I was delayed by copyright infringement bullshit, but now that has been dealt with.
It is a novel match-up featuring obscure characters, so I was attracted to it.

The pictures you use of Plagueis fighting Venamus makes Plagueis look like he's toying with him.
Well, I've learned in recent research that Savage has greater control of the Force than Maul. He learned how to disarm Plo Koon by snatching away the Kel Dor's breath mask. Plus, he impaled Adi with his cranial horns while hitting her with the force of a runaway train. He's a fast learner.
He was only able to do that to Plo bebecause Koon was distracted on even ground Plo beats both Savage And Maul not together but one on one for each yeah.
I think you are right. Plagueis' force abilitys wood turn Baas into cooked lobster...

revan also drew upon positive emotions like happiness and love to fuel the force and make him stronger which i am guessing luke also did because like revan luke was married revans combat experience is also hard to beat seeing how he single handily won 2 wars and stopped a third one revans ability with a saber is also hard to beat if i was to compare the two i would say combat experince is very close with revan getting a slight edge dueling ability also very close with revan getting the edge
Plaguies was much like Vodo, in the sense of an “exotic weapons master” .... He used a lot of alternate weapons himself, and his fists n feet better than most. Yea, he was a good lightsaber combatant, but he far more so favored to use the right weapon for the right time. Like you said, he was a jack of all trades, and as best a one I can think of in all of Star Wars honestly. I would say he’s just as much of an alternative weaponry master that Vodo was.

I highly suggest that you link up with ScrewAttack (Wiz and Boomstick) in order to give your audience a visual experience. I've watched your versus series and your detail and description of each characters abilities powers strengths and weaknesses have given solid evidence of how the battle would play out. I think it would be much more fulfilling and entertaining to watch the two combatants face off in a death battle instead of simply declaring a winner based on opinion.

It would be really cool to see some other people in the Star Wars lore that are not force users go at it. For example "Carth Onasi vs. Atton Rand" or "Cad Bane vs. Jagged Fel". Something like that would be really interesting!

I've only ever had a casual interest in the expanded universe but your videos are like food to my imagination, a Darth Talon script would be interesting for obvious reasons and I love the obscure characters you pull out like Baas, don't stop!
I believe that baas used the force against qel droma and his martial arts against kun because he knew how kun fought and his approach to combat so he was confident in his ability to defeat kun. But he did no have an idea of how ulic would fight. Or he knew that ulics more unorthodox fighting style was too much for him so he relied on his force powers.
Bastila vs Mara Jade :D
Unfortunately we don't have any real information on Bastilla after her Padawan years. Which means we don't know what she was capable outside of her days as an apprentice. Remember that she was never even promoted to knighthood in KOTOR
Given the era in which Mara Jade was in her prime and her various fights with her contemporaries (people like Grand Master Luke Skywalker and Darth Caedus), I'm pretty sure Bastilla loses that fight. Might not be an absolute curbstomp but Bastilla loses.

While I'd love to see the sith emperor in consideration I don't think there is enough information on his combat style. From the current material he is definitely more of a scholar/sorcerer type sith.
I was always under the impression that Darth Plagueis was more of a tragic character, that he embraced the dark side of the force in order to protect himself and those he cared about based on Palpatine's description, mirroring what Anakin would eventually do later in the movie. The question I have is that does Plagueis have a good side that hasn't been explored in the expanded universe, or did Palpatine lie to Anakin in order to seduce him to the dark side?

You failed to mention that Vodo-Siosk Baas is also a lightsaber instructor and therefore instructs other Jedi in lightsaber combat which means he has knowledge of all known lightsaber forms
not necesarily, just because he teaches lightsaber combat doesnt necessarily make him have knowledge of all the forms and knowledge of all the forms doesnt necessarily make him able to counter said forms.
A lightsaber instructor does know something about all forms but would have a personal preferance

Another great video. Best versus series on youtube - and i'm not saying that because i like Star Wars. Very detailed, entertaining, well thought out, and informative. Not to mention, always good match-ups.
I'd still like to see Mace Windu vs Anakin Skywalker from Ep. 3 or a video with Satele Shan. But either way, I don't really care. The vids never fail to entertain.
He can only do that with his Meditation Sphere, which greatly enhances his Force Affinity. Also, he was still only able to do it on the largest Red Supergiant. And we all know that, the larger the star, the more unstable the core, the easier for it to go supernova.

