Thanks for the prompt update. Was going to mention it but you're way ahead of me. Keep up the good work! Love what you do. Best COD content creator by far!
@titkus titkus Doesnt seem like it. He didnt mention anything. Tuning only does so much. Not as tho it will make the gun anything special. Sure, it can help, will depend on the players playstyle.
you should do some of the testing at much further ranges. i currently max out my bullet velocity as i tend to snipe at very far distances. my furthest hit was 723m and my furthest kill has been 675m. theres some difference in bullet drop at thos distances between the snipers with max velocity but im curious what the drop would be like if you minimized the velocity.
The whole tangent/explanation of drag and how it affects bullets was fantastic. The combination of a solid understanding of how real ballistics / technical elements work and *also* how video game design works, and how those overlap, is such a huge part of what makes your content amazing. :D
Correction: While the MCPR states that it is in .338 magnum in the description, it is actually in .300 Norma Mag. Going into the gunsmith, the ammo desc. on the receiver states it is in .300 Norma Mag, the ammo is in .300, and in game, it states either .300 NM or .300 Norma Mag. .300 Norma and .300 Winchester Magnums are somewhat similar in ballistics, which may explain the similar trajectories. It is strange however, that we have no sniper offering in .338 Lapua in game at the moment, despite it being the most widely used sniper caliber in the world.
Never wanted a channel to succeed more than yours and it makes me happy whenever I see larger RUclipsrs mention your channel by name. Love what you do, brother. Wish you the best.
At 2:40 when u get into a confusing monologue about muzzle velocity and air resistance, I couldn’t help but laugh. I dunno what the heck you’re talking about but that’s why I keep coming back and will always come back. You are a smart man, and the work u do is outstanding and appreciated. There is no one like u. We love u.
Just a quick note you can't equip the barrel and muzzle you have for your max BV build for the victus at the same time the other barrels you can just not that one
One nuance for the stat bars is that, since they are made up of multiple different values they can cancel each other out sometimes and appear worse than they are depending on your goal. Example: The Fennec's ZLR 16.5" Ignition Barrel gives: +Recoil Control and -Hip Recoil Control. But because the Hip Recoil Control penalty is greater, the star bar actually shows a net loss in "Recoil Control" even though it's a net positive for ADS Recoil Control.
The great thing about WZ 2 is that supressors are no longer a must have, and hitting someone at 100-200 meters does not require destroying your ADS and movement speed for bullet velocity. I really like how the cavalry barrel looks on SPX, though i wish i could combine it with a muzzle(not a supressor) for non existent recoil. At the moment though from my experience a compensator(or other recoil reduction muzzles) seem to work as well if not better than cavalry barrels, while not reducing your ADS and movement speed, though you do not get any bullet velocity, which though is not that much really.
Best channel to go to if you want to know the nitty gritty details of how to find the right gun with the right attachments to compliment them. You’re the best TGD nobody else does what you do and go to this extensive testing
This is definitely useful information. I’d say most of the snipers perform the same (in terms of BV) with the exception of the Victus. It really comes down to which one you feel the most comfortable with. Also the optic definitely matters when it comes to accuracy and actually using all the little notches to determine bullet drop is super useful.
oh boy, the amount of work that has to be put in these testings and charts is unbelievably long. I can see now why there is no attachment statistics (yet). Hope you keep your mind sane doing this. Great job as always and thanks.
Amazing work, as always! Your willingness to do this level of detailed and tedious work makes it easy to support your site. Thank you so much for your work.
Man, I have to upgrade my TGD subscription. The amount of insight we get from these videos is priceless. Hope with the mid season update enough changes so that you will also enjoy playing the game! Thanks for all you do for us! 👏🏻
Definitely appreciate all the hard work you do for us who are curious about the best ways to set guns up and for people like me who are honestly just curious about the actual stats of weapons
Super appreciate all the work you put into this. Are you sure you can rely on the visible tracers to measure bullet velocity in WZ2? I recall in WZ1 you found there was a discrepancy between the visual tracer effect and the "real" bullet in terms of hit registration (made extra clear when the SPR was hitscan because the tracers still appeared to have travel time and bullet drop even though you'd get a hitmarker on a target immediately).
TGD discovered correct weapon tuning ( only after TGD video some other youtubers started making videos about this topic ) and now this :O some great knowledge thanks for confirming about stat bars and giving us all this data ;)
I know it sucks to crunch the numbers for everything. I appreciate it more than you know. It’s helped me for a long time. Please keep up the good work!!
Been waiting on this video. Thank you! Two thoughts: 1. Having similar bullet behavior independent of caliber may be intended because getting loadouts is so much less likely in WZ2. So a groundloot sniper is more likely to be useful without knowing exactly what attachments are on it. 2. Edit: nvm. Just thank you for your work!
I was just wondering about BV for snipers. I would love to see a follow-up video to this showing the amount of bullet drop for each gun and if any attachments alter the amount of drop significantly.
Corrected Max BVs:
Signal 50 - Bruen Counter Ops (+30%), 29" TV Kilo-50 (+20%), High Velocity Ammo (+45%), 1470 m/s
MCPR - FTAC Reaper/Nilsound/Bruen Agent 90 (+30%), 22" OMX-456 (+12%), High Velocity Ammo (+45%), 1647 m/s
LA-B - FTAC Reaper/Nilsound/Bruen Agent 90 (+30%) , 23.5 Fluted R-67 (+3%), High Velocity Ammo (+45%), 1514 m/s
SP-X - FTAC Reaper/Nilsound/Bruen Agent 90 (+30%), High Velocity Ammo (+45%), 1470 m/s
Victus - Bruen Counter Ops (+30%), Mack 8 33.5 Super (+16%), High Velocity Ammo (+45%), 1706 m/s
Grow a mullet, you've got the power!

