He’s so fearless. I’ve always admired him. He’s skilled, he speaks 7 languages, and he respects everyone’s cultures. My friend met him and I’m so jealous! We live on the Chesapeake bay. She met him at a local restaurant and told her he was there to fish, no surprise there lol.

My mother met him he came to Canada to catch a pike and my mother was the news reporter that took his story down for the local news paper

One thing I loved about this show were the small glimpses of culture and lore of each fish and location he went to.

This has got to be the most authentic tv show ever aired. I’m sure some things are staged to an extent, but it’s so real basically all the time
i think they definitely dramatize the stories and the actual danger of the fish as any show of this nature obviously would, but all the fishing and actual action seems genuine
Another thing that is quite unique about Jeremy Wade and his performances, catches and narrations are very entertaining and at the same time not overly flamboyant. Yeah, there’s a really good amount of drama especially in the dramatizations of the attacks and the cuts between commercials (as any tv show will have) but these don’t really take away from the quality of the show.
This is heavily opinionated however, so I wouldn’t use this as a source for any debate on the authenticity of the show. Just my personal view 👍🏼🤙🏼

I used to have an anaconda- a yellow anaconda. It was a family pet that we had for fourteen years but when we were moving to a town with different by-laws it was illegal to bring him with us. He now loves happily at a Reptile zoo in Ontario and we visit him a few times a year. I now have four snakes but the biggest one is about seven feet. They really are incredible animals to watch and interact with.

@Tristan Wright That's where the AIDS virus came from, eating tainted monkey meat. The monkeys had SIV then it mutated into HIV which can cause AIDS. These idiots still hunting and eating monkeys have never learned and never will. Primates are too close to humans to be consuming them, it's too easy for the viruses and diseases they have to mutate to affect humans.
