I think it would then make the said public course just like all the others with the demand being so high for people wanting to then play it, it'll make the green fee bump up maybe £100-200 just like birkdale etc
@@TtvPhenrik1 I agreed, but don't think TW would play extra rounds, especially when he's been pretty fragile. And furthermore, I see it more likely that the mentioned "delivery" or Interruption would more likely come from an Augusta package rather than a TW teamup.

Hi Rick & Guy further to you saying you’re looking at playing some affordable courses. It could be cool if you did a few episodes of courses in and around the Wirral area (where Wallasey is). I imagine this year the golf courses in that area will be getting more visitors due to the open happening in royal Liverpool. Could be a good way to bring in our home major
Rick saying he needs to change everything in the bag tells me he should do a version of the Build my Bag series like Peter Finch. So he can find exactly what he likes and what works best for him alongside fittings and all that to see what he gets fit into shaft, club, etc
In regards to the Umbrella-gate: You really shouldn't do this. My friend got his pushed down a bit too far, and it got stuck... for 2 seasons. His dad and mom had him go for an errand and said they'd fix it for him. When he returned, his dad pulled him aside and said, "hey babe, we almost just got divorced..." and the umbrella was still in there. He eventually just bought a new bag. Don't do this.. You'll get divorced.

To the guy with the driver issue . Either cut the handle down a few inches or choke down two inches . Try holding it so the shaft is the same as your hybrid to start and slowly extend it as you get better .

I think rick releasing break 75 where the pga is playing that week is brilliant. The pga should pair with rick and continue this. It benefits everyone.
I love the idea of two amateur groups to start off or trail the leaders for the first round at every PGA tournament and show how different levels of amateurs handle a tournament ready PGA golf course from the back tees. One foursome of scratch golfers and another foursome of 9 handicappers just in case someone has an off day. What would make it even better is if each group had a mic'd up "pro" with them to give them tips and advice along the way. For example the scratch group with Bernhard Langer. Then during the final round they could show where shots landed in comparison to the leaders and things like that. Very clever idea.
I put a hybrid in my bag last season. Is now my "go to" club for second shots!! Haven't tried to use it like my 8iron, bump & run, but am anxious to try this season!! Thanks Matt! Great assortment of videos sir!!

As far as the PGA Tour's new limited field events, I think they are probably good, but having too many. Should have had the 4 majors and 4 additional events at the most.
Rahm collapsed in the wind. Finished over par after the 7 under 65. Winner was 9 under. Still a great score on a real tough course. That just shows how good those guys are.
Have you been invited to play at Augusta National, or maybe even a few holes with Tiger? Either one would be great to see, but if your going to playing a full round with Tiger at Augusta National that would be amazing. I guess it might also be the chance to play with Rory, as they’re doing all they can to promote the PGA Tour at the moment. Wilson- the new staff bag is siiiick. And I don’t know how many people are like me but I like building all one-brand bags. I have a wilson bag, a titleist bag, and want to build a sweet mcgregor bag (need the classic green and white bag though, super hard to find) which would have to be all classics. But my main bag is a hodgepodge of the best in each category- Taylormade woods, mizuno irons, vokey wedges, and a putter tbd between a scotty and a mizuno omoi.
Would be awesome if you could do an overview video of all the different tours and the most important tournaments in these tours. I can't follow anymore lol!
We had something similar to Guy’s proposal when Matt Fitzpatrick played in West Hill’s pro am and won it. He rented a £5 pull trolley from the shop. Class.
I played Victoria GC in Vilamoura in Portugal 2 weeks before the Portogees Masters. We did not even play from the tournement tees, "only "from the whites. It was so difficult and we were wondering what those European tour players might do there and we thought, because it was so tough, maybe 2 or 3 under to win. The winner came up with 23 under the cut was around minus 4. That showed me how good these players are and that was not Bay Hill! BTW should we do a guess what happend in the breack? I have 3 suggestions. First, a round with Tiger, second a Round at Augusta, Third a round with Tiger at Augusta.
Having run the London Marathon a couple of times, you will find, the crowd spurring you on, can have it's own problem. It might encourage you to run faster than you can and you will pay the price, later on in the race. Good luck for the race. Great content

Being from Northern Ireland, both Padraig Harrington & Darren Clarke were my favourite golfers growing up watching golf in the 00s. Wilson therefore because of Padraig was always a brand I have loved. So much so when I recently started playing golf having not done so since I was a kid I felt comfortable getting some wilson irons and balls and haven't looked back. I currently have a wilson bag and have a few hats etc, the only thing I have which isn't Wilson is putter and driver, the second which I never use anyway as I usually only play local par 3 courses. I definitely think we can form an emotional attachment to a brand, maybe even for nostalgia reasons and stick by them provided they do the job. I definitely do see a snobbery from the outside looking in almost being more of a spectator of pro golf rather than actively playing toward the trendy brands. That is one thing some brands need to try improve upon with a younger and more materialistic demographic involved in golf.
I can’t imagine the pressure of playing in front of those crowds. It doesn’t matter how good I am playing just playing through a group on a local course I’m probably going to choke.

