India is doing all it can for Buddhist Chakma refugees from Bangladesh, and for Hindu refugees from W. Pakistan and E. Pakistan (Bangladesh), but when it comes to Christian, whether they are from Myanmar or Bangladesh or even its own citizen, current Govt. of India said no to them. One thing the central government should understand is that many militant group in NE have a cordial relation with the military regime. It is evident from the fact that when PDF overran Burmese army camp in the border area, meitei militant belonging to UNLF were killed along with the Burmese army. Democracy in Myanmar/Burma is essential for stability in NE

Fully agreed that many militants do get along well with the Burmese military junta.
It is the same case with many Kuki and Zomi militant groups active in Manipur were being headed by Burmese national of Chin race.
These Burmse citizens heading Narco-terrorist groups are living in India illegally too.
India and Myanmar has long porous border. People from both the countries in the border areas are related by race and ethnicity.
You have many Zo-Kuki militant groups hopping between Myanmar and India. So is the case of Nagas and the Meiteis.
The same applied to the Mizo National Front militants during their struggles for Independence!!
For stability in Myanmar GOI must act militarily against these Chin-Kuki-Zomi group on the Indian sides too😂.
      So too for the Nagas.

The Military Rule in Myanmar was and is still backing by China and India. It's very complicated given the instability the region because of China. That's why Indian Government does not officially condemn the atrocities or highhandedness of Military for many years. So,it's better to maintain status quo so to keep China at bay, once India lend full support to these resistance factions then China gonna enter to work against India.

India should also be concerned for the ethnic groups that expand both sides of the border(India-Myanmar) as much as the chinese have with the ethnic groups bordering their side. It will be better to have a positive influence keeping in mind the strategic importance of "Act East" policy. This will also prevent insurgent bases from being established across the border. How can India be a global power in isolation? Having a positive influence in the region that brings prosperity to both sides of the border would be a tremendous achievement and a new direction for the peoples of both the NE and across the border. Though much of our national budget goes to India, we are living in peace all due to the strong security support from India. Some Kukis were imported from OUTSIDE Manipur by the then Meitei kings and later by the British and implanted in the hills surrounding the Manipur Valley in the last 200-300 yrs only...but recently, those "old" Kukis started importing more and more of their kind and NOW they're claiming this land as theirs
The British intentionally and wilfully divided the Kuki-Chin-Zo's ORIGINAL HOMELAND aka Chin state of 🇲🇲 + Chittagong hill tracts of 🇧🇩 + Lushai hills aka Mizoram of India 🇮🇳, politically between and amongst those 3 countries (🇲🇲 🇧🇩 and 🇮🇳), as a retribution for their failed uprising/revolt/rebellion NOT anglo-kuki war (instigated by a meitei to overthrow a meitei king by promising reduced house taxes) against the British's policy (for recruitment of kukis as laborers/porters under manipur labor corps) during WW1
As a centrist Meitei, I wholeheartedly support and endorse the creation of a Separate Administration or a New Sovereign Nation/Country, specifically and exclusively for the Kuki-Chin-Zo people, aka Kukiland/Zale'ngam/Zoland, comprising of and consolidating the Chin state/hills of 🇲🇲, the Chittagong hill tracts of 🇧🇩 and the Lushai hills aka Mizoram of India 🇮🇳
It's about time the 🇲🇲 junta and the 🇧🇩 govt return back chin state/hills and chittagong hill tracts, respectively, to kuki chin zo people (which rightfully belonged to their ancestors).

While every people citizens cry and shout against their system of governance. The government must be doing everything wrong. This is why I appeal you all to support Modi. Look at what Congreaa did and what Modi is doing? I'm not BJP Fan, but I being an educated Indian, speaking that we cannot have a better Prime Minister other than Modi. Mizoram state government refused to follow the instruction to stop the Chins in need. Chins and Mizos are ethnically and culturally the same people. Now the rest of India would like to take credit for this.

How it reached this level is also important to know for Indians. After the assassination of Sheikh Mujib, hardline islamism and anti-India hatred was let to be spread in Bangladesh for the political gain of Zia, leader of the military government of BD at the time. Even a convicted Razakar was agriculture minister of BD at one time. Indian government did nothing to address that situation. What we are seeing now is just the aftermath of that.
