Great review I have these lights but never fully implemented them. Thanks to your video i'll put them to use. Now the bag is it over a flash or a regular light thanks.
The drawback with these is not only the inconsistant flash power. But a non standard fixture mount. The modifiers are basic with no way to attach grids. But as a basic starter pack they are usuable. But you will out of them if you take to studio photography..
Still Kainda confused about that, but in theory the colour gel should show up on the subject but I can't seem to see that on the subject that's why I thought maybe you edited the grey back drop after the shoot. I guess my question is can colour gels change a back drops colour that much to a different colour
JC CRISPIN RHYMER if the light is behind the subject and pointed to the background there is little spill over to the subject. You can see from the red and yellow gels that it did not affect the subject.
I bought one of these and mine literally blew up and went up in smoke with my first use... now it bounces back and forth between ready and not ready and beeps. Any suggestions if it’s fixable? Lol

I would only tape it to the front only, next time. so they unit runs cooler.

haha Enjoy the bag trick but just cover the front of the flash and not the whole flash like I did.

No, the modeling light is too week.
Any way to disable the annoying beeping noise?
