@@ErikaEmodyyou know that's telling for all of us. I worked at Disneyland for five years in the 80s. I think this new refresh is just simply fantastic. The new show brings a new type of energy that the old one didn’t have. And to be fair the original died when the show was refurbished in 2012 I believe. A lot of what made the show funny was cut and the order and pacing was changed.
@@josueelombre931 yeah, and even then the original was just simply bears singing covers of popular western songs at the time so then singing western covers of Disney songs now with Iger wanting everything to be IP based is pretty much on paper for the show so it wasn’t really the biggest loss in “new Frontierland”
This is just sad. I loved the old show. Now it's just boring. I literally started to fall asleep. Disney no longer has any original ideas. They could have made the songs work but instead they just took old Disney songs and repurposed them. None of them even sound good.
@@SpeedyCrabbit1533I’m pretty sure that @wdwdad just loves to complain. He was saying in another comment that kids don’t know these songs because they’re all from 30+ years ago, which is patently false, as half the songs are newer (Frozen, Coco & Zootopia) and half are older Aladdin, Jungle Book and Toy Story. Complaining that a show has a mix of current and classic Disney songs, especially the ones featured in this show, seems an odd complaint. Of course, he did say that he fell asleep, so maybe he just missed a lot.
That’s an interesting statement, since everything in this attraction has been upgraded. The animatronics, the sound, lighting and the songs are all brand new and much more relevant to today’s audiences than the original.
@@WindowtotheMagic it’s about the quality of the attraction as an atttavtion Compared to what we had before, it feels cheap and lame. They ruined an original ride for ip and its like a cheap sing along. It’s dull, dry and lacks any original charm.

We agree. The things they say and the songs they sing really make this a great new version.

Imagine if this show changed song sets at random? I feel like it would plus the immersion a bit.

theres probably reasons why they don't but that would be so great....in a perfect world.....

that is a ritual for hubby and me. We look at each other and sing along. We look forward to it. Guess we'll just have to sing it ourselves.

I still prefer the original Country Bear Jamboree. Luckily, we'll be able to enjoy it in perpetuity on RUclips.
