That will only go so far. Sure, they will LOVE the engagement because that helps the algorithm. But they'd rather have people massively sign up for Patreon to carry on with a show. The only reason why they kept Demon Slayer going was the engagement they got (comments + views) and the massive amount of people willing to get Patreon for it.
As much as I don’t mind this and the anime is beautiful this isn’t something I care to watch a reaction for. I wish it would have been a different anime but I’m not the one that paid for it. I’m hoping sometime in the future I can pay for something like Vinland saga or a comedy like prison school

This anime was great, it is a real rollercoaster of emotions. Not something I would have normally watched but ended up watching the whole season in a few days. Starts slow, picks up and the character development is some of the best that exists imo. Just a great show.
honestly the dub isnt bad but the voices in the sub are exceptional like her total lack of emotion and understanding come across really well there imo
That's the first thing I noticed watching this (I only watched the sub version), Violet's dub voice is a lot more emotional in some situations.

You should definitely continue it. It's definitely a slow burn, but it's not just a love story between her and Gilbert. It's about how she gradually adjusts to life after war by writing heartfelt letters for other people. And just about every episode will wreck you emotionally, in some capacity.
ok so here's my pitch this show better than almost any is so good at conveying and showing how we find emotion it's not some super fun crazy show it's a show with great characters and stories that build great emotional climaxes every episode especially after the first three episodes fully establish our world as well as the goal of the plot and begin Violet's emotional journey most episode's a re their own contained stories in this world but they all help to grow Violet's understanding of emotions and feelings helping her grow into a real person and discover the meaning of those words she wants to understand so honestly please keep watching
It's a very realistic anime. One of them said the pacing is slow and don't like it but in my many years of watching anime sometimes.....a slow pace is good I get that it's boring at first but if you really feel the character if they can emotionally connect with the characters Rather than just watching and analyzing it's really good. A slow paced story progression can answer many questions and can tell the story more in depth rather than a fast pacing. Violet evergarden is really really good actually it's not just good it's above good so sadly they didn't continue watching it

If you have never cried watching an anime, this is the perfect one. Kyo-Ani (Kyoto animation) gem it is, Netflix just got the distribution rights. This is one of the best anime- character development and visually stunning

This fictional world is similar to Fullmetal Alchemist, her prosthetics also remains to the automail Edward Elric use. This show is great, not everything must be superheroes, action, or comedy, this is about human development, I hope you react to this show.

"Auto-Memories Doll" is kind of a confusing term for it. They're essentially just scribes/ghost writers/stenographers. Basically, you need a pretty lady to use a typewriter for you, you hire one of them.
Y’all just get ready for the feels. It is strong and it (Winter) is coming. Rewatching this episode already brought back some feels.

@Astrial Xema Nope, it's never a guarantee. Even if they enjoy the show a lot (e.g. Re:Zero) they won't continue it unless it gets ridiculous views or demand. They only react to it because it's what the patron wants, and the patron donates knowing that they'll only be watching a single episode.
I think it's an extremely pointless system because it almost never goes anywhere and leads to more disappointment than excitement because they won't continue the show, if anything. The people who request stuff for them to watch should stick to single episode media like movies and etc.

This anime is probably the most visually appealing anime I've seen to date. The movie Your Name is a close second. Nonetheless, the dub isn't bad but if you want to react to the dub but watch the sub on your own time I'm fine with that.

Everytime I think about this show or hear the music it gives me such a specific intense emotion and I feel like that’s the mark of a show that really left a mark on you. It’s something special and I hope the three of you that said you would want to continue it, do.
My pitch: Violet Evergarden is a story about trauma, war, and love in all forms. Violet, a child soldier, has to learn how to integrate into a society that doesn't have constant fear or bloodshed. It starts off slow, in order to introduce you to the characters and general theme. It's episodic in nature, meaning there's a new substory every episode, similar to typical shonen anime (ex. Naruto), so if you don't like one story, another one might catch your interest.
I tried explaining without spoiling as much as possible! I hope y'all continue VE! It's one of my favourites :)

Please continue the series! This anime, in particular, is an absolute masterpiece. The story is made to be slow-paced, so you could understand everything inch and second of it without missing anything. The character development is another great thing about this anime, each and every character even the side characters have their own past story which could sometimes be emotional or entertaining. The animation, on the other hand, is just fantastic, it's completely out of this world! You have no clue have many times I've rewatched it and still each and every time I did, I cried like a baby honestly...

Dude, you need to continue watching this fantastic and amazing show. This is actually one of the very sad, emotional and drama animes that made me cry *the most* as in a lot.
Also, I heard that the show "Violet Evergarden" is about to have a movie.
Not sure when it is releasing, but I heard that it might and will be *very sad.*
Also, if you guys wanna know, Violet Evergarden's VA in the Japanese version is Yui Ishikawa, the *SAME VA* who also voiced Mikasa Ackermann from Attack on Titan.
This is a high quality show, it's definitely worth giving it a watch, and it's short too.

Oh, i actually recently binged this show. The main character's arc felt kind off repetitive for a few episodes at the start, but overall i really enjoyed it.

I was skeptical when this show first came out, so it took me a while to get around to watching this. I finally decided to watch the first episode at 1030 at night. As the first episode ended I just accepted that I wasn't sleeping that night and binged the whole thing in 1 shot. Didn't get to sleep until about 4 AM. I have never cried so consistently for any show in any genre of any medium. Every episode hurt on a deep emotional level, and somehow made me desperate for more at the same time.
I got to ask is this their first experience with Kyoto Animation?

This anime is one of the few to get me to tear up! The only anime (technically it's a movie) is maquia when the promised flower blooms but that's besides the point. This show is definitely a bit of a slow burn, but that's kind of the point. It's only twelve episodes, so you'd be done with it pretty quick, too. In my opinion it's one of the best representations of PTSD and loss (especially in a post-war setting) that I have ever seen. The episodic format really lends itself to fleshing out the world and the characters bit by bit, and if nothing else stay on until episode 10, because hoooly shit, it is easily one of the best episodes of anime I have seen, period. This is seriously some oscar-level storytelling, and when the action is kicked up, it is amazing. Plus the animation is consistently fucking gorgeous the entire way through.
Just a solid series all around.
I also (as someone who is not averse to dubs) recommend the subbed version.
I'm going to be honest. I actually love the dub for this anime. The voice actors really put their heart and soul into this, especially Violet's. I would love for you guys to watch more, the first three episodes really pull you in for the feels train. This is probably my favorite anime of all time, I hope y'all watch all of "Violet Evergarden"

Yeah that always frustrated me, it was created by Kyoto Animation and was originally a light novel, Netflix only have distribution rights, they had nothing to do with it's production, but they call it a Netflix original
Violet Evergarden is a show full of different stories. Violet meets people who have their own different story, and she will try to understand the world and people around her. Thus, she will start to see and feel what being human means. This by being an Auto Memory Doll.
Deep into emotions (prepare the tissues), of deep thoughts and questions... You can see that in ep 1. The matter about the body burning and Violet saying she isn't... Violet asking about the meaning of love (many of us would think "That's easy. That's when you truly appreciate someone..."). Three words: " I love you", that might seem to be easy and simple to understand, but not.