The saberstaff is not a simple weapon to use at all. Reason not many jedi use it is because it's as much dangerous to the opponent as it is to the wielder.

Hey Jensaarai, love your videos and keep up the good work. But I wonder, I always wanted to see a versus series video between Darth Krayt and Darth Revan, because despite how different they are, they are also very similar. They were both Jedi at one time, they both use force powers from both the dark and light sides of the force. They both also were resurrected and became stronger than ever because of it. Revan was revived by Bastilla on his warship, while Darth Krayt used Dark Transfer.

That is actually tough.
Mandalore has the physical advantage. Buth jango has the equipment advantage. Better armor and did well against obi wan who was better than most jedi in that time. mandalore who did as well against a jedi knight level revan who was on pare with kenobi at the time. Jango had as better armor, weapons and tricks up his sleeve. I would say fett would win being able to match mandalore in both melee and at range but will be able to out last due to his amor and weapons do much more damage. So I believe fett will win.
Ultimates amor is made out of mando iron so mandalore would take it

Also, think on the bright side, Sideous found you powerful enough to not trust you, and being the conniving man he is, he murdered you at a time where you could not fight back, something he rarely does, preferring to attack outright for his personal amusement.

This guy seems to under estimate Yoda alot for some reason, when really he is very great lightsaber duellist and doesnt just launch himself at his opponents he uses ataru to such a degree yes however uses his blade almost in a form of makashi slipping himself inside his opponents guards with such speeds not even sidious or dooku could deal with

Sever Force actually has a dark side variant.Darth Vitiate (swtor) used it to strip his much more experienced father and other Sith Lords of both their Force abilities and sanity.

a Question: Wouldn't had it been logical that Baas being an obvious an adept in Quarterstaff fighting, that should have been a factor in defending a saber staff? Despite the obvious effects of a saber's blade.some of the motion should have been no different than someone wielding a staff. striking at either end of the weapon
Jensaarai1, a match up of darth...wgatever his name (thr dark lord of the sith that was the force feeder...nhilis...i spell that righ?) and a droid like proxy. the reason being that nhilis couldnt use force drain.. somewhat leveling the playibg field
he could just use force augmentation to such a high degree no droid could keep up.
That was when he, you know, HAD A BODY.

General Grievous vs Pong Krell
Worst Scenarios
Legends Grievous would not only kill Krell, he would have *DEVASTATED* him. Krell would give him a good fight, but it won’t be a prolong battle, unless Krell is on the run.
Canon Grievous would try to kill Krell, but he would be outclass only by Krell’s use of the Force. The plot would have to play for Grievous to win, which would be more difficult for him to overcome the (fallen) Basalisk (pardon spelling) Jedi Master
You missed a huge part in the Venamis fight, he stopped attacking and went on the defense, this made Venamis get frustrated and attack harder, he got tired and Plagueis saw his chance and went on the attack, so Plagueis did not win by simply smashing through his guard.

Luke has had more experience in dueling he has fought more opponents and and a lot more powerful opponents. Revan virtually has no speed feats, Luke has matched Sidious, someone who would move too fast for Revan to react to or even see. Yes Sidious has done that to characters Like Maul, Anakin, 4 jedi masters, he was too fast for Mace to react before his amp kicked in, so Revan wouldn't even keep up with him.
Melee Defense is a maneuver where the combatant holds back a melee attack's ability to hit in order to be able to more easily block or evade the opponent's next strike. That's my way of explaining the gameplay description, which is as such:
When you use a standard action to make a melee attack, you can take a
penalty of up to -5 on your attack roll and add the same number (up to
+5) as a dodge bonus to your Reflex Defense. This number may not exceed
your base attack bonus. The changes to attack rolls and Reflex Defense
last until the start of your next turn.
Not sure if you know this currently, but I thought I'd give you it.
This seemed a bot of a mismatch and I don't think anyone would think it would end with anything but a Plagueis victory. Admittedly it would be hard to find a good match for Plagueis but a proper vs with Sidious is one instance where it could be interesting. Maybe Windu too (maybe)

Vader Anakin would be on par with a Dark Side amped Luke. But Vader’s mindset would be pure rage at his younger self instead of a conflicted spar with his son. I believe Machine Vader would win.

