  • Pull up a log and set a spell with the Original Soundtrack LP for "Country Bear Jamboree," the audio-animatronic revue that debuted at Walt Disney World on opening day, October 1, 1971. Subsequent versions were introduced at Disneyland in Anaheim on March 4, 1972 and at Tokyo Disneyland on April 15, 1983. Of these, the Tokyo version is the only one still operating with the original content. Anaheim's CBJ transitioned into "The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh" decades ago, and the Florida attraction was closed in January 2024 to make way for a new production entitled "Country Bear Musical Jamboree."
Many familiar voices are heard in this recording, including the grrrreat Thurl Ravenscroft as Buff, the prolific and versatile Dal McKennon as Zeke, the one and only Tex Ritter as Big Al, and members of Country Music's famed Stoneman Family. Peter Renaday voices our genial host Henry as well as wall-hanger Max the stag. At the end of the video, we'll briefly thumb through the accompanying illustrated booklet.
