Thank you for being one of very few RUclipsrs to actually show how your short YOUR hair actually was. I feel like some take pictures from other people to use it as click bait and others have never actually really had short hair. YOURE THE BEST!!!!
Thank you! 🤍
Exactly I agree !
same it's really annoying when they do that lol
I know right
Yeah
Trimming every 3-6 months and deep conditioning every 1-2 weeks will really keep your hair from breaking off and keep it thick 🖤🖤🖤
ty
Please what conditioner did you use?
@@airquiyah currently I just use this banana deep conditioning mask from Taliah Wajid and I put honey (yeah the kind you eat) on my strands and neem oil on my scalp and strands. The last 2 are optional but it doesnt really matter what you use as long as it's good for your specific hair and you do it often 🤎
@@airquiyah also I really reccomend doing your wash day in twists. It saves so much time and breakage because you dont have to keep detangling cuz it's detangled until you're ready to style
@@JanieBee please is the conditioner available on market or it's homemade?
In 4.5 years my natural hair looked like your 12 months 😢 Your hair grew a lot
faster than mine.
its how you maintain it. Im sure you gowth isnt much slower. ITs all about lenght retention. So anything that prevents breakage. Starts with healthy moisturised hair. Aside from that , dont go to heavy handed on protective styles. IF not done corectly its doing the opposite of potecting the hair.. Try and see in your own regime , what might cause your breakage. There's no way your hair grows so slow compaed to this lady
@@misterae6430 But you also have to realise it comes down to genetics. Some grow much slower than others and they use the right products and techniques to maintain their hair.
Literally it took 4 months to grow her hair to the length mine is in almost 3 years
@@hopeshupe3244 surely theres to much breakage . yourhair cannot be that slow o
Literaly my hair took twice as long to grow, I do it all. Protective style, wash day trimming. I just think it's genetics.
This made me smile! What a beautiful journey! It’s the healthiness and the growth for me😍
Thank you!
@@AsiaChar what did you use your hair’s amazing
@AsiaChar yeah your hair is beautiful
@@AsiaChar your so pretty and I love how long your hair is
Your hair understood the assignment! Homework done! Exams passed! The trophy is your natural crown 😏😎 Love to see it 😍
Your hair at 13 months is what I've gotten at 2 years, omg!!!! I also cut off my entire hair. Your growth is amazing and hair is beautiful and heaaaallllltttthhhy!!!
Facts i trying some new metors on my hair cause i not seeing length just fullness
@@BrookeHalliwelll-xx4sl
What have you been doing to make it full? I need that😂
@@thecosmicchild8947 alot of steams alot of moisture
@BrookeHalliwelll-xIx4sl I've been natural for 1 year and 3 months now i keep on seeing length but my hair isn't as thick and full as my friends 4c hair but it's longer😢
How can i make it fuller?
Out of all hair growth journey I only trust you cause you’ve shown real results ❤️🔥 new sub!
I just cut all my hair in the mirror two nights ago. I feel free. My mom relaxed my hair for the first time when I was in HEADSTART!!!! Smh. I’ve always had thick hair it’s still thick now even after the big chop. I’m excited to see what my crown does over the next few years! Thanks for sharing this you’ve motivated me 🥹
Wow! I love seeing time lapses like this. Your hair looks so healthy. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you for being real and honest and not just all extensions like so many others do. This video really made me feel better about my 2+ year natural hair growth journey.
The fact that you stayed consistent with your progress and journey! 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
Wow you really did that! What an inspiring journey! Happy New Year!!
Thank you! Happy New Year!
Yes i was about to write exactly the same comment
A Kisa ou fè yo pouse?
You are so beautiful! This was such a fun video and very inspiring to see such progress! I haven’t seen someone go from bald to long hair before and this is just what I’ve been looking for, most people start from their chin or their shoulders down for the hair growth and that isn’t as extreme.
Very realistic. I’m on year 3-4 and about the same length as yours..a bit shorter as I am very scissors happy and trim often. Used to think mine wasn’t growing but this has shown me otherwise. 🙂
What did u use or do
This should be in a museum somewhere. Thank you for your storytelling through hair.💕
So inspiring. It’s giving me old skool youtube vibes
I just stumbled upon this video to see where should my hair be at year 4 and with the hair trims I am spot on with my hair growth, this is exactly where my hair is thanks 😊 ❤️💯💪🏾
This video is awesome and inspiring. And the dedication you had to keep up with the updates for FOUR YEARS! Just wow!