Finally Plagueis managed to win one.
Revan was a master at telekinesis, utilizing the Force to manipulate the environment and his opponents by pushing or gripping objects of beings with the Force. His skill with telekinesis was such that he could hurl a heavy stone object at a moment's notice, and on Dromund Kaas the Jedi Master destroyed a large stone archway from a great distance with just the power of the Force Revan was proficient at using the Force to directly heal his wounds without seeking medical attention
yes he knows an incredible amount compared to most sith but not much compared to sidious, true i see you point and with bane being able to use a lightsaber as well that might just give him a big enough advantage to win most of the time

I'd quite like to see a video covering Darth Nihilus, because I at least am not sure about whether his accomplishments were down to his raw Force potential or his peculiar Force Drain ability. I'm also quite confused about his Force potential and actual power in the first place, because this side of him is somewhat overshadowed by his Drain ability... Correct me if this comment is stupid, because I don't like seeming stupid, especially about Star Wars...
in terms of force power the two are fairly matched with revan getting the edge in some areas and vader getting the edge in other areas. When looking at revan it was like looking into the heart of the force while vader had the highest midaclorian count the history of the order. Though revan has more force ability's to use then vader and the fact that he can use force abilities that only he can use due to him being a master of both sides and finding balance and clarity between the two.
this is taken directly from the wiki and talks about revans force ability Revan was able to channel both the light and dark sides simultaneously, and as a result Revan could unleash the Force in its purest form by opening himself to both sides of the Force in battle. By drawing on the Force, Revan could bolster his natural physical abilities, increasing his speed and strength and allowing him to perform acrobatic feats impossible for normal Humans

MainHeretic Kyle would beat Jolee due to having a better lightsaber style as a Jedi Battlemaster on par or greater with that of Count Dooku and Mace Windu.

You know. I understand why there are not any videos in the "Versus" series with Darth Nihilus or Darth Sion as contenders. It is probably because anyone who is not a "wound" in the Force are defenseless against Darth Nihilus; that is why the Exile - the only "wound" in the Force - was capable of stopping Darth Nihilus.
Can you review mace windu vs darth nihilus?
I'd say that because Plaugueis can empower is body, and because he is already super humanly strong before force empowerment, I'd say it would take only a few empowered strikes from his blade to shear through baas' staff. Consider also the nature of plagueis, if he so desired, he could hide from baas, and literally will him to die from a distance, slaying him without moving a finger.
reven never proved himself to be on the level of the greats ,his greatest feat his finding the star forge and nearly conquering the galaxy with it which isnt very impressive as he had near unlimited ships and weaponry
(Continued) Lightsaber combat... Sidious didn't teach himself, and Darth Sidious was an extremley skilled duelist. There is no doubt in my mind that Darth Plagueis could hold off Baas and a ton of other Jedi as well. And after reading Darth Plagueis, he has technique, I don't know where "very little technique" came from bro.
that is what i meant by luke being one of the most powerful jedi in the orders history but not the most powerful as some of the other jedi had slight advantages in areas that luke did not while other times they were a draw in ability power or skill some had more experience fighting sith like the jedi that fought the sith wars while others had more light saber skill and others were a draw in force ability revan luke and anakin were probably the orders most powerful members in that order
i know you probably hear this sometimes but you should do some revan videos since he was a very powerful jedi/sith/jedi and there is a lot of information on him

I was thinking Mace Windu vs. Savage Opress. Both are BIG on hand-to-hand combat. While Mace is a master of Vaapad, Savage has Force strength that rivals that of his brother.

