I think Jeremy Wade might be the coolest man in the world. Humble king
I think you kind of have to expect to find bull sharks in Florida, but the real surprise would be finding them far up the Mississippi river or in the rivers of New York.
They've been found pretty far up the Mississippi River, well over 1,000 miles into Illinois and almost 2,000 miles up the Amazon. Bull sharks can recycle and regulate the salt in their bodies from when they leave the ocean which is how they can live fine in both salt & freshwater. They've also been found in the Potomac River. 🦈 Although actual attacks are very rare. Often bites are accidental, they mistake us for something else or bite out of curiosity, not because they want to kill and eat us. They just have such sharp teeth and so many of them, often they do so much harm a bite can be very serious, occasionally even fatal. But think of how many people do use the ocean and don't get bitten. It really is rare.
Humans kill so many millions more sharks every year. It's awful.
New York is too polluted I think...
@@metalmamasue3680 yes, I was being ironical.
Or in the Missouri state line and Illinois man they’re huge and the last thing you’d expect to see when on a barge tugboat. Like effin jaws but meaner and faster.
@@metalmamasue3680 there’s literally billions of sharks in our oceans im sure they’ll be fine.
0:48 damn! That reel looks like a drum kit!
The fact this Eddy guy lassowed an Alligator Gar is funny to me.
There are no trash fish, only trash anglers. Gar are native, more than I can say for brown trout, common carp, tilapia, chiclids, big heads, silvers and many more species.
Texans aren't exactly known for being open minded or non-discriminatory
Ecofascist you

I thought Jermy Wade had stopped making this show! Much respect to monsters of the deep!
Amen! And these are repeats.

Absolute legend 😎🔥
There is something so satisfying about Jeremy Wade saying "In part makes me understand why America is called Land of the Brave".
it is called that only by Americans, everywhere else in the world it is called land of the deluded morons
@@ashleyhoffman4117 and the rest of the world isn't?
Bravery and stupidity are very close cousins ;)
@@erueru2014 Perhaps, but both can come in handy.
Your very brave total respect thank you for another great video 👍
The fish caught by jeremy wade makes me jealous
Great video keep them coming
Sharks are stunningly beautiful animal's. Good ol Jezza. Bless and Takecare
"Trash Fish" it's quite literally a dinosaur, how dare they call dino fish trash.
You fish for them?
@@tylerhamblen2591 I wish, ain't got em in New England.
I totally agree. Anything that has survived that long, despite humans best attempts to kill them, (like other predators often accused without concrete proof), deserves MUCH respect. I think Gar are very cool fish and I hope they rebound and build up a plentiful supply.
They serve a purpose or they wouldn't be here in the first place. 😃👍
I don't remember getting the memo that your opinion is more important than anyone else's. Butthead
@@esa56 His opinion is more based on reality than the opinions of those hillbilly fishermen who can’t tell a carp from a sturgeon.
This my type of wade
Jeremy wade is for sure badass
Did anyone else notice Wade's reel switch from a TLD15 to a Tiagra several times during the gar fight?
Yes. What’s up with that?
Uau Espetacular isso é formidável
Saludos desde Argentina Buenos Aires 🇦🇷🐟🙋♂️🎣

😂😂😂
I’ve seen 1 alligator gar in the wild, in my life.
In Missouri at Clarence Cannon Dam, Mark Twain.
In my mind it was 6ft, but probably closer to 4 1/2ft.
I vowed never to go in waters I cannot see after that.
I want you to fish Mississippi River an catch one of our 8-9 ft bullsharks
What episode
Exactly which Penn reel is that?
All you have to do is pressure cook a gar and it takes good
hi support from malaysia
I was worried when fish is that big and Jeremy wraps his arms around it. The Barb can hurt him.
Deez nuts but Lowkey my favorite show ever
Hi

That fish died the moment it caught back up with its groopies until they smelt the blood.
👍🇧🇷
That's what people don't understand, shark attacks are generally "exploratory" bites.
Forget it all, my favourite is the noodling way down south. Thank you for including it.