Thank you so much! 🤗🩵
The consistency is admirable!!
I haven't blow dried my hair in a while. I think I'm armpit length. In a couple years should reach your length. Truly motivational video. Thanks for sharing
I love NEAT, CHRONOLOGICAL Videos like this💯 Beautiful hair 💕
Wow! What a beautiful journey 😍… I’m 2yrs, 7mos and I can’t wait to finally get a blowout and see how far I’ve come. Excited! Think I’ll do that at my 3yr mark.
I'm 2 yrs and 3months 😁💜
@@omanamalgas7725 🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽💕
wow,!!
Your video is the best I've seen so far. Great job!
I love this video you did. I also did the big chop in 2020 on my hair. Since the chop my hair has grown within the two year span slightly above the middle of my back. I’ve been consistent with implementing a hair care routine and trimming when needed. I can’t wait to see how much I’ve achieved when I reach my year three marker. 😆
I have been waiting for this video:) full of inspiration you taught me how to take care of my natural hair thank you
Thank you!
Your video is the first video that I've ever seen someone actually do a big chop and let their hair grow back I totally appreciate that. Thank you and your hair is gorgeous! 👑💜
Thank you so much!!🤍
She said length RETENTION 😍💕💕
So beautiful sis! Thank you for creating this and sharing with us! 🤍
This is what I've been looking for for a long time from when you had little to much❤❤
Thank you for this thoughtful video, for the time and effort into the video. It encouraged me to continue on in my natural hair journey.
Beautiful hair journey and straight to the point!!!
This is 🤩. Great documentation of your journey! Very encouraging
Beautiful hair❤️ I'm definitely going to finally get back to waist length this year. Life and school made me spend less time moisturizing my hair as often as I should. I will get back to youtube in 2023. The first video will be my trim before the next growth journey.👏
I loved it. Thank you for sharing the pictures with us and proving that we can actually grow our hair.
Please keep growing your hair! Very beautiful!!
Sensational growth, congratulations mother to be💕💕
Thank you!
She's pregnant!!!!! Omg!!!! Yesssss, I love it ❤️💯
What did you use to grow your hair please
This has rekindled my hope for growing my hair long
Thank you for showing us your journey and documenting this.
This was soooo encouraging ❤😊 I keep rewatching it! Adding it to my hair inspiration album ✨ 🌱💁🏽♀️
This was very satisfying to watch❤😍
Your hair grew out beautifully 👏👏
this are literally all my highschool years...im motivated🥰
Thank for sharing I'm a lil late, but I loved your journey you have amazing and beautiful hair. I just did my second big chop in August I haven't hit the first month yet. Your video just gave me hope that as long as I keep my hair routine up ik that it'll grow.
My hair grew back fast after a big chop too. Its long however I want it longer. It's a couple inches pass my shoulders. I haven't came up with a hair regimen yet which is why I'm here. I don't do much to my hair but I want to change that, a little. Thanks for sharing.
This is the most realistic hair growth journey. Very nice, thanks for sharing ❤
Thank you so much 🤗
@@AsiaChar nice hair journey
This is what I needed to see thank u so much.
I'm sitting here with a short women's fade now. Hopefully by the end of this year I get to come back to this video & just fall in love with hair growth❤️
Love this wow 👏 😍 I wish I can document my hair like this cause we think our hair is not growing but actually it grows more than we think 😅
I should have went natural 24 yrs ago when I got all my hair cut because it broke off really bad, but I didn’t know a thing about natural hair. Now at 55 I’m 4 yrs but only half the length of yours. Love your hair.
Beautiful. Thank you for the progress pics
Best Natural hair growth journey video
I'm at year two, and my length is the same as your year two. 🤗I'm looking forward to year 3-4. 🤗Your hair is beautiful and healthy!❤
You did THAT. ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS. I'm following you. I see you 😍
Your hair shrinkage is amazing
This was the best hair journey video I've seen. The visual representation was a big help!
This made me feel better about my hair journey ❤❤
I loved this video! Cathartic!
Love the video. I am restarting my natural hair journey. Which I started this year but I didn’t do a big chop at all. I’m going to grow my hair throughout what I have and legit like 3-4 months since I’ve started my hair is flourishing because I literally got my own regimen to retain moisture & length. I feel probably by 2024 my journey will be completed but I’m going to make sure my ends always trim throughout the process to. Thank you this is very inspiring 🫶🏾☀️
Yaas gurl! You did that. 🎉
Your hair is long and beautiful I pray it continues to grow
Thank you girl for that realistic inspiration
That smile at the end of the video said, "Look at what my patience and consistency brought me!" and I just asdkhlfgherogjvlgjefk , because you did that!
