One thing I love about ArmA operations like these is that all the soldiers are individual, real people; they’re not just bots, they each have traits, likes, dislikes, and personalities that apply to only that one soldier. The guy wiggling back and forth with the lean mechanic on the roof at the camera at 27:27 is just such a great example of this, and the reason ArmA ops like these come alive.
And when they caught the President, 1 soldier wanted to kill him for the men he lost while another was telling him he can't kill him coz has to answer for his crimes and the first guy begrudgingly agrees and walks off. So good.
Wait, I've never played ArmA. They sound like real people. Are you saying the bots are really well coded or are they real people? I'm confused now.

Makes me want to load up Arma 3 again, but I’m neck deep in learning the F/A-18 and it’s different weaponry over on DCS, which is amazing in its own way.

making the a-10 engine polygonal isn't going to make it less visible on radar. god these devs are braindead. i have very little hope for arma 4. the last good game they made was arma 2

@@afterhours1337 still at early access and the gameplay is different. You see, Arma 3 is like the mother of milsims, real soldiers sometimes use it on trainings and there are varieties of factions, maps, vehicles, weapons scenarios to choose from.
Arma reforger is SQUAD like gameplay where it's basically battlefield but glorified

it always cracks me up seeing the chaos happen on the ground and then seeing how calm and relaxed drewski is in the A-10.
I actually really like A-10 gameplay. Its just a completely diffrent from the rest.
I also love how you show the diffrent perspectives, it adds so much to it
Makes me wanna get back into A3 content creation, I'm more of a rotor-wing AFM guy but the fixed wings are always a ton of fun and extremely satisfying when you get that perfect shot or low pass the infantry with a strafe when they're pinned down. Sweet vid Drewski, looking forward to what the future holds for Arma Reforger mods/Arma 4.

Looks really stressful to play as a pilot, really seems like you need to know what you are doing... fun so spectate through!
Fun fact, Drewski, helicopters pilot sest is opposite from fixed wing. Collective is a left hand operation for the pilot with the cyclic in the right hand. Because the collectives are toward the center of the aircraft, pilot sits in right seat not the left in rotor wing aircraft.

I really hate how criminally underappreciated Arma 3 is when it comes to Air and Tank content on youtube. For every 50k Infantry Videos, theres 1 Air and maybe half a Tank Gameplay, so i always appreciate these Videos extra.

Is he consistently timing those bomb drops every time the CCIP is over the target? If so, that's super impressive.
Depends if he has a lase from the JTAC on the ground, if so then no he just needs to release the bomb when the CCIP is roughly in the area of the target, if there is no lase then he is dumb firing them with the CCIP
Some bomb drops were laser guided (GBU-12) any others (Mk82) were timely left clicks :)
yea its pretty hard but you can make it easier by getting the aproach right

I have this game from a bundle I got a while back, but Imma be honest I'm - for lack of a better word - too scared to play it for how complicated it seems.
It does take some time to learn especially with mods but the way I learned was joining a group through r/findaunit and most of the guys there were willing to help teach all the intricate details
It’s as complicated as you want it to be - just start small (infantryman) and build your way up. It’s all good! ;)

Anybody else notice what (I think) was a 2nd perspective of the ground view at 14:13, you see them shoot at the enemy on the roof and then from Drewski's POV you can see a bunch of tracers fly up shortly after.

Man this is a good game with very chunky physics, kills all the realism vibe. I don't even wanna try it when I see the player model movements. And the visuals are implemented that seems like it's always lagging/stuttering.
Best way to explain it is a pilot deals with a 2d plain, a gunner plays in 3d plain
