you are a godly :) my dealer tried to sell me a sunshade for 1500$ without labour :/ thats more than the entire maintenance list on my 730D msport. this is acceptable for a fix but 1500 get F BMW seriously i like the cars but the company has a real problem towards its clients. it doesn't mean that we have money that all of it has to go to silly maintenance problems :/
Similar situation with the coolant transfer pipe. The aftermarket community designed a collapsible pipe that does not require the disassembly of the entire engine.
