiang Region. Because unrest there affect us on the Indian side whether we want it or not. Who knows if Myanmar jets can strafe across the border and we keep quiet they may even come inside the Mizoram territory which will invite huge backlashe. The mizo people will have to take up arms to defend themselves against such imperialistic forces. Also Our Central Govt should give financial support to Mizoram to handle this huge refugees who are fed, clothed and enrolled in Schools through the contributions of the Church, CSOs, NGOs and Philanthropists.Only state resources is not enough for this emergency... Get your facts right. Aerial bombing was within Burmese territory. Army has clarified it. Both armies enjoy cordial ties and have collaborated and shared information on separatist networks.
Even if it happens inside our borders, it's of no concern. Myanmar allows Indian forces to strike separatists who hide inside Myanmar, so India allows Myanmar to attack separatists of Myanmar, even if they hide inside our borders. We support the government of the state, whether it's a democracy, or the military Junta.

From my limited understanding, Aung San Suu Kyi govt was deeply penetrated by Western forces at the highest level. The plan was to destabilize North East India and Southern China by supplying weapons, narcotics and funding secessionist movements from Myanmar. Which is one of the reasons China and India support the current Junta govt in UN against the Western attempts to corner the Myanmar Junta govt. However, the common people will suffer because of this big power politics.