Vodo Siok Bass is able to use the Force but when he face exar kun. Both refrain from using force powers as both knows they have powerful force shields to shield from force attacks. Exar kun also have to plan ahead to fight vodo siok bass like construct a customized saberstaff and focus on his master's weakness. Exar kun doesn't pull his punches like how he kill odan urr. exar kun also wants to avoid a long stalling fight as there will be more jedis and they may use force sever on him
Why do you always use Vodo Baas even though you just make him lose?
Some suggestions: Darth Nihilus, vs Darth Malak, Darth Revan vs Palpatine, Mase Windu vs Starkiller. In other word don't always use the same people, it is becoming repetitive.
very good point, and in truth I'm not sure if Revan could stand in comparison to most of them, I just wanted to point out that he did more than JUST uncover the Star Forge. But yeah, Exar may very well take that fight, but it would be close.
You got to do one on Darth Bane, I don't see any Jedi or Sith being able to beat him!
Revan was one of the best tacticians of his time, his was a master of lightsaber combat and used a variety of force powers, plus Revan has faced more powerful duelists during his time as both jedi and sith, all though vader is powerful he just wont be able to keep up with revan's combat ability.
If Plagueis is skilled only in Niman, how is Palpatine a master of all seven.

yes revan never used force speed that i am aware of but revan had more experience fighting enemy combatants that wielded the force or saber think about it after the mandalorian wars he left and returned to fight the republic during this time he fought against a lot of his former jedi then when he was redeemed he fought and killed a lot of the jedi and masters he turned to the dark side then he fought a cold war against the sith empire who had a lot of force and saber users as well

@Wes Bradley-Taubner Especially on a psychological level. Vos might have overcome his Dark Side angst, but something might still linger deep down for Zannah to try and break him with her spells. But yeah, she would be demolished if he uses Vaapad.

She's a skilled lightsaber combatant, has arguably killed more Jedi than Ventress has (included Sharad Hett, a renowned Jedi Knight and skilled duelist), is a master of several weapons, is clever, and has displayed a reasonable ability to . She also has some implants that increase her agility and reaction time. She's an assassin, so I highly doubt that she would fight on terrain even slightly favoring Ventress, and she would capitalize on any advantages she could find.
I personally think that Aurra Sing vs. Asajj Ventress would be a great video. Battle of the Star Wars Femm Fatales!
You should do Shaak Ti versus Ki Adi Mundi or really anyone who you think would be a good matchup with Ki Adi Mundi. He's a really prominent jedi during the Clone Wars, but I don't know much about how powerful he is in combat.
Actually, Plo Koon wasn't seen using Force shields.
And Luke removed Vader's mask when Anakin was DYING. Plo's mask was snatched during combat. So, Savage must've studied Kel Dor biology during his apprenticeship under Tyranus.
Apparently so did Sidious. He waited until Plagueis was completely unable to defend himself before attacking him

I agree that the lightsaber is quite original, nevertheless (again with all due respect), there are finite permutations of jedi/sith match-ups possible. Examples are....
Skilled Duelist/poor force user vs Skilled force user/poor duelist
Generalist vs specialist
White mage vs sith marauder type
Hot headed strong guy vs wiser weaker guy
Natural athlete vs cyborg
Eventually you will run out of novel combatants because there are only so many new things a jedi/sith can bring to the table.
and it provides opportunity's for lots of videos before his fall during his fall and after his fall

same fight as windu vs palpatine which we saw in revenge of the sith
(cont'd) other Jedi in order to permanantly sever Ulic's powers. Considering the number of hours equates to their Dark Side score which in turn equals their Wisdom score which are likely in the double digits for both of them, that's a long time. Especially for Ulic considering LOTS of Jedi utilized their powers on him, I imagine those hours stacked on him. I still agree w/ your outcome however assuming Plagueis would be able to prevent Baas from using that power on him however.
After reading Union. When Mara has a nightmare of being "given" to an evil Luke by The Emperor. It occurred to me that Ben Skywalker might of been a product eugenics instead of love. This is one of the reasons Jedi don't marry.
Lord Hoth, leader of the Jedi's Army of Light and one of the only Jedi Lords vs. Rahm Kota, leader of Kota's Militia and a leader and general for the Rebel Alliance. Both have a focus on lightsaber combat and are essential part of the Jedi Guardian faction. If you can't do Lord Hoth than replace Hoth with Kyle Katarn or Cin Drallig.
