The bridge contour is according to Martin the same shape bridge as their SC-10 and SC-13 guitars. They look better than years past. It’s a nice guitar to play outside in the heat or cold since the materials aren’t as susceptible to those conditions.
Also, the hard wood Martin uses a lot with x series guitars for fretboards and bridges is Katalox. A Mexican hard wood a lot like ebony. Necks are African mahogany usually. Nice videos.

The tops are still solid spruce. Supposedly a bit thinner, so more responsive. I also have a ooox2e, like it a lot.

I have a DX1RAE that was made in 2014. The fingerboard and bridge is made of marato wood. It still plays great.
