Yes, I think so, too! His "Under the Sea" from The Little Mermaid, "Beauty and the Beast" from the same title, "A Whole New World" from Aladdin, and many others, are excellent and I love them. And as an orchestration, his technique is spectacular and remarkable. He is a melody magician.

I think this pattern is characteristic of Alan Menken's works, with repetition of a short phrase with the same tones in sequential varying codes before the ending. This pattern can be seen also in "Under the Sea" of The Little Mermaid and "A Whole New World" of Aladdin, and you can find this easily before the ending part!

Yes, I made (reconstructed) this, Frollo's part by copy-by-ear and Quasimodo's part from a copy of the autograph, inputing notes manually into a Finale score file, recording the playback using Garritan into a wav file, creating frames with words changing each syllable's color one by one, combining and synchronizing the wav and the frames by syllables into a movie file; all by myself.
