Is there a reverse video to this. I had the one with the light but now I have the fan only. The house wires has two sets of wires where the new kit only has one.
I'm not an electrician, but I assume that you have two switches - one for the light and one for the fan? Personally, if that is the case, I would just cap the unused wires with wire nuts. We actually set up 4 of our ceiling lights like that (when we built the house) just in case we wanted to add a two switch light/fan in our living room, bed rooms, etc.

Our old ones weren't bad, but the new ones have lights and are quieter.
