RIP Jim Tweto one helluva pilot and family man.
My son Erik Rose flew for Era Alaska, and appeard in Season 1 Episode 3 of FWA as co-pilot to Doug Doherty. He sucummed to cancer on 1-11-11, just prior to the airing of his episode. He loved the Tweto family and all his fellow pilots. It warms my heart that Erik and Jim are now together once again❤
Watching this should be required before anyone starts learning to fly.
Rip Jim Tweeto. 😢😢😢
Thank you! Love this show so much!
Aslong as YT allows me to have it uploaded.
I had to delete already some episodes.
“Are they better than your tyres?”
“NO WAY! NOTHING IS BETTER THAN BUSH WHEELS!”
Jim, you have spoken the whole words.
Thanks for uploading. When this aired I wanted to be a pilot. Now I am.
Love to watch this….flew out of Bethel for almost 9yrs…and I have flown that C-180 that he has!! Leased it from the owner back in early 90’s to haul sand for the construction company building permanent schools in the delta!!!
Ariel: you are for sure dumb-ass exciting, keep at it girl you are amazing?
Finally, my Tweto Alaska fix! Thank you
I remember watching this show back around 2011 to 2012 I think it was. I loved it and always wondered why it was cancelled after only a few seasons. So great to be able to watch them all again. Thanks so much for posting these videos. Subscribed
This is the perfect show for the internet. The TV show was limited by the network coverage and you could only watch it when it was being broadcast by the TV company. Now, it can reach many more people and hopefully will take off again (sorry for the pun lol).
I really enjoyed watching this on TV. Please can u bring show em all on the discovery channel?? My entire family really love Air Alaska!!!.....
Man, I used to love this show way back when.
Living life as it's meant to be..~~
Awesome 😎
I love this real show I love it thank you for sharing it with us
I keep them videos up until RUclips lets me. Afraid of getting banned. 😅
Your kidding me! Safely is you number one priority... omg sign me up!!!!
Ponts is definitely well loved
Ariel is in love.
thankyou for uploading these new vids!!! ''''!''''
Once again thank you very much for uploading the new episode. Good luck to Sarah and Ponts, hope they get together at Bethel again.
This show is from like 8 years ago.
@@alexsheppard8331 Hi Alex 8 years ago I was working and didn't have the time to watch any series on RUclips. Since I have retired I now have the time.
Excellent TV Show about Women and men Pilots very friendly personal beautiful surrounding
Nice work, Sarah! Great video, great family!
What a pretty pilot
One of the things I like about seeing these old stories on, RUclips is you can comment and someone hears you.
Fantastic video, as always!
How is COVID-19 affecting Alaskan Airlineslike this?🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🚁🚁🚁🚁🚁
As a mountaineer the ropework in this video is terrifying
It all looks a bit fake, like nearly everything from Hollywood or reality TV. But, it doesn't look as fake as most TV news. 😉
@@roadie3124 I was just concerned for Ariel I was not criticising the show.
Cheers for the upload :)
Aaah! Caravans!! Great memories! I learned to fly C208 out of Bethel as well!!!
That probably wasn’t her first flight since she would have had to do IOE before any solo trips…so it’s her first solo flight most likely…we’ll done tho!!! Been to Hooooo per Bay many times…..206, 207, 185, 180, 208 and!!! DHC 6-300(Markair Express)
I think Ponts had feelings for Ariel. I think they both had feelings for each other.
Yes, sibling or great friend kind of feelings, there's those and they had that connection I think.
Some people are born naturals, whether it be juggling, driving an 18-wheeler, cooking, flying a plane, or whatever.
Most have to study, learn, and work at it to become proficient.
Others struggle their whole lives ...
So True mate.
love this show- the scenery and bush planes- great combination-missed most of the episodes on the TV series
Oooo

I miss your interviews with Craig Ferguson always fun Merry Christmas to you all
Keep the good work
These stall-during-take off-pilot-killed stories are true. Have you ever seen a glider during a winch launch? It looks like a fighter going up in a 45 degree angle. You definitely do NOT want a stall, when you are rotating to that extreme climbing situation. It's exactly the same situation of that 180 crash in the video. Only worse, cause it ends nose down.
The solution is concentration during take off. Watch your airspeed regularly and act immediately when it is too low. Some turbulence or wind gradient can get you down, stalling or spinning. Better fly a bit too fast, than too slow. So adjust your minimum airspeed to the weather. And do your rotation carefully, that way you have time to see your IAS stays okay.
Yes, been a glider pilot, and all planes behave basically the same. Take take off and landing serious. You might even grow old safely.
Thank you so much for the instruction. We should never stop learning, right?!
@@Pseudopilot Too much honour, you do the actual flying, I am only a stubborn video watcher. Please fly safely, folks.
10:52 Classic mistake in a 150. Try to pick up the dropping wing with the column. :) They spin like a top when you do that! I did it on my first spin training flights! Best lessons on my flying time. Done right you can keep them well into a deep stall just on rudder, but play aggressively with the column and round and round you go! :)
i love watch out seagulls we are coming for your babies :P
This is so cool
Miss Ariel is so funny what a woman likes adventure and has fun what more could you ask🧗♀️
❣❣👌👌
She is not ready. She needs much more practice.