Thank you, that's realistic growth
This just gave me hope
The Dedication! ❤❤😮😮😮❤❤❤❤
Is it me or did her hair grow so fast?
she must have manure in it
In all honesty it seems about normal when your keeping the hair healthy and hydrated and retaining majority of the length
It's normal when you're taking care of your hair and when it's healthy. I'm a black woman with am afro hair thatvi cut, then it grew out so fast, eo i can tell.
Absolutely love this video and you're pretty ! This video inspired me much 🙂
ve been growing my hair out since 2022..? i wanna say its gotten so long and super thick cant wait for my 4 years to come up and see my growth my trick that i used you guys was protectives styles i didnt use ay oils or treatments just a wash with shampoo conditioner deep conditioner and proctective styles it works very well!!!
Your hair is so healthy. The growth is breathtaking, nice job.
Is there like a clue for us on how to achieve this as well?
Omg Hi Asia!!! I get so excited when I see someone with the same name!
Hey Asia Girl!! Me too!
aww 11 months came out beatiful
Wonderful to see this update.
Thanks for allowing me to find a beautiful score that makes me smile.
You wore it well from the big chop to current. Brava!
I keep coming back to this video for motivation.
WOW! Very inspiring!
Well I am thoroughly impressed!
amazing very encouraging .Plus you got a janet jackson kind of smile!
I want my hair to grow like that!! I know it will
Going on this journey again but taking it seriously this time . I get upset that my hair isn’t growing but I go days without moisturizing it , months without trimming , never sat down to figure out what my hair likes and doesn’t like and go two weeks without washing my hair .
I know my hair needs to be washed every week , water is my best friend , my hair likes olive and coconut oils , blue magic is the truth and I need to learn how to properly trim my hair .
OMG I am exactly the same and near enough in the exact same predicament. I big chopped my hair in 2020 and my hair is no way near hers 3 years later and I just feel so upset that it isn't growing at the rate it should be. But I'll be honest, when I cut my hair I didn't really know what to do, what my hair liked or didn't like and I was a bit lazy. The middle of the pandemic made it hard to source supplies and I was going through a stressful and upsetting relationship at the time. Then the next year I bleached my hair twice and it broke and dried out massively. I want to start again but I know I won't be happy taking 10 steps back so i'm dedicated to trimming every 4-6 months, deep conditioning, twists, braids outs, protective styles and being direct with correct products for my hair! I Hope your hair journey is going well. :)
Omg it's like magic lol. Very inspiring since I just cut my hair back to ear length.
Amazing hair journey, just gained a new subscriber
I hope the process and all the routine , that kind of stuff😹 ( what it took you to achieve it) can be found on your channel
Come Thru with the real results 😍😍🥰🥰😍 YOU ARE THEE GOAT FOR THIS VIDEO ASIA
Please keep us updated ❤
Nice, it's very inspiring! I'm hoping i'll get there too!
I cut my hair bold 3 months ago. My hair is growing slow. It will be 4 months on December 7th. I been putting black castor oil and miele oil on my hair. Hopefully I will see better results in the 7 or 8 month mark. Your hair is sooo long and healthy. That's how I want my hair to grow. I always had long hair i just had thin edges .
I’m about to do my bc in December, soooo excited
Cool video!
Great video !! ♥️
I truly miss my long my hair lol it's time for me to get back on track of taking better care of my hair now. I love your journey it's very inspiring!💪🏽💪🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽
Amazing...now I want to start over too..very inspiring.
I'm just...😱 I'm in awe rn. I'm wowed 😨
That was so satisfying to watch🤤😁
Love this video & your beautiful hair 😍
Flowing & Lovely, thank you. 😊
wow gorgeous hair!!
Same as me! My hair is 4 years old this August and is a little shorter but also around mid back. I didn't do a big chop though. I transitioned and then cut off the relaxed ends after about a year. It's so weird to see hair growth that's nearly identical to mine! 🤗
How do you grow your hair
Please do a year 5 and 6 this fun and inspiring to watch ❤ ^-^
A part of me wants to cut it and the other part of me still wants to see how long I can get it. 🤷🏿♀️
I’m sure I’ll make it to Year 5 though.
@@AsiaChar Hello, I didn't understand what you did with your hair to grow??
