That's so awesome! I really love mine as well. It's been so much fun to use and out of all the ovens and cookers I have, this is the best design overall. Pretty hard to beat free energy cooking :-)
      Thanks for watching!

@@AlanHowellphotovideo Beside the Suntaste i have also an parabolic cooker with 1.4m in diameter. I use both as much as i can. For sure this type of cooking attracts neigbours and random people wondering what the hell i‘m doing in the garden 😎

@@wowbagger1975 Yes! Every time I set it up in the campground here too. I have a couple of parabolic dishes as well. I call them my solar death ray lol.

@@AlanHowellphotovideo they’re death rays for sure! at the moment my chicken soup for dinner is coming to a rolling boil on my parabolic cooker. And one of the best aspects of cooking outdoors: all the neigbours are getting hungry :)

Same here, had mine for a whole year now, got it after checking out Alan Howell's first video. I use my compact on the balcony, mainly for rice in one pot, vegetables such as zucchini or leek with a little water and oil in another, hard-boiled eggs or jacket potatoes. Mine doesn't get hot enough for bread, as I'd initially hoped. But it is extremely convenient and easy in maintenance. I use it almost daily whenever it is sunny. The lidded pot also comes in handy to heat up water for washing the dishes.

I made a similar one. Styrofoam container, bubble wrap on the inside, then cardboard for the innermost side covered with tinfoil. Single mirror on top (tinfoil), glass cover, similar to this. Today I reached 266F. Very satisfied.

This is where I got mine but I'm not sure what they are priced at now. SunOk website - www.sunok.eu/home/products/sun...
I love mine though. It's a lot of fun and works great.

Is this cooker available in the US? I only see the EU address. Thank you for your review on this. I really would like to support this type of cooking.

Yes, I'm based in the US and they shipped mine directly to me.
Solar cooking can make a huge difference in reducing our carbon footprint...and it's just fun! :-)

I think they are made in Spain. Not sure how much they are now. Here is the SunOk website where they have a contact email - www.sunok.eu/home/products/sun...
The oven model in the video is the SunTaste 'large' version.

this is way better if you live around a desert area that has a lot of sun and it probably cooks better
