My grandfather passed away in 2012, and every year on his birthday the family gathers at his grave and I sing this song because it was his favorite. It always brings tears to my mom and aunts.

Been hearing this song all my life by Frank Sinatra and many others and singing it for the last 40 years or so in Weddings, Private Parties, Birthdays, etc. Definitely it is a song that people relate to very easy because it tells a story from the beginning to the end since every body lives their life the way they want to. I have had the opportunity to sing it in every cruise I have taken with my family and won the first prize as the Voice of the Sea. !What a wonderful experience! Now at 63, I can only say, you sing your way while I sing My Way.

I sang this song in numerous local shows and also performed it at the Rogers Centre in Toronto in auditions leading up to Canada's Got Talent in 2012. Just like Frank Sinatra, it remains my national anthem.

This was my grandfathers last words to my grandmother before he passed and knew it was over, “Claire, I did it my way.” That story stood out to me as a kid and my first tattoo was “My Way” across my chest. His fav song and he really did do it his way. Years later, I’m sitting in the car alone trying to sing it like Frankie.

Went for my last visit of my great friend Frank in hospice last year, the nurses told me that he would be "non responsive" - Really? I will change that right now...Sinatra was his favorite, so I put the Sinatra version on and held the phone close to his ear... didn't take long for his eyes to well up. I knew he was still there, that I would get a reaction out of him by playing this for him. When the song was over he looked up at me and gave me a big smile as if to say yes, I did do it my way. I will always keep this last memory of Frank Luna. Rest in peace my friend-
This was my Grandfathers favorite song, hell, he even died listening too it. It makes me cry whenever I hear it. It makes me realize of all the things that I never got to do with him. It's a beautiful song.

Recently me and my family stumbled upon the fact that I have a good singing voice because one of my other cousins can sing pretty well too. Even my older brother thought it was pretty good, so that’s how I know they aren’t lying. When they found out about this, my Dad showed me this song and said he would love it if I could sing it next time the family comes over. So I’m gonna do it (and also probably listen to a lot of Frank Sinatra).
