all good mate. yes, i switchet to accel about 3 months ago. currently using RWS 5,5 - 8 (that's a 1.455x accel from the base sens of 5,5) with a offset (to make accel not kick-in when i'm tracking). Vertical sens is at a 0.5625x multiplier. i want to make a video about my settings soon😅
Do you hold the controller in the air for moving?, also what sens do you use (rws), I’m still trying to figure out what the best position is to hold the controller with Gyro
i rest my elbown on some "vaydeer armpads", so my forarms and hands are in the air. but i think probably the best position for gyro is leaning forward and resting your elbows on your thighs. I currently play at RWS 5,5 - 8 (accel with offset), 0.5625x Vertical ratio.
@@robiimadot.9273 there are some thing you can do, hard to det in details with a youtube comment. But you cam reduce your vertical sens by 50%-60% (especially if you're playing RWS 6+) You can use acceleration, which starts at a pretty low sens of like 3 or 4 with 2x accel. If you're using JSM or Steam Input, you can experiment with "precision speed" and "deadzones". i gotta ask something: how, if you turn right, does the controller motion in game reset itself, that if you want to go even further right, u dont have to do a whole 360, you now what i mean?😂
@@buergermeistaa Gyro behaves like a mouse, it only moves the camera if you move the controller. If you turn the controller "x" degrees right, the camera will only turn "x" degrees right and as soon you turn it left, the camera will instantly turn left. unlike a analog stick, where you have to crosd the mid-point of the stick. For a full 360° ingame, i have to turn the controller ~30°-45° (can't tell the exact number on top of my head, because i use acceleration). But the degrees one have to move the controller to do a ingame 360°, depends on the RWS (Real World Sensitivity) someone uses. RWS 1 = 1 physical 360° turn of the controller = 1 360° turn ingame. RWS 8 = 1 physical 360° turn of the controller = 8 360° turn ingame. Hope that explains it a bit, it's hard to explain in a few words. I want to make a more detailed video about my settings soon😄

Alpakka gyro does only mouse output, so i i've to set the "aiming input" ingame to mouse and therefore not get aim assist. and native gyro disables AA when gyro is active. mobile IMUs aren't better than Alpakka / DS5 IMUs

Considering building an alpaka controller. How is the remaper software? Also does it work with steam or rewasd

My only problem with gyro is that high sens feels natural to turn and aim but i shake on high sens, can you give me a tip on what and how to improve.

When you turn on gyro does the game turn off the aim assist?? By the way gyro in controllers are wrong they should be like mobiles
