I love this classic show. Hope it never goes away. It was being refurbished when I was there over the weekend. I kept annoying my friend singing "blood on the saddle" in her ear all day... Love Big Al!
I haven't seen this since 1988. It brought back so many memories. Even though we would go to Disneyland in the '90s and early 2000s we thought we were too cool for it. Now I wish I had watched it more before it closed. 😢😢😢
I thought the same thing in the 80s! And I still remember the lyrics to “blood on the saddle” and just realized that google could help me out. I wasn’t making it up like I suspected I may be after all these years.
fun fact in the trippy rainbow in whinnie the pooh room the original talking heads are still up on the wall you just have to turn around at the right time
I remember seeing this show at Disneyland back in the mid 70s. I went there with my mom and a dear friend of the family who moved to California with his family several years before. (Jim Rowe). We would drive to visit them about every other year or so and they would take us to the sites like Balboa Park, San Diego Zoo, Universal Studios, Disneyland and more. Mom and Jim are gone now and this video brought back some seriously fond memories. I still have the pics and post cards with pictured of the Country Bear Jamboree, but they don't possess the memories this video brought back to me. Hearing the actual audio warmed my heart a great deal. Thank you!!!!

There was this one time at Disney land where her cup spilled all over her fur cause one of the employees broke the top covering in and they just cleaned it up only glass and told no one about it very sad
This is the first time watching this classic jamboree and this one is so much better than the one that Disney has now Disney should have kept this show
I saw this very show in 1972 when I was in the service. Loved it then and love it now. The entire Disneyland experience was a highlight I'll always cherish, especially "The Country Bear Jamboree" and "The Haunted Mansion".
The Country Bear Jamboree is one of the very last things that brought Walt Disney some happiness before he died. When Walt Disney visited the studio offices for the final time, he stopped by to see Marc Davis, who showed Walt the various sketches and concept art he was working on of all the different characters that would be in the prospective 'Country Bear Jamboree' show. Walt chuckled at all the whimsical characters and their humorous personalities that Marc Davis had imagined and drawn. Poor Walt never got to see the finished product. I know they got rid of this attraction at DL, however, I hope they don't ever touch the one still remaining at WDW. This attraction along with the Enchanted Tiki Room one are some of the few last vestiges left with Walt's personal touch and style. In all the years since, the Disney parks have never had another attraction like this that featured music in this way.
I just did the KTTK tour and I heard about this Marc knew that that would be their last encounter because Walt said Goodbye Marc, instead of other phrases he would use
What a stupid idea that Michael Eisner had of removing this great ride, one of my favorites of all-time at Disneyland, back in 2001. Didn't know it had been removed until several years later, when I heard about it. Thank God, he ain't running Disney any more!
Actually Mr. Eisner was the best Chief Executive Officer by far. He was determined to keep the older rides/shows. Things changed drastically after he left. The current executive is determined to ruin everything. You can't mix a former employee into a CEO. They take their resentment and revenge out, leaving disgruntled Disney customers. Now Disneyland is so convoluted and $$$ it will never go back to the good old days. Disneyland's beloved rides will be gone forever. Mr. Disney would be beyond angry.
Had to watch this one more time before they take the show down for "refurbishment." I'm afraid a lot of the magic may get lost in the new show, crossing my fingers.
Interesting how at 7:20, Terrence's eyebrows are covered by his hat in one shot, but not in the other (so you can see him wiggle his eyebrows). When were these shots filmed?
I think it's funny because everyone here in Southern California says the same thing about WDW. We are jealous of you guys. The Magic Kingdom still has the Swiss Family Robinson Tree House. They changed our's to Tarzan's Treehouse. So lame. Not to mention Epcot, Disney Studios and Anmimal KIngdom. Although DCA has gotten really cool lately here.
Soon to be replaced when Disney acquires the rights to the Chucky franchise. It'll be called "Slash Mountain." and be based on the Sam Pekinpah skit by Monty Python.
I was at this attraction 2 days ago and liberal lips was missing his strap over his shoulder I had never seen the show before so I was very confused as to why his pants were floating... seems like an easy fix tho so I don’t know why Disney hasn’t done it
I'd like to take a look at this attraction but I would have to go to Florida to see it since I live in California and that the attraction has been taken over by Winnie the Pooh.
I weep for the children who will never know the simple joy of this

For one reason or another I absolutely adore this attraction. Classic Disney
Classic. Probably been 30 years since I saw that. Nicely filmed!
loved this show
I miss this so much. I can't even remember the last time I saw them before Disneyland took it down. :(

I am sorry for your dad
They still have it at Disney but they shorten it and it only lasts a few seconds
I love Trixie!
As much as I love Musical Jamboree, nothing beats the unedited original.
I love it like that 🐻

I love the off time picking and strumming Wendell does
The original is still the best
Disney, please do not close this gem!!!!
Terence's eyebrows actually dance but in the new one, he wears a vest and a hat, and he just shakes around with lights flashing.

Heart We Did All That We Could was done by Jean Shephard
Why was that bear in 11:03 singing about blood?
Because he's going to eat the children in the audience after the show.
Nooooo!!!! That's not the reason! They are trying to make it both dark and funny at the same time!
Why do the trio sing the words "Whoever TURNS ME ON turns me down."? Anyone else find that weird?
Ethan Tavitas yes. Its about a cowboy being shot i think
The Random guy3324 👁👄👁
What did they replace this with?
I'm pretty sure with the Winnie the pooh ride
