I think the ghetto people in the us use the term "my man's" as well which is weird but let's be honest with ourselves it's not secret that UK ghetto culture is just a ripped off version of the us ghetto culture.look at UK grime and those bandanas they wear just like the yankys plus it's obvious the UK doesn't have heaps of shootings like the us yet UK ghetto people want you and me to think they live in an environment as murderous as the USA's but it's obvious that isn't true it's the same down here in my native 🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺 the poor people here try to act like the ghetto yankys but because of our gun laws their just embarrassing then selfs. My grandad twice
he didnt get a direct hit. i work with ligthning protection. And trust me DIRECT hit from a tropical ligthning bolt will either kill you or leave u critical condition. also rubber soles dont save you lol.. that ligtning bolt just traveled through 500 meters of thin air ( which is a shitty conductor) so u tell me that 2 cm of rubber saves you.. even if that was the case the ligtning would just arc out from his ankles and blow off his feet.
Lightning struck me on the tip of my d*ck once, true story. You know how they always say that it strikes the highest point...

I love how the bear walks up cautiously but carefully and just yoinks the salmon of the line and runs away. He seems more mischievous than anything else.
He was a youngling and was struggling to get an actual catch. He somehow knew that approaching the humans and stealing a catch would be easier.

0:52 Can we just take a moment to appreciate how caring Jeremy is for his crewmates? After his sound guy gets hit with lighting Jeremy stays by his side the whole time just to make sure he's alright and even puts off from fishing just to stay by him. Just an amazing human being.

The stonefish presented at the end is a Synanceia verrucosa, or "Reef stonefish".
It is the most venomous fish in the world, and without fast treatment, walking on one of them means you can lose you foot, or die. And even after being treated, you still can have permanent nerve damages.
I did not know it could literally pierce your shoe though...

Don’t step on any rock like thing and shuffle feet in sand to avoid stingray

Last one rock fish is very common in Greece and called drakena here (female dragon).
They say it's just the worst pain you can ever feel in your whole life.
So if you ever visit, just ask the locals if they have spotted any drakenes around.
We get these here in Australia too called stone fish they have a bad reputation haha

I don't think there exists a youtube channel from a TV-Show that's mostly aired on science/discovery channel with as many subs, that's also no longer making new seasons. Look at how much traction you guys have! We love you and miss River Monsters! You should get in touch with streaming platforms or even go full youtube for your TV-Show. It ought to be very viable with some sponsors in the boat/travel/fishing gear branch? I don't see you guys having any trouble finding sponsors that can offer opportunities for your entire team to travel out! That is, if you are still at all interested in producing more episodes.