So what's the best sniper for warzone?

Can’t thank you enough for putting in the work brother

Love how they put an awm lookalike in the game and chamber it in 50 bmg
@@davitdavid7165 the ax50 is the successor to the aw50.
@@davitdavid7165 the beowulf?
I wonder if the differences are to further avoid licensing fees for the real life guns
@@alorem123 I mean it is the AW-50

Love your hard work for the community

He corrected it in his pinned comment
Thanks for good data!
Just supporting the algorithm

If anyone is building a spx or lab, remember that the cavalry barrel doesn't allow you to put a suppressor on.
Cool, the game will also show that too lol

Appreciate the effort and seriousness you put in your videos… keep up the good work
You're simply amazing for doing all this!

You're an absolute treasure. This game wouldn't be the same without you.
Thank for this!! And also confirming the bars work and make sense, haven’t really trusted them since the last MW.

Appreciate all the work you did for this!
The effort you put in for these videos is unmatched. Thank you
I was hoping you would drop this video, thanks for putting in the work!
Thanks for clearing that about stat bars. People are straight up saying it lies with no evidence.
Awesome work, man! Thanks for putting in the time so we don't have to!
Thank you for this content. It's fantastic having empirical data support my experiential "data points".
Always a pleasure watching these types of videos from you! You are the stat goat in the cod and warzone community!
I’ll always support when you ask because you’ve earned it!

The better way would be to test with bots in Dmz or in a private match.
Hey I know you
absolutely not, go into ground war with a sniper with a lot of bullet drop and you'll notice the marker is at least 0.5 seconds late.
Thanks Tony, really appreciate your hard work!!
TGD discovered correct weapon tuning ( only after TGD video some other youtubers started making videos about this topic ) and now this :O some great knowledge thanks for confirming about stat bars and giving us all this data ;)
Fantastic work Tony. Thank you so much.
glad to learn about velocity and that the stat estimate bars are based on something
Underrated and valuable down to each second of video. No fluff.
We appreciate all your effort and time a LOOOOT tony. Cheers from Portugal
Big thanks for doing these kinds of analyses.
Im loving the Victus with high velo bullet mod. One of my favorite snipers in years, it compares to the SPR when it was hella broken (pre nerfs)
Great work again Tony!!
Good job man, appreciate the effort you go to.
Love your vids bro, appreciate the hard work you put into it
thanks i have been waiting for this for a long time
Amazing video Tony!!
