You saved my life today. I spent all night trying to figure out why it wasn't working. I've tried turning off the live off in my canon and finally the strobe worked. Thank you

Thanks for explaining this. I watched about a dozen videos on unboxing and setup of these and similar devices. You were the only one that didn't spend all the time unboxing, bragging, or talking about random life crises. Thank you for this straight forward, no nonsense explanation. After watching it, I set up my whole studio system in about 45 minutes after months of seeing it just sit in the box on the floor. Thanks again!

Thank you!!!! I have been trying to figure out why my Neewer strobes and transmitter wouldn’t synch right. Then you mentioned that a Cannon couldn’t be in “live mode” with the LCD. I have a Fujifilm X-T20 and thought I’d give it a shot, put it in view finder mode and it worked!! You’re a life saver!

Had to test this out for my lighting class to make sure my strobe lights were working, thank you so much!! Total lifesaver.

This was a big help. I was trying to get my newwer portable monolight to work with my godox FC-16 triggers which is the same brand as the neewer tc-16 with my canon cameras and it would work for some reason. I saw your video and I disable live view and Viola it works with no problem.

Thank you sir! This setting video helped me a lot. There are a lot of Neweer strobe and flash lights videos in YT, but none of them cover full details on how to actually use the products, and can you believe NONE of them explain how to sync the remote trigger? After hours of searching I found your video, I was getting frustrated nobody explained it, but thankfully you did, thanks for doing it and helping people in need out there. Here's a very well deserved like. Hope it helps to the algorithm so that more people find it. Thank you. Oh and extra kudos for the Canon Camera tip, it solved me another issue I had.

Very good video. The battery replacement for the transmitter is terrible. Neewer made the fix with the FC16. I believe you may use the ct16 receivers with the fC16 transmitter.

I like these wireless triggers for indoors, but outdoors they do not work that good. Also I found out that things like ambulances, police cars or firetrucks can set these things off. I once thought there was a ghost in my house because my strobes kept going off by themselves. Then I looked outside and saw a police car parked accross the street.

So this is just one piece of the puzzle and doesn’t really allow me to do wireless shooting. So here are my questions…
How do i get the flash to go off when i take a pic? How do i make it work when the trigger and receiver aren’t connected via a wire?
My goal is to have a wireless flash

I have two strobes and so two receivers and one trigger on the hot shoe.. I have all three set to channel 1. I'm new to studio photography, but on the last two shoots I have had problems getting my camera to sync with the strobes consistently. When I press the test button on the trigger the strobes flash, but when press the shutter on the camera sometimes it will flash and other times won't even let me take a photo. Any ideas? Thanks

There is a 12V battery. Usually the screw to open it up is hidden under a sticker on the underside.

So what I don't understand is how do I get channel 7? Or even 12? Is it like an addition thing or something? Like 2+3 = channel 5? Etc? That is what confused me. I use Alien Bees. Appreciate any help! :)

you're overthinking it...set the switches on the trigger and receiver to match that's all there is to it.
