Being that this is a FOOD video, it would be natural instinct to couteosly offer food to the woman. I think the guy's repeat food offer makes sense for it seems unthinkable to do a food video w/o eating food
1.) You gotta let the cookies cool for at least 8 minutes, even from the oven they are mushy at first, thats printed in the cookie cooking directions 2.) The design of that oven could be even better by making it smaller if everything folded and collapsed inward when not in use. I would bring one of those and set it right next to me at the beach next to my towel and still bypass local beach grill rules with hot food not having to be bought from vendors, awesome.
DeanRendar84 It does collapse inward. This is the sport model because it’s meant to be easy to carry around. You can easily strap it to a backpack and hike or do practically anything with it. I’ve had mine for around 3 years now and I’ve used it at the beach and on the boat with ease. It’s pretty light and easy to carry, but if you want something even more portable they have a smaller one now too.

The sport seems to have double the space. The grill seems bigger but the sport and the go can heat water for coffee or tea. I am looking at them for power outages. Where I live we have had a few long power outages and I can use a microwave for a few minutes with a generator but these would actually cook things.
I made a DIY one and works fantastically, I'll probably buy a GoSun unit for smaller meals. This concept is the most eco-friendly device I've ever seen.

We bought this and it is amazing. Would now like a bigger one. It made roasted veggies amazing like grill but better. Just sprinkled ours with montreal steak spice and a tiny thin drizzle of bbq sauce. My husband and son ate theirs two hours before I got home and thiers was perfect and mine were perfect. Yummo

I totally want one. I think it’s perfect for two people. Just think of it as a shish kebab cooker that can bake. This would totally work in Quartzsite AZ and boondocking.

thank you for clarifying the kind of sun you had, i've tested mine today, at about 330pm and stayed outside for about 2 hours, reached 130 degrees in 30 minutes, did not cook the egg after another 30 min lol. i'm at about 2k feet above sea level, and i think you're probably close to sea level as well. i think performance for these would increase the higher in elevation you are as well as how you positioned it. winter sun is not very efficient, especially at a high latititude, i find that i have to really wake up with the sun if i want food and to use this oven, which is annoying but it's also better than spending 40dollars a month on butane.
It’s a scam there’s no possible way to get the sear marks they had on the chicken and if you can tell they replaced the tinfoil when they made the cookies I bet they were done in a real oven
Regarding it is a "small cooker..." It is the GoSun "sport" model; I believe their smaller model. They do have larger mod's... I'm interested in one of these. Just Give me any model and a fishing rod, a converted van and I'm good to go!!!
Just watch the channel BlueVanDan here on RUclips. He does it all the time, and bakes a lot of different things in it. NO question about if it works, it works well. If you have the sun to use it. Some people really don't have the right sunshine to make any sunover work as it should. jmo

Hey, good vid! I took a pizza box, covered it in aluminum foil, taped it down, covered the opening/top with cling wrap so no air could escape, and left it in the sun for an hour. I was cooking s’mores and the chocolate melted fast, but the marshmallow didn’t melt. Over-all great product, cool, and if you don’t want to buy one, you can just make it in like 20 mins!

My concern isn't that it will get it to temp. It's how long it takes to get there and how long food spends in the critical zone.

It bakes cookies. It just takes time for them to harden. I have one similar and made the mistake of 60 minutes only once.

Nice experiment but half of what makes this work is the double vacuum seal and the actual design of the tube.