Thank you for both the Seasons. It was great watching it. If Season 3 is available, please do upload them too.
Much appreciated and you are right, Sharing is Caring....we want to watch it :)
They play piston engine sound for turboprop aircraft.😂
I am wondering the same....akward
I'm so into it so please upload season 3 if it's available Thanks !
Would love to add the final Season, but right now Iam to busy to getting anything done. Iam trule sorry... Ill continue soon.
19:00 That's an undone cowl latch? And she took off like that?
32:50 She has a cute accent, more of Midwest like Sarah Palin, not AK Native. I wonder how she learned this... fun times.!
Hello Aerial. So glad to see your series again. It's been along time since talking with you at NBAA Orlando. Are you putting out new content? I would love to watch, please put me on your list.
Captain Scott Denham
32:00 That is completely the wrong sound for that turbine engine. Why do editors have to change that?!
I really would like to know.
OK. With my flying experiences, money sometimes clouds a pilot's "better judgment" in a dangerous situation. I've been there, done that too many times to advise........."did you plan for go-around, abort, and alternate? In your environment.......return to base? But the pressure to get 'er done outweighs the risk? What exactly is at stake? Spin entry and recovery may help if altitude is available. Rudder, rudder, rudder.........last to go in a low airspeed situation.
Anyone outside of the US have series three? I’m addicted but series 3 isn’t on RUclips!
I've never heard of seagulls called rats Anywhere in the lower 48
Do not try at home!!! Is zat possible miss bushgirl
I am not sure the eggs were at all worth going doing down the cliff, safety first!!
All about the thrill I guess ;-)
I can't believe they let her over that cliff!! Wtf!!!!??????
I know these types of shows need to create drama. Making Arial look silly and immature. Maybe she is maybe she isn't. I would not let her clime a step latter let alone clime into a cockpit. blessings dean
Rudder or aleron, you givin her mixed messages
You'd think after all these shows, the narrator could start pronouncing Unalakleet properly! It's not oo-na-kleet..., Alaska - ( YOO-nə-lə-kleet; Inupiaq: Uŋalaqłiq IPA: [uŋɐlɑχɬeq]) is a city in Nome Census Area, Alaska, United States, in the western part of the state.
well, I've never heard anyone from the village say "bag" right and that's an easier word....
Sarah Fraher, u r beautiful!
ARIEL SWEET JUST SAY I LOVE YOU SAY IT
How old is she? Maybe 16 tops. And yes the female pilot was flying with the port cowl unlatched. Nobody noticed? Preflight? Camera man?
So the little girl tweedle is not even the daughter of those people so who can believe anything of this whole program she's an actress so imagine everybody else is actors too
I reckon Ariel needs to maybe spend more time in the water than in the air...and give more meaning to her name. Mermaids aren't meant to fly. I reckon she should learn to drive a car first and after 10 years on the road think about getting her PPL.
Boyfriend “no” lol
Those egg hunters should be working with a proper climbing harness...That's a spinal cord injury waiting to happen.....Not to mention the people up top belaying without a proper anchor.
Eric Trumpler great explanation!! Thank you! 👏
I love this show, but the producers make some of the things more dramatic than it needs to be
Excellent TV series that was cancelled way to early. The Green paint scheme seen on Sarah's Cessna Caravan in this series was originally a Flying Service called Hagelands which eventually combined with Frontier Flying Service from Fairbanks, Cape Smythe from Barrow and Era Aviation out of Anchorage. Then with outside investment, they all combined into one State wide Flying Service called RAVN. Unfortunately the COVID pandemic has put RAVN out of business, leaving Bush Alaska without a very necessary service
2017- 27208 👍💃
If you take all the eggs, eventually no more fish
this shows been cancelled for 10 years now ?
Affirmative Sir
so why retweet it
robert clark sharing is caring. You dont have to watch it.
@@robertclark4509 I want to see it. Missed it when it first came out. I like it. So I'm watching it now. Would love to see season three. Thanks. Rick.
@@robertclark4509 Because people want to watch it. And, in case you didn't notice, this is RUclips, not twatter.
Ironical how this episode shows a stalled C180 resulting in dead people. Even a highly experienced driver can become a statistic, Jim was not isolated from being foolish!
Show the landing start to finish, instead of going back to shots of her. Dramatic affect is bs.
Dude, I know what you mean but it's a light entertainment show, not an instructional video.
Oh dear Ariel, what can I say? She's still a kid with a long way to go. Not ready for any kind of responsibility. She's obviously used to everyone else doing everything for her, not only with the plane but later in the show on the bicycle. She doesn't even understand the physics of momentum to know how to keep the bicycle going.
I loved this show when it was on. Kick myself I wanted to buy a hat when it was on
Student pilots who don't seem all that knowledgeable have lousy cfi's. Just because somebody knows how to fly doesn't mean they can teach effectively. Some people can't teach, some can. That's just how it works. Flying a plane ain't nuclear science.

Shitty instructor. You NEVER add aileron in a stall recovery! It stalls the dropping wing even worse, and he's laughing about it. I'd whack my students hands off the yoke. I realize this video was years ago, but if one of them doesn't become room temperature from flying, I'd be surprised.
ok boomer
If you are catching them before they spawn you are killing the industry. How do they breed. That is not sustainable fishing.