Everybody said the local Pro at my old course in England could play on tour, one day I was chatting with him and mentioned this, at the time I was a 16hc, he said he would need to improve as much as I would need to improve to get to scratch if he wanted to make it on tour!
I work in a golf store that sells new and used equipment much like your Golfbidders and what I see in buying new drivers is price isn't a big deal for guys buying new and like you we see the same if they are a Titleist guy or a Ping guy they rarely try a different brand , there is some buzz about the new Wilson carbon driver because of all the u tube vids ,the market where Wilson will take sales away are the brands that are a little cheaper that don't have a lot of market share aways and the Wilson will hurt their sales , the Cleveland , Tour Edge , Srixon and Mizuno which are all priced lower and haven't performed as well as the top brands , but I know we will sell 100 used/demo Taylormade stealth's from 2022 before we sell one of the Wilsons or any of the 4 others i mentioned, we are selling those cheaper than any of these 5 2023 models.
It is incredible the level of malice and animosity that the PGA Tour monopolists have towards the LIV. First they attacked the LIV every day because of human rights in Saudia Arabia. Then after Biden went to Riyadh begging the Saudis to have better relations with the USA, the monopolists of the PGA Tour had no longer been able to mention the subject of human rights. Now they have begun to copy entirely the model of the LIV both financial (more money to the players) and of game rules (abolition of the cut, of the match play, etc, etc ). But if the LIV was for the PGA monopolists the devil why now ...... do they copy it in everything ?

I am beginning to warm to LIV. The level of golf is of the highest standard and competitiveness is strong. But the team names are rubbish.

Definitely way more brand snobs than there used to be and tbh, 60%+ of amateurs probably could use a 200 quid driver instead of a TM or Callaway and not be able to tell the difference
love to see the better courses, but it is the cheaper ones that grow the game of golf. i believe people would like to compare how you play around some of those compared to them. tremendous channel!

Everybody said the local Pro at my old course in England could play on tour, one day I was chatting with him and mentioned this, at the time I was a 16hc, he said he would need to improve as much as I would need to improve to get to scratch if he wanted to make it on tour!
my first set from dad was the Wilson Fg51 blades almost 30 years ago. OMG they looked so cool. I wish I can find a set now.

I work in a golf store that sells new and used equipment much like your Golfbidders and what I see in buying new drivers is price isn't a big deal for guys buying new and like you we see the same if they are a Titleist guy or a Ping guy they rarely try a different brand , there is some buzz about the new Wilson carbon driver because of all the u tube vids ,the market where Wilson will take sales away are the brands that are a little cheaper that don't have a lot of market share aways and the Wilson will hurt their sales , the Cleveland , Tour Edge , Srixon and Mizuno which are all priced lower and haven't performed as well as the top brands , but I know we will sell 100 used/demo Taylormade stealth's from 2022 before we sell one of the Wilsons or any of the 4 others i mentioned, we are selling those cheaper than any of these 5 2023 models.
Rick you should put the 2022 TaylorMade M4 driver in the bag ( you have one) and start hitting a few more fairways
It is incredible the level of malice and animosity that the PGA Tour monopolists have towards the LIV. First they attacked the LIV every day because of human rights in Saudia Arabia. Then after Biden went to Riyadh begging the Saudis to have better relations with the USA, the monopolists of the PGA Tour had no longer been able to mention the subject of human rights. Now they have begun to copy entirely the model of the LIV both financial (more money to the players) and of game rules (abolition of the cut, of the match play, etc, etc ). But if the LIV was for the PGA monopolists the devil why now ...... do they copy it in everything ?

Budget course, package set (i.e. Callaway Edge, Cobra Fly XL, not those $100 Slazenger clubs you made James Robinson play lol), any golf balls that are NOT top tier tour balls. No Pro V1's, No Srixon Z Star, TaylorMade TP5X etc...
